"I guess you really are a magician" The mother chuckled as she watched Dani perform her trick

"Only on Saturdays" Dani winked

"Higher!" Cayden giggled

Dani pushed her finger higher in the air and walked around with the girl above her. As crazy as it may sound, it wasn't that obvious to the adults.

"And down we go" Dani smiled as she placed the girl back down in her seat

"That. Was. Totally. Wicked!" The small girl squealed

"Thank you, I'll be here for the rest of the week, tip your waiters" Dani smirked before heading off the stage

Mia shook her head in disbelief as the girl approached her. Dani held a smile on her face as she joined the girl to look over the children

"How did you do that?" Mia asked

"A magician never reveals her secrets" Dani smirked

"Ugh whatever" Mia pouted, Dani laughed and threw an arm around the girl

A heat rose to Mia's cheek but she hid it away, embarrassed that she would blush from just a simple contact.

"Now, let's go get that pizza I offered" Dani said

"Fucking finally" Mia groaned

"Language!" Dani warned using the girl's words against her

"Sorry" Mia giggled, the girl's headed towards the glass door and stepped into the house

"I'm telling you, Azula and Ty Lee were FUCKING!" a voice yelled.

The two girl's jaw dropped as their eyes landed on who it was.

"No fucking way" Dani gasped, the person turned to face the two girls

"Oh sorry about my profanity- but I'm not sorry" The person smirked

"Holy shit" Mia gasped

"Are you two okay?" the person asked with a chuckle

"You-you're-"

"Alexis Graceffa, in the flesh" The person answered

"Holy shit, I love your books" Mia said

"Thank you, it's always nice to be appreciated" Alexis said as she glared at Cayden's mother

"Why the fuck didn't I realize this sooner, you're Hayden Musk" Dani said as she pointed to Cayden's mother

"Guilty" Hayden smiled

"No way. I need to call Luna" Dani laughed as she slipped her phone into her pocket to face time her best friend

"Hey Cayden, here's your gift Buddy" Alexis said as she handed the small girl a toaster-

"Alexis, what are doing with my toaster?" Hayden asked

"Fucking Tokyo forgot to pick her gift up from the shop and Isabella was too busy to get anything. I came here right after work. It's either that or her first beer, you choose bitch" Alexis said

"I should knock your teeth out" Hayden glared at her friend

"It's just like the book" Mia chuckled

"Luna! Look who I just ran into!" Dani said, she turned the phone to the Author that smiled sweetly

"Hi Luna" Alexis said

"No fucking way!" Luna screamed

"Yes. Fucking way!" Alexis screamed

"DANI HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. IM SUPPOSED TO BE THERE WITH YOU" Luna yelled

"WELL IM SORRY THAT I COULDN'T CALL YOU BEFORE BECAUSE I WAS RUNNING FROM THE COPS" Dani yelled back

"OH WHAT DID YOU GET IN TROUBLE FOR, WORKING ROUND THE CORNER?!" Luna yelled

"Hey! Prostitution is still a job!" A voice said

"Oh my god it's Danny!" Mia squealed

"Hello there" The boy smirked

"Oh don't you even dare" Levi said as she swatted the boy's arm

"Is everyone in this damn house?!" Luna asked

"Yeah we are!" a group of people yelled

The two girl's turned their faces in the direction of the entire group sitting on the sofa with champagne between their fingers

"I think I'm gonna faint" Mia said

"I can't thank you enough for helping out today" Hayden smiled

"You've repaid us really well"

"I will end you" Dani spat

"But it's niceee" Mia pouted

"It's fucking disgusting and I'm ashamed to be in the same room with you" Dani said

"You don't mean that"

"No I don't mean it but it's still disgusting" Dani said as she held the slice of pizza

"The citrus makes it so sweet and the combinat-"

"FOOKING DISGUSTING" Dani spat

"Fine!" Mia groaned
"Then I'm taking your dip"

"To do what? Dip your nasty ass pineapple pizza in it? You're an animal" Dani yelled

"I hate you so much" Mia glared at the girl

"No you don't. You love me but you just don't realize it yet" Dani smirked, the Vampire leaned closer to the girl over the table

