The picture of Bill for this chapter is my favourite version of him and how I imagine him while writing this but it's your choice of which Bill you want ;)
Also, your comments are amazing I love them!
---------------------------------

It took you a while to open your eyes that morning, they were clouded with sleep. You sat up slowly and yawned, finally fully awake and able to take in your surroundings. You were on the couch, Bill cuddled up against you with his arms wrapped around your sides, obviously still sleeping. You smiled and watched him sleep, in the non-creepy way. He looked so peaceful and cute. His hair was tossled from turning in his sleep and it made him look even more cute and really sexy. Not that you didn't like his regular slicked-back and combed hairstyle.

"You shouldn't be thinking those things," Bill suddenly said, giving you a mini heart attack. You gasped then slapped his arm, glaring at him. He chuckled and rolled over so he could sit up next to you. You frowned and reached up to attempt to fix his hair, making him scoot away from you and push your hands away. You giggled and he smiled, kissing your forehead. "Work today?" He asked and you shook your head no. Luckily the weekend wasn't over so you didn't have to report to the Mystery Shack for cashier duty.

You felt Bill wrap his arms around your waist and pull you closet to him, his head resting on your shoulder. "I have to get up Bill," you laughed, struggling to get out of his grip. He kissed your neck and you patted his head with your free hand, finally pushing out of his hold and standing to go make some breakfast. Just as you entered the kitchen the doorbell rang. "Who the heck would come here at nine in the morning?!" You complained, going back into the living room to answer the door.

"Don't open it!" Bill exclaimed, rushing around trying to find his suit. "It's okay, you don't have to wear your suit all the time. Seeing you in a black t-shirt isn't bad," you rolled your eyes but he ignored you, running into the hallway to get changed in the bathroom. You sighed and opened the door to see Mabel standing there with a massive smile on her face, a less amused Dipper behind her. "Mabel wanted to come over to plan your birthday," Dipper groaned, "sorry but she wouldn't leave me alone until I came. You were probably sleeping, I told her not to come..."

"No, no, it's fine! Come in," you said, ushering them inside and re-locking the door behind them. You guestured for them to take a seat and got them something to drink. "Okay so Mabel," you started, "I don't want anything extravagant for my birthday, really. Just hanging out with you and everyone at the Mystery Shack is fine."

"But it's your EIGHTEENTH birthday!" Mabel pouted and stuck out her bottom lip. You laughed and sighed, "fine, but don't go over-the-top."

Mabel pumped her fist and took a piece of paper and a purple ink pen from the table nearby, writing y/n's birthday party on the top line. "Okay, so sonce you want a simple party at the Mystery Shack, let's have it there. And invite everyone. Everyone!" Mabel started scribbling words all over the page and you saw Dipper rolling his eyes. "Really, y/n, sorry to bother you," he sighed but you smiled. "I'm serious, it's okay. You guys are my best friends!" He laughed a bit but his face fell as soon as Bill walked into the room.

"Hey babe," Bill said and sat cross-legged behind you. You flinched by instinct when he grabbed your waist an pulled you into his lap but smiled and let him hug his arms around you. For some reason Dipper was glaring at Bill with intensity you didn't know was possible. Did he still like you? That was fine but he shouldn't be so upset. "That's fine Mabel," you said as Mabel asked you if her sloppy sketch of a very over the top cake was what you wanted. You glanced at Dipper, hoping to share a laugh, but he looked preoccupied and angry. Probably not the best time.

Once Mabel had everything planned, the twins left and Mabel told you she would text you the time and all that information. As soon as they were gone and you had finished closing the front door behind them, you turned around to face Bill, hands on your hips. "What was that about?" You asked.

"What was what about?" Bill replied an you groaned. "Dipper! I told you not to read his mind anymore," you said and Bill frowned. "I didn't," he promised and you shrugged, still uneasy. Why was Dipper acting like this? He should be over it by now. Unless that's not the reason...

"So what is a birthday party anyway?" Bill broke the silence. You stared at him a moment then smirked. "Seriously?"

"Seriously. I don't understand the concept, explain it to me," he insisted. You sighed yet again and sat down on the couch. "Well, it's kind of like a celebration of your birth, of you. All your friends and sometimes family come over and have fun and sometimes they bring presents. It's just one day out of the year, almost everybody celebrates it," you finished explaining with a smile. You studied his face, which had a blank expression. Finally he said one word, "huh?"

"Nevermind," you giggled and he broke into a small grin. "So, family and friends come! Is your family coming?" He asked. You immediately felt your face heat up and eyes water. Your parents had died about three or four years ago, and you had no siblings or close relatives that you often spoke to. You just had the Pines family, which was like your family. You were their family. "Oh," Bill said quietly, "sorry."

"It's okay," you assured him, swiping at your eyes, "Dipper and Mabel are like my siblings and Stan is like my grandpa...er, 'grunkle.'" Bill gave a small smile and you beamed back at him. "Y/n," the dream demon started, "you know I love you, right?"

"Yeah," you said simply, turning away to start on some chores you needed to get done. You were trying to act calm when really your mind was whirling and your heart was doing flips. He loves me! He just admitted it! Is this happening? Really? You felt like you were back in school with a crush, but this time it was truly love. "Love you too," you stammered and he furrowed his eyebrows, getting serious. "No, I want you to know that I really do love you. I'm not joking or anything. This isn't for a deal. I love you a lot," he took a deep breath, "whatever happens."

You were one hundred percent sure you were blushing and smiled. "Thank you," you said, voice barely audible. You felt embarrassed, nervous, excited, overwhelmed, and deliriously happy all at once. He smirked and waved his hands, telling you to finish whatever "boring chore" you were doing. You laughed and went back to cleaning, still thinking about what had just happened.
