"OUT FOR SNOW'S BLOOD..."

--¤☆¤--

Waking up to Peeta letting out a small screech of pain, I bolt up ready for a fight; only to find a large amount for nurses and doctor's surrounding us. One of the doctor's reaches for my arm, but I shoo him off and point to Peeta; refusing to speak to anyone right now. Nodding his head, he signals to the other doctor's redirect their attention from me to Peeta. Gripping Peeta's hand, I give it a comforting squeeze as the doctor next to him; adds a IV to him.

Grabbing onto the side of the railing, I shakily walk down the ramp; only to be swarmed with a new pair of doctors. Alarms were going off in my head, as some of them poked and stared at my exposed arms staring at my bruises in shock or horror. There were too many of them, far to many of them staring at me like I was some sort of animal. Grabbing my arm, I was stabbed with a needle; making me tear up from the pain.

"This might hurt." Someone whispers, but I couldn't tell who.

I felt stupid knowing that I was crying over a little needle, but I felt tired and weak. I hadn't eaten or drank anything since who know's how long, maybe a few days. I felt like crying and yet passing out at the same time, but I guess it was from the rush and pace of how things were going.

"Okay⎯we need to get a IV and HRM! We need to get fluid's in and then, we'll do more once we get to the Infirmary. Focus on the IV and HRM as of right now!" A voice order's, making the large crowd hum in response.

Pricking me with another needle, I watched as they collected a small blood sample; the blood leaving my arm and filling the clear tube. Holding back a gag, I try to focus on my surroundings; so far it was grey walls with signs plastered on the walls, pointing to different directions. It was interesting looking at all the signs, some had 'WARNING' written in big bold letters; others were to hard to read.

"Can you tell me your name? What day it is? How old you are?" Someone asks, followed by other questions from other nurses.

"I⎯I am Athena Grey. I am twenty three. I don't know what day it is." I said, my voice coming out raw and broken.

Pushing me onto the bed, I go to struggle but was stopped by one of the nurse's shaking her head at me not to. Sinking into the bed, I could feel my body instantly relax at the feeling of warm sheets and soft mattress. Forcing myself to tense up slightly, I stare up at the lights hanging above me; they were slightly blurry from how fast we were moving. I could barely see the sights on the walls, making me feel both nervous and dizzy. I just wanted everything to stop, I just wanted to see my family and sleep.

"Let's get her to the Infirmary! She might have passed out!" Someone shouts, as I shut my eyes and try to enjoy the warmness of the sheets.

Opening my eyes, I found myself being wheeled down more slowly to two metal doors; making me sigh in relief. Wheeling my bed into a less chaotic side of the room, a few of the nurses left me alone; muttering something about need to get me another 'drip bag' or some more 'morphine'.

"Hi Athena, My name is Jean Dean. But you can call me, J.D if you want to. I'm gonna take care of you as of right now." Someone says, as I look at the people walking besides my bed.

Propping myself up with my elbows, I find myself looking around the room; nurses and doctor's running everywhere. Some were whispering amongst each other as they scanned over supplies, then at my body; before setting their eyes on vials of medication. Almost as if they were contemplating on what to give me at the moment. I couldn't blame them, I probably looked as bad as I felt.

"What should we do? Give her extra fluid's or⎯" A voice said, but was cut off by me pulling my attention away.

Walking up to me, a nurse pulls the curtain shut behind her; shutting away any prying eyes. Looking her up and down, I looked down at her hands to look for anything that could hurt me; but found nothing. Relaxing slightly, I really took in her appearance; looking at every little detail of her. She had blonde hair with dark green eyes, she was skinny; but not enough to be called sick. She had bags under her eyes, most likely from night's spent staying up with patients. Her hair had been lazily put up in a ponytail, with strands of it hanging out of it.

"Where's Finnick? I need to see him!" I said, trying to get myself off of the bed; but was pushed back down.

"I'm really sorry, Miss.Grey. But you cannot have any visitor's  just yet." A nurse said, pricking me with another needle.

Turning her back to me, I quickly pull out all of the IV's and wires connect to me; and try to make a run for it. I needed to find Finnick or someone familiar, there were far to many people around me that I didn't know and trust just yet. Hell, all I knew was that we were in District 13 with the Rebels; and somewhere in this crowd of doctor's and nurses was my family and Finnick. Getting one foot onto the tile floor, I was blocked by the nurse; so that I was still someway laying on the bed.

"You don't get it! I need to know that they are here! Please, just let me see them." I beg, trying to get off the bed.

"Miss. Grey⎯not right now! Our main concern is finding out the length and how serious your injuries are!" She scolds, wagging her finger at me; like you would to a child.

"Please, I need to know if they are alive!" I beg, as she sighs.

"I⎯Let's get you stable first..?" She said, but it comes out more as a question.

Opening my mouth to refuse, I was cut off by the sound of doors slamming open and the patter of feet stomping into the room. Jumping at the sounds of the door hitting the wall, the nurse besides me glances between the curtains and then me. Something was happening, and we both wanted to see what it was; but only one of us was gonna let our curiosity get the better of them. Shaking her head, she pushes me back onto the bed and goes to grab a IV when she stops; and peaks through the cracks of the curtain, before her eyes land on me.

"What was that?" I ask, going to get up; but she stopped me.

"I CAME AS SOON AS I HEARD! NOW WHERE IS SHE?!" A familiar voice shouts, snapping her attention from me; to the voice.
