Manuel

The empty warehouse is cold. Every window broken long ago. Dirt coats the cement in layers.

Two, very relaxed, middle aged men stare me down from across the space, watching me close the distance between us as I walk in their direction, my shoes creating the only sound for miles.

I knew as soon as I got the call that I had a fresh target, these particular men only show their faces when they need use of my services.
Aside from that, these two Tenientes are what separate me from Don El Amadio, the only man I fear.

He singlehandedly created me to be the menacing man I am seen to be today, and he can tear me down just as easily.

The taller of the two nods to me once upon my arrival, they are both shrouded in shadows, their faces vague in the dark. Though it doesn't matter, I don't need to see their faces to know that I've got work to do.

I nod once in response and come to a stop, bringing my hands behind me as a sign of respect.

The meeting is brief, with barely a few words of information given to me before they're gone again. We've got a complication and I know exactly how to deal with it.

My work is simple. Find people, kill them.
The how is my choice. I enjoy making the scene as horrific as possible, a clear reminder that we're not the la gente you fuck with. I don't waste time cleaning up the mess, that's not my problem.

I don't need a reason to follow through with orders to kill, I'm good at what I do, I enjoy it, I wouldn't care to know the who or the why, tell me what I'm to do and I'll do it. Ultimately, blood will be spilt. I am the means to an end. From past experiences, my targets are usually your typical whistleblowers, people who know too much and those that are a danger to our business.

No one is off limits.
The chase is the best part, the more complicated the hunt, the better.

Having the advantage I do makes my life easy a majority of the time, this isn't one of those instances, though I do have a long list of people I can use to assist me when I don't want to get my hands dirty, which is part of the solution to my current issue.

I seethe in anger as her name takes over my mind.
Knowing this one insignificant woman is threatening the Cartel makes my blood boil.

I can't wait to see the life leave her eyes.

The fucking la puta has screwed it up for all of us, sticking her nose in places it doesn't belong. Life was going by perfectly until she decided to take note of my name. It'll be easy to end her, that much is clear to me.

I've got plenty of ins with her. That's not going to cause me any issues, but the easy ins are where the fun goes to die.

I like to make a game out of my jobs, to keep myself entertained, this one will be a real special treat.

Not only will I put a stop to her tormenting, I'll get a kick out of it too.

I am so excited that this is finally out.

It's taken some serious time to get this down, but it's tricky working from the outside of someone's mind.

Because there's no in with Manuel.
He has too many secrets.

Can't wait to hear what you think!!

Thanks for reading!!
