"WITHOUT THE CAPITOL.."
--¤☆¤--

Blankly staring at the large T.V. screen, I waited for the next round of videos that I would be shown. Would it be one of my Mom? Finnick? Klaus? Static appears, then the camera starts to roll. A dark gray room pops, much similar to the one I am in, but this room was far more clean and had a giant pedestal in it.

The launch room. Glitching for a second, the video speed's up until it show's me and Milama talking just before the games had started. Watching as it shows me getting dressed in the jumpsuit, it then comes to a stop and shows in regular time me and Milama talking just before the launch.

Pulling the suit up to my chest, Milama fixed any wrinkles in the suit, her hands trembling at every tug of the fabric. Watching as she fixes the straps that connected my shoes to the suit, I wish that it were Pixie instead. Don't get me wrong. I did like Milama, she was a fresh face.

But I wanted Pixie in my last moments. Making me laugh and smile just before I go into the Arena. Giving me comfort. Fixing my gold bracelet that Pixie had given me all those years ago, I gave Milama a sad smile as she bit her lip. I would miss her. I just hope that she tells Pixie I missed her too.

"Hey, it's okay. I don't blame you. You didn't put me in here." I whisper, tucking the bracelet under my sleeve.

"I know and I am sorry." She apologizes.

"You have nothing to be sorry about." I said, trying to assure her.

"No, I do. I should have tried harder to get more information but, Snow has even more ears nowadays and I mean everywhere. I should have done more." She whispers, looking at the small camera in the corner.

"It's okay, you've done all that you could. I'm grateful for that. But can you do me a favor?" I ask, trying to persuade her otherwise.

"Yes." She said,

"Tell Pixie that I am grateful for everything she's done for me. For all of these years." I ask, feeling a lump in my throat.

"Athena, I can't. I should not be telling you this, but Snow. He had Pixie killed. Labelled her as a traitor to the Capitol." She whispers, escorting me over to the pedestal.

Feeling all the color drain from my face, I couldn't help but let a few tears fall at the thought of Pixie getting killed by President Snow. She was too kind. She was my friend. Was it my fault that she was dead? What did she do? Holding my hand tightly, she slips on a gold ring onto my middle finger, making the sinking feeling in my gut worsen. This was Pixie's ring. I had seen her wearing it one time.

Snapping out of daze, I met Milama's eyes but frowned when I noticed that they were glossed over. Her lip was quivering, but she plastered on a fake smile trying to mask her tears. I didn't blame her in the slightest. I felt like I was doing the same thing. It was like my Games all over again. Stepping on the pedestal, I hold onto her hand tightly, not wanting to let her go just yet.

"She was part of a revolution, as were so many others. Change is coming to Panem, Athena. You need to know that this revolution needs you and Katniss. Stay alive, darling. Find Katniss and the others." Milama whispers, as I step onto the pedestal.

"Revolution?" I ask, as she looks over at the door.

"We don't have much time. The clock is ticking, but your time hasn't come yet." She said, looking over at the small camera in the corner of the room.

What? Going to grab her hand, thick glass surrounds me, trapping me inside. Pressing my hand on the glass, I watched in horror as Peacekeeper's flooded the room. No. No. No. Gripping onto her hair, the Peacekeeper's drag Milama out of the room, her thrashing against their hold. No. No. Shaking my head in disbelief, I let out a sob as the pedestal started to move up. No. No.

"Remember the Capitol is your friend. The Capitol has served you well. Panem will collapse without the order and structure of the Capitol. Panem will burn without the Capitol. Join the Capitol in eliminating all rebels and rebellion." Snow's voice echos, as the screen goes completely black.

The T.V. glitches for a second, just like it had done before. Showing me and Milama talking just before the games had started. It shows me getting dressed in the jumpsuit, it then comes to a stop and shows in regular time me and Milama talking just before the launch. It was replaying again. Why? I had no clue at all, it never repeated a video that wasn't Finnick. What was he playing at? Was he faunting to me? Showing me how it was my fault.

The screen goes black until a picture pops up of her, she was dressed in the same black dress that she wore at the Tribute parade. The difference was that her make-up was messed up, her eye-liner and mascara were running down her face. No blindfold in sight. Her head was held high as a Peacekeeper had a gun to her temple.

She looked so confident in herself. Like this was nothing to her. She looked like she had made peace with the decision. Then the picture starts to fade until giant words appear on the screen, 'MILAMA EROS. TRAITOR TO THE CAPITOL. CAUSE OF DEATH GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE HEAD.' Another person is gone because of me.

"Oh my god." I whisper, my lip quivering.

"Remember the Capitol is your friend. The Capitol has served you well. Panem will collapse without the order and structure of the Capitol. Panem will burn without the Capitol. Join the Capitol in eliminating all rebels and rebellion." Snow's voice repeats, making me dig my nails into the palm of my hands.