"Oh? It that so?" Mia laughed

"Yes, one day you'll have a breakdown over if you should or shouldn't kiss me" Dani said, her eyes flickered down to the girl's lips

"Really?" Mia wiggled her eyebrows

"Yes, really" Dani said confused, their faces hovered before each others

"Now why would you want to kiss a disgusting pineapple eater like me?" Mia smirked

Dani groaned and shoved herself back into her seat, she glared at the cheerleader that laughed

"I have to thank you for today" Mia said

Her eyes locked with the Vampire, Dani gave a small smile before devouring the pizza

"I've never felt so alive before. It's been a crazy couple of days back home and I guess it was just getting to me" Mia said

"You don't have to explain yourself" Dani whispered, Mia smiled sweetly before nodded

"But today I was just... Drained, something kinda happened and I guess I overthink about it so I was in a sour mood all day. But you Dani.. You really help me find myself again today. So thank you for that, and thank you for making today the most memorable day of my life, I met my favorite author, I ran from the police and a mob, I opened myself up for drama class and... I got a chance to be myself today" Mia mumbled

"I just want to make you happy" Dani whispered, Mia reached her hand over the Dani's and placed it into her palm

"You do. You truly do make me happy Dani" Mia smiled widely

As much as Dani wanted to believe those words, it wasn't the way she wanted it to be. It wasn't the words she needed to hear. Dani knew Mia only thought of her as a bestfriend. A girl she could go shopping with and paint toe nails. But Dani wanted so much more than that, she wanted to have the girl to herself.

Not in a super stalker type of way. But to have her heart to keep. She wanted to make the girl happy everyday. She wanted to hold her hand and kiss her pain away.

That's why In that moment, Dani decided to get the girl. If she wanted Mia, she needed to earn her. Dani decided right there and then that she'd make the girl fall for her.

"Really to head home? It's already 7" Dani said

"Oh shit, I have an early practice tomorrow morning" Mia said

"Really? What time?" Dani asked

"5Am, Aelia wants us all there to start" Mia said

"I could take you" Dani said, Mia furrowed her brows

"What?"

"I could take you to school tomorrow, it's no problem. I'm always up in the morning" Dani said

"You don't have to-"

"Shhh, I'll be there" Dani smiled as she stood to her feet

"You're something else Dani Slavic"

"I know, Mia Jackson" Dani chuckled as they headed towards the door

"After you M'lady" Dani said as she opened the car restaurant door

"Ah, you're such a gentlewoman" Mia giggled

The girl two girls headed into the car and Dani was quick to pull onto the main road. Mia's eyes kept glancing in the girl's direction, she wondered what made Dani so fierceless, so charming in her ways.

Then her eyes glanced to the girl's honest sweet lips, she wondered what it would feel like to taste them. They seemed so soft, so delicate. A single bite would bruise them. A tingle ran through her body as she thought of leaning over there and kissing the girl. She sucked in a breath and turned away.

A comfortable silence fell between them as the car ride came to an halt. The sky was dark blue as the mood peaked it's silver light through a few clouds. The girl's hopped out the car and Dani watched as Mia slowly made her towards the door

"Something wrong?" Dani asked, the Vampire pressed her back against the car door with her hands in her pockets as she watched the Cheerleader

"Not really, kinda... I.. I don't know" Mia said

"Wanna talk about it?" Dani asked, she raised her brow

"It's not something that I wanna say" Mia said

"Then do whatever you wanna do" Dani laughed

Mia bit her lips nervously as she approached the Vampire that was leaning against the car. Mia stood inches away from the girl, Dani's eyes locked with her as her heart Pounded against the veins in her body, the adrenaline coursed through Mia's veins as she leaned closer.

"I can't do what I want" Mia whispered

"Why?" Dani muttered, the Vampire's finger gripped the girl's waist and tugged her against her body.

Mia squealed when their bodies collided and giggled left her throat, but she pushed away quickly.

"My mother is home" Mia chuckled

"Your mom's a cock block" Dani groaned

Mia gigigled and pressed her lips against the Vampire's cheek. Dani smiled when the girl stepped away, her hands slipped away from the cheerleader.

"Goodnight Dani" Mia giggled

"Goodnight Mia"
