Jimin's POV

I sat on my bed with the book in my hands.
My heart was beating rapidly.
'This is gonna be amazing,' I thought as I smirked.

Dear Diary,
This is Mina here, and today was the first day of school!
The first thing I saw today was that jerk.
If you don't know who that 'jerk' is, I'll tell you.
He's hated me since second grade, and has been destroying my life since!
I just hate him and his guts.
His name is Park Jimin. He's a shortie who looks and talks like a 3 year old.
Heh, if you tell him that, he gets all angry and it's so funny :))
To be honest, I actually used to like him until last year. Our pranks on each other weren't as bad, but now...he's gotten a bit crazy. I started hating him when he ruined my grade 11 prom..
Well, I don't wanna think about what happened then because it hurts, but let me just tell you the prank I pulled off on him...

I slammed the book shut.
She REALLY DOES hate me.
But I can't seem to get the idea of her liking me out of my head.

Last year, Prom (flashback)
I heard that my best friend Jungkook was taking Mina's best friend Wheein to prom, while Yoongi was taking Mina to prom.
My two best friends going out with my two enemies!
I didn't really care if Jungkook went out with Wheein, he seemed to really like her, but my problem was Yoongi...

I hate to admit it, but I had a huge crush on her...and still do.
When I heard she was going to prom with him, I got angry and decided to do something about it.

So, I told Yoongi a lie. I told him that Mina didn't really like him and was going out with another guy, she was just playing a trick on Yoongi.
Well, I didn't REALLY tell him myself, I texted him from another number.
In the end, Mina was left alone and Yoongi was angry and sad.
She later found out it was me who told Yoongi all this, and she told him. Yoongi and I didn't talk to each other for 2 months after that, but now we're fine.

. . .

Now that I think about it, I actually feel kind of bad...

Hey, what am I thinking!?
I'm her enemy, right? I've gotta get her back, REALLY BAD, so that she won't dare play another prank on me again.
I looked over at her diary and smiled.
Jimin, you're so smart.

Mina's POV

I walked to school with Wheein and told her about my diary.
"Don't worry Mina, I'm sure the janitor put it somewhere safe while cleaning," she reassured me.
I nodded, but still, I was worried.

I rushed to the class I was in yesterday, before school started.
My heart was beating faster and faster as I still couldn't find it. I looked in the cabinets, drawers, desks, windows and on the floor, but I was of no luck in finding my diary.

I ran through the halls, looking for it on the floor.
"Ahh, Mr.Moore, while you were cleaning the history class, did you happen to find any red little book on the floor?" I asked hopefully.
He scratched the back of his head, trying to recall anything strange he found while cleaning yesterday, then his eyes lit up.
"Ahhh yes, is this what you're talking about?" He pulled out a small maroon book from his pocket as I looked at it, but I frowned.
That wasn't my diary.
"No, that's not mine," I said.
"Oh, sorry then Mina, that was the only thing I found then, have a good day," he smiled and walked away.

Shit, shit, shit, shit, SHIT!

When I went back to my locker to get my books, I saw a small yellow note on it.
Pulling it off, I read it:

I have something that may belong to you.
Meet me on the roof RIGHT after school.
- ???

I sighed in relief.
This person most likely had my diary...but wonder if they read it!?
I'll be dead!

After School

I tapped my fingers against my desk, waiting for the bell to ring.
"Brrrrrr!"
Finally.
I told Wheein I had some work to do, and told her I won't be walking home with her today, she seemed curious of what the 'work' was, so I told her.
"Oh okay, good luck. Bye Mina!" She smiled and walked away, heading home.

I grabbed my bag and ran up the stairs which lead to the roof.
Opening the door and expecting to see someone there, I saw no one.
'Maybe they're a bit late, or wonder if the forgot?'
I was still desperate to have my diary back, so I went up to the railing and put my bag down, waiting.

Two minutes had passed, and no one came.
'I think I should leave...actually, stay one more minute.'
As I looked around, I heard the door open and footsteps coming my way.
When I turned around, I saw none other than Park Jimin holding a little red book in his hand and smirking evilly.

"You.." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Yeah. Me." He smiled.

"So, I found this yesterday. You have some pretty interesting entries."

I blushed, remembering all the embarrassing things I wrote.
Then, I remembered what he just said...he READ it!

"Shut up and give it back!" I yelled, lunging my hand at the diary, but he was too quick and moved it above his head, out of my reach.
I jumped, attempting to get it back, but failed miserably.

"Guess who's the short one now?" He smirked at me.

"Yeah whatever, now give it back before I kill you!"

"Nuh uh."

"You write such embarrassing stuff, turns out you liked me until last year until I ruined your prom date with Yoongi, I bet you still haven't gotten over me."

"Yah! Shut the hell up, I would never like somebody like you, so just give it back!"

"That hurt my feelings," he pretended to cry.
"So now, you're never gonna get it back."

"I'll show the whole school your embarrassing little secrets and they'll all make fun of you, it'd be great! Instead of only me against you, the whole school will be against you!"
He laughed evilly, reminding me of some cruel villain from a movie.

Tears started to well up in my eyes. I knew he'd be the only person who'd do such a thing, and I was getting scared.

My voice softened. "Jimin, please give it back, please.."

"How 'bout NO," he smirked while I turned red from anger.

WHY WON'T HE LISTEN!?

"Please! I'll do anything for you, I'll stop pranking you, just give it back!"

"Anything? You'll do ANYTHING for me to have this thing back?"

Shit. Not a good choice.

"U-ummm..."

"Yeah, I thought so, you're a liar."

"Jimin, come on, please, I'm not even fighting, just give it back!"

"You glued my books."

"You put pins on my chair."

"Hmmm..."

"This pranking thing is stupid!" I yelled to myself.

"Yeah, you're right. We need to do something more fun.."

I looked at him in confusion.

"How about we play a dare game?"

"What do you mean?" I questioned, looking at him. He had a whole new excitement in his eyes that I've never seen before.

"We'll give each other dares to see who's better. The one who completes a dare gets a point, while one who doesn't, loses them. The more extreme the dare, the more points you get. If you agree to this, I'll stop the pranking, and you get your diary back."

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but...okay. Deal."
He handed the diary to me while we shook hands.

"Deal."

Then, he smiled all evilly.

"Let's start now... me first. I dare you to..."
