I screamed, falling back into the ground as I did. I hadn't even seen what it was, and I'd freaked out. All I saw was movement and then I panicked.

"Oh crap! I'm sorry, did I scared you? Here, let me help you up!" The person said, reaching out a hand to me. Embarrassed, I took the person hand and stood up.

"No, sorry, I just wasn't expecting someone to be right there..." I replied. The person smiled.

"It's okay. Anyway, we should probably go meet with the others." He said. I stared, confused.

"Others?"

"Oh, yeah, we were all waiting for the last person to arrive, so I came back here to get you." He replied.

"Because of the name plates, right?" I asked. He nodded.

"We were waiting for awhile. There was some sort of announcement on the monitors to go to the lobby, and so we all went there. But we saw sixteen doors, so we were kind of worried." He said, as he scratched the back of his neck. As he spoke, I looked him up and down. Almost immediately, I could guess his talent. But it's good for people to give introductions.

"Um, I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked. The guy paused, looking a bit embarrassed.

"Oh yeah, I should probably introduce myself!" He quickly checked his hair, before wiping the dust off of his pants and shirt. Then, he quickly moved his posture and put a bright smile on his face.

"My name is Kawata Satoru. I am the Ultimate Police Officer. If you need help with anything, just let me know!"

Ah, so this is the police officer. There was a lot of details and threads about him. Apparently, he started training when he was five. Ever since then, he's arrested lots of thieves, and even brought down a gang of mobsters single handedly. He's probably a stickler for laws and rules, but I don't mind. As long as I don't get into trouble I'll be okay.

"Um, so what is your name?" Kawata asked.

"Oh yeah, sorry, um... my name is Hirano Rei, the Ultimate Tutor. Sorry I freaked out earlier." I said. He smiled and nodded.

"It's no problem. I'm the one who scared you, so you shouldn't apologize for that." He said, with a nervous laugh. "Let's go meet up with the others. There probably all waiting." I nodded, as he started to walk down the hallway.

I observed my surroundings as we made our way down the halls. We made our way to a balcony, and as I looked over it, I could see everyone standing around a fountain. I took a deep breath, following Kawata down a set of stairs. It was almost intimidating seeing all of the Ultimates there.

"Finally she arrived! I thought I was gonna die of boredom!" Someone said.

"You must be a very heavy sleeper, that announcement was pretty loud. Or maybe you were hiding out in your room? I could see both possibilities..." Someone else said.

"Anyway, when is the person who called us here gonna show up? Not that I'm complaining about standing around with you guys, but I'm starting to get a bit tired of waiting." Someone else replied.

"Everyone's here now right? So they should probably show up any second now." Another person responded.

"Oh wait, everyone is here? Must've fallen asleep! Alright, let's begin!" Someone else yelled. But it didn't seem like anyone here said it. Actually... it sounded like it was coming from the balcony.

Everyone turned to face it, waiting for whoever was there to reveal themselves. As if someone had given off a signal, a small teddy bear was placed right on the railing, before jumping down and landing in front of us. I stared for a moment, looking at the red panda stuffed animal that just appeared in front of us.

"Um, I'm confused, why is there a stuffed animal here?"

"Who cares about that! Can I jump off the balcony as well!?"

"Let's not so that. We wouldn't want someone to break their legs the first day here." Kawata responded.

"Can we get back to the main topic? Why is their a teddy bear here!?"

"Oh I get it! This must be some sort of prank. Well, they're not gonna win this war!" After saying that, they laughed maniacally, before getting bopped on the head by someone much taller than them.

"Stop it. You're being weird. Anyway, what's with this bear anyway?"

"Wait, I'm a bear? I thought I was a a red panda model! Dang it, let me check the script again..." the bear quickly reached who knows where and pulled out a stack of papers that were stapled together.

"I- it spoke!? What!?" Someone said, stepping back as they did.

"Calm down. There's probably just a speaker inside of it..." someone else snapped at them.

"I really don't know how to feel about this... I- I just can't wrap my head around it..."

"Don't worry. It'll be okay. Let's not think about what is going down for just a moment, and take some deep breaths."

"Nope! I'm done. I'm going back to my room, see y'all later"

"You can't leave yet! We still haven't heard from the person who brought us here!"

