3rd Person POV

(y/n) charged first, with the help of air, she gave herself a boost and let out a battle cry when she was close enough to punch him in the face. He blocked it with both of his arms and twisted his body to try and land a kick on her side. With her fast reflexes, she dodged only by a bit and back flipped twice to provide distance between the two of them.

"Not bad for a foreplay." He mused.

"I couldn't say the same to you." He scowled at this and this time he was the first one who initiated an attack. He bolted to her and poured out multiple punches infused with fire.

"How did-!" She tried her best to block his fists by manipulating water to extinguish the fire and by using her arms to block the punch. He didn't stop and never let her have an opening.

On the other side, the two beasts are fighting over, Nix having an advantage because of his wings, but the venom of his opponent makes it more lethal for him when it lands a hit.

"It's been a long time old friend." The komodo dragon bellowed amusingly.

"Did you miss me Gon?" Nix played.

"I miss winning over you if that's what you mean." He proudly said.

"Oh but the last time I checked you never won. You aren't delusional, are you?" Nix smirked at him as he started bringing more power to his flapping. The komodo dragon roared in anger and ran to the direction of Nix. The red phoenix, already predicted what his opponent was about to do, flew high up and let out his sharp talons. Letting gravity take him, he dove down and prepared his talons in front of him as he let out a high pitched scream.

The komodo dragon dodged by an inch and used his tail to hit Nix when he landed on the ground. But Nix having fast reflexes like (y/n), he managed to jump back to avoid the incoming attack.

Back to (y/n), it was hard to find an opening with the consecutive punches but it was not impossible. She waited and anticipated for the right moment to strike back. And there she saw it, an opening. Before another fist land on her she infused her right fist in rocks and punched him in the gut, throwing him for a good 15 meters. He stopped himself by creating more friction between the ground and his feet.

She stood still and took a deep breath. She reached for the skies as dark thunderclouds covered the light heavens. Drops of rain started coming down. Letting out a battle cry, she swiftly put her hands to her side as the wind started to pick up and lightning flashes around them. Some trying to land a hit on the man but he keeps on dodging and racing for the girl. With now only a few meters between them, he slammed his hand down to the ground and manipulated the ground. The soil beneath (y/n)'s feet climbed up to her legs and kept her still. Noticing the sudden stiffness of her legs a little too late, she was met up with a massive boulder coming down at her.

In no time, she enchanted the words she needed to say and froze the time. She got out of the soil wrapped around her legs. Looking around, she found the light green eyes she's looking for. She walked closer to him and looked at him straight in the eye. The next thing happened made her lose focus, his eyes moved to look back at her and he showed a smirk. Taking a few steps back, she prepared her fighting stance as the man in front of her broke like porcelain and revealed the real him and he can move even though she froze the time.

"Those don't work on us." He said and prepared for another attack.

"Us?" She questioningly replied. He only glanced at his right side as reply. And there they are, Nix and Gon fighting relentlessly.

"It's bad that Gon is doing his best at the first stage while I'm just playing around, so why not I level up my work?" He raised his arm in front of him and stretched his palm. The surrounding started breaking apart as the time continues.

'What??!' (y/n) shockingly questioned in her mind.

A whitish blue force hit her on the stomach and threw her far. She jumped back up and raced back at him as she shouts a battle cry. Strong forces of wind picked up around her as she struck a hand out at him and the air followed cutting through several trees behind him. She continued striking at him as he blocked her with a massive amount of water.

"Why don't we fight with our strongest element? Come to think of it, you haven't used it since the start of our fight. You think I'm not worthy enough? Then I'll force you to use it." He cried out and made a massive tsunami behind him out of nowhere.

(y/n) tsked and jumped back far enough for the tsunami to not hit her immediately.

"Feel a quarter of my power using my strongest element." He laughed after his declaration and directed his hand at her with the tsunami following.

She closed her eyes and felt for the deepest and strongest element she has. The tsunami running fast at her, she opened her now red orange eyes and screamed. A massive fire lights itself around her body and the area around her. So massive that it even reached the forest and burned a lot of trees and the outburst so strong that it made the wind go crazy. It extinguished the whole tsunami completely. The fire continued heating up as she screams.

"HAHAHAHA!!! THAT'S IT!! SHOW ME THE POWER OF YOUR STRONGEST ELEMENT!" The man shouted completely amazed by the blazing red in front of him.

The two beasts separated from each other and went back to the sides of their master after making sure to leave scars to each other.

"We should go, she's not able to control it yet. We might be at a disadvantage, besides her friends might wake up and reinforcement might come from her strong outburst." The albino komodo dragon named Gon advised his master.

"You're right let's go." He smiled at the girl in front of him.

"And where do you think you're going?" He just took a blink and now the girl is in front of him. She slammed him down deep in to the ground before any of the beasts can react.

"But first, let me extinguish you." The man below her said and enveloped his body into water as he slowly condensed into water himself. He rose up and enclosed her in a water dome completely putting out the fire around her and drowning her. He waited until she was barely conscious before letting her out and throwing her beside her now small companion.

He came back to his solid body and walked a few steps close to her and smirked at her who now only has half lidded eyes. Before the two of them left, he whispered something to her ears.

"The name's Mizuya by the way..."
