"Aren't you overreacting a little bit?" Marina asked, rolling her eyes at me.

"Just a little bit." Neymar commented, fixing the beanie I put on his head so that he could see properly. "Are the glasses necessary?" He asked when I fished his sunglasses out of my bag and handed them to him.

"I don't know about you but I love it." Bernard commented. He could barely hold back his laughter. "It's like a spy movie."

"Or a parody of a spy movie." Marina said.

"Mock all you want," I said, looking around carefully, "but I for one, have no desire to end up in tomorrow's papers and off the team subsequently."

"You are overreacting." Bernard said, as he sipped on his soda.

"You are underreacting. Put some sunglasses on!"

"I have a fake beard in my car, should I go get it?" He said and he and Marina started laughing.

"Seriously babe," Neymar whispered in my ear as he slid towards me in the booth, "people don't usually pay that much attention. Unless they know you're there."

"Let's make sure they don't." I said, giving him a kiss.

"In that case..." he said and reached for my purse. He took my sunglasses off and put them in my eyes carefully. "Remember what happened at the scavenger hunt don't you? You're pretty popular around here as well."

"That's true." Marina interrupted. "I read yesterday th—"

"I don't wanna know." I cut her. "Neymar's mystery girlfriend isn't a title I'm interested in."

"How about just girlfriend?" Neymar asked me, a sly smile on his face.

"Yeah I like that. For us and our friends to know. Not the world yet."

"Agreed." Neymar said and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Everyone ready to order?" The waiter appeared and I realized that none of us had looked at the menus yet.

Bernard asked for five more minutes in Portuguese and he nodded. "Alright." He said and left.

"So how did you find this place?" Marina asked. "Did you like do a thorough research and statistical analysis to find the place with the least risk of being discovered?"

"I love it when you girls talk dirty!" Bernard said and Marina poked him in the ribs.

"That would be a bit over the top." I commented, rolling my eyes at Marina. "It was Neymar's idea actually."

"Yeah I used to come here a lot when I was younger." Neymar said.

"I didn't know that!" I turned to him.

"Is it bad?" He asked me, quizzically.

"That risk we were talking about just doubled." Marina told him. "People know you come here."

"I don't think—" Neymar started saying when I heard the click of a camera and saw a flash of light.

"You were saying?" I asked, pushing him away from me. He almost fell off the booth.

"Liv!" He exclaimed.

"Sorry!" I said. "Switch with Marina." I told him since the both of them were on the outside seats.

"Is it necessary?" Marina asked.

I gave her a pointed look. With a sigh she stood up and came and sat next to me.

"Amazing date isn't it love?" Bernard asked Neymar when he sat next to him.

"Yeah the best..." Neymar mocked him, looking at me.

"Sorry." I mouthed.

Live fast, die young

Bad girls do it well

"I love this song! C'mon!" Marina exclaimed grabbing me by the arm and dragging me along.

"What the hell." I shrugged my shoulders and put my drink down, following her.

We reached the dancefloor and started dancing. I got lost in the music. The few drinks I had, made me really not care about anything around me and anyone paying attention. I danced with Marina and I realized we must have looked a little silly, moving our hands and hips to the beat of the music while laughing our asses off.

"Bad girls do it well!" We sang to the lyrics.

I felt firm hands on my arms and Neymar came to focus.

"Pull me closer if you think you can hang." I said before wrapping my arms around him. I locked my hands around his neck bringing us closer. I closed my eyes and let myself get lost.

When I looked at him again, his cheeks were flushed the same way mine most likely were. Drops of sweat had started to form on his brow, same way they did when he played football. I kind of liked that.

I gave him a lopsided smile. He took my hand as we made way through the people. He was leading me towards the VIP area, I realized. I pulled his hand which made him turn around to look at me. "Let's go outside." I said.

He nodded and soon we were out the back door, in the alley.

"Air!" He said.

I laughed as I steadied myself on the wall. My head had started to hurt.

"My feet are killing me!" I said.

"Take them off!" He said pointing at my shoes.

"And walk barefoot?"

"C'mon." He said.

I put my hand on his shoulder as I undid the strap of my left shoe and took it off. He pulled me towards him so that I could put my foot on top of his. I undid the other shoe and did the same so now I was stepping on him. I wrapped my hands around his shoulders to steady myself.

"Wanna dance?" He asked. I laughed but he started moving anyway. I started laughing.

"You're crazy!" I told him.

After a few turns we went back inside and I stepped off him.

"Are you gonna put them back on?"

"But why would I do that?" I said, taking his hand in mine and leading us back to the dancefloor. In the midst of people, in plain sight no one paid attention to us. We made no effort to dance to the beat of the music, instead we swayed slowly.

"I'm kind of over this." He told me and I nodded.

"What do you want to do?" I asked him.

He pursed his lips together, thinking. "Wait here." He told me and disappeared. A moment later he was back. "Let's go." He told me grabbing my hand.

"Where?" What about Marina and Bernard?"

"They're big kids. They'll be alright."

"Well yeah," I started saying, "But how will they get back? We took just your car."

"I took care of it." He said as he opened the back door for me once again. He thanked the staff that helped us get out and brought his car in front of the door. He opened the passenger seat and I got in.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

He gave me a cryptic, half smile. I rested my back on the seat and looked outside. I felt a little dizzy but the buzz had started to disappear.

"We're here." He said a little while later. I looked around but it was so dark I couldn't see anything. He was at my door in no time.

"Let me get my shoes." I said and started searching for them in the back seat.

"No need for that." He said.

"Just where are we?" I asked but as soon as my feet touched the ground I felt the cool sand between my toes. "We are at the beach?"

He nodded. "I thought you'd like it. Since there's no one here." He said.

"I do." I told him. "It's perfect."