"Yep, that's what I thought." The teddy bear put the script away. "I'm a red panda, so don't get confused about that. You actually started to confuse myself about it as well." The red panda paused. "Oh yeah, I'm supposed to introduce myself. My name is Ressa, your guys teacher. And you've been brought here to this hotel for a very specific reason. To get to know each other!"

Everyone looked at each other, before turning back to him.

"Wait, so you've trapped us in this hotel? Well let us out! I've got a school to attend!" Someone yelled.

"No can do! This is what my required. You get to know each other, and then you leave. Got it?" Ressa responded.

"Well, I guess that makes sense. It's not like we're in a dangerous situation." Kawata said.

"Yep! And you can track your progress with each other on this!" The red panda held up a small device, that looked somewhat like an i-Pad. "This is the e-Handbook! With this, you can track your progress with everyone!"

"Um, what if you've already introduced yourself to someone else?" Kawata asked, looking at me, before turning back to the red panda.

"What!? You have!? Well, that's annoying. I'll just update that for the both of you I guess..." Ressa said, before handing out the e-Handbooks.

"Hey, your name is Ressa, right? Then can I call you Ressa-P?" They asked, chuckling to themself.

"Huh? Is that an adolescent joke?" He replied. The person glared for a moment.

"Ugh, nevermind. Stupid red panda bear not getting my stupid jokes..." they mumbled angrily.

"Alright. All of you guys can go outside and introduce yourselves to each other. I'll show you all around after you're all done! Just don't touch the walls. They're a bit... static." Ressa chuckled to himself.

I paused staring at the bear. What was going on? This just seemed... really confusing. We're we really just introducing ourselves and getting to know each other? It's like Kawata said, it's not like anything dangerous is going on.

"Hey, let's go outside. There's no point waiting around here, you know?" He said. I nodded, following him outside. As soon as I went outside, I immediately saw the wall. So tall that if rivaled the height of the hotel.

"Should we check our e-handbooks? Ressa said he was going to update them." I explained. He nodded, opening it up. I quickly followed suit.

Immediately, my name appeared, before bringing me to the Home Screen. There were a lot of different icons, such as map, people, and other things. I clicked on the icon for the other students, which immediately brought up info about myself.

Hirano Rei
Ultimate: Tutor
Age: 17
Birthday: December 23rd
Height: 5'4
Weight: 119
Likes: Fountain Pens, Ocean Sounds
Dislikes: Horror Movies, St. Patrick's Day
Hirano Rei is a shy girl. But don't let that show for her intelligence! Her attention span is very high, so no matter how boring you are, she'll be able to learn something about you!

Hirano's favorite past time is studying the next big thing, and researching the news. Hirano is very humble with her talent, saying that it's nothing special. This has prompted many threads online trying to figure out why she's like this. None of them have been right so far. Maybe she'll reveal her secret, and the world will go crazy in response.

How did they know all of this stuff about me? It didn't make any sense. Had I been stalked? Was Yuutsumi academy that thorough with their investigations?

I paused, looking at the screen. There was one other person highlighted on the screen. It looked like one of the nameplates on the doors. I clicked it, looking at what was written there.

Kawata Satoru
Ultimate: Police Officer
Age: 17
Birthday: May 28th
Height: 5'5
Weight: 129
Likes: S'mores, German Shepherds
Dislikes: Styrofoam, Heights
Kawata Satoru is a bright, awkward boy. He doesn't stand out as much as other boys, until you actually see him do some of his police work. He's been thanked for his work so many times, he's got a couple of medals from it.
Kawata, despite his awkward nature, likes to spend his free time talking to people. Literally anyone. Him and the pizza guy are practically best friends now.
But don't get it twisted. If you're friends with him, and you break the law, he will have no mercy. He could never betray the police workforce.

"This is pretty interesting. I wonder how they got all this knowledge though..." Kawata said, nervously staring at the screen. "It's uh... pretty scary to think about that though."

"Yeah. Um, let's just not think about it for now." I said. He paused for a moment.

"I think I'm going to introduce myself to everyone in my own. So, I'll see you later?" He said. I nodded, as I watched him walk away. Did I... just make a friend?

I took a deep sigh. I need to calm down. I should go introduce myself to everyone.
