"Well... it has to be Arima or Kawata..." Miyazaki replied.

"How about we ask them what they were doing during the black out..." Kajiwara said.

"Well... I kind of just... hid in the corner... OUT OF BRAVERY!!! I WOULD NEVER BE HIDING!!! PFFT, who said I was hiding? I was just... relaxing!" Arima responded.

"You're not helping your case Arima. You just sound more suspicious." Kajiwara spoke.

"W- well, that doesn't, mean anything..." Arima replied, twiddling his thumbs.

"What about you Kawata? What were you doin at the scene of the crime?" Morita said with a detective voice.

"Well, I tried to find someone in the sudden shock, and I ended up getting pushed to the ground." Kawata said.

"Wait, why would you have been pushed?" Morita asked.

"Because Shishido was fighting back!" Sugai called out, chuckling to himself.

"He is the tallest out of Sugai and Arima..." Imamura mumbled.

"H- huh!? What do you mean!? I'm not the culprit!" Kawata replied.

"And isn't the stain on Shishido's hands similar to the color of Kawata's jacket?" Naito said.

"S- stop! Come one guys! This happened last time and I wasn't the culprit!" Kawata responded.

"I did give him that cleaner that sucks the color out of clothing... oops! I mean, that wasn't a scam..." Taguchi said very nonchalantly.

"G- GUYS!!! Just, think this through! This is a set up! Just like last time!" Kawata said.

"Well, if you have some evidence, then I'd like it if you'd present it to us.." Tengan replied. Kawata fell silent, almost confused as he tried to think.

"I- I'll come up with something! Let's, go over the evidence!" Kawata responded desperately.

"Ressa, I think we're ready to cast our votes." Naito said.

"I'm not really sure about all of this, but if everyone agrees then I guess I'll vote..." Morita said.

"Alright! Let's see if you guys are the lucky winners!" Ressa replied. I continued to think. Was Kawata really the culprit? But... there's no way that's true. There's something we're missing...

"Man you guys are stupid." Yamazaki said.

"Huh?" Otani replied.

"You noticed it to, right Hirano? There's something wrong with saying that the culprit is Kawata..." Yamazaki responded.

"What is it Yamazaki?" Naito asked.

"Alright, since I'm not really in the mood to die, I'll give you a hint..." Yamazaki began. "What does every boy in the game room have in common?"

What does every boy in the game room have in common?
1. They're all simps
2. They were all playing video games
3. They're all short
4. They all weren't covered in blood

"None of them were covered in blood." I said.

"But couldn't they have thrown the rock?" Morita asked.

"No, that would be too convenient." Yamazaki replied. "They're in the dark. Killing Shishido would be physically impossible, especially hitting him on the head and sending the puck into the wall." Yamazaki said. Something, my eyes went wide.

"It... wasn't any of the boys..." I said. "It had to have been... one of the girls..." I explained.

"What the FUCK!?" Imamura yelled, grabbing her head, a look of terror in her eyes.

"B- but, it wasn't me! I- it was probably Tengan b- because she keeps saying th- that she's willing to murder!" Naito panicked.

"I find that offensive." Tengan replied calmly.

"Exactly what I keep saying when you say that my father didn't matter..." Imamura mumbled.

"Hirano... how were you... able to come to that conclusion?" Morita asked.

"Someone... had to have turned the music player in the girls room..." I replied.

"Maybe... someone just really wanted to listen to music!" Naito suggested. I shook my head.

"We were all so terrified. I don't think they'd blast music over our voices just because they liked a song..." I said. "Someone did it intentionally."

"Hirano, you're going to make me puke..." Imamura snapped, holding her stomach in pain.

"Wouldn't it be less likely for the girls to kill? After all, they would've had to walk all the way to the other room, throw the rock at their head, and then return to the room. They also would've had no way of knowing when the lights would turn back on, and no way of knowing who they were hitting, if they had blood on them, and even if they were throwing the puck in the right direction." Tengan said.

"No... they didn't throw it..." I said. "They hit it..."

"What do you mean?" Arima asked.

"What would they have used to hit the rock?" Kawata said.

What could they have used to hit the rock?

1. Taser
2. Broom Handle
3. Mop
4. Broomstick

"They used the bent broomstick, to hit the rock into the wall, bounce off of it and kill Shishido." I explained.

"But.. isn't that physically impossible?" Arima asked.

"Not for everyone~ isn't that right... Morita?" Taguchi said, childishly.

"H- huh!?" She replied.

"Aren't you a hockey player? It would be easy for you..." he laughed, almost turning into a manic, evil yell.

"It.. had to have been her..." I mumbled.

"Back down!" Tengan yelled.

"H- huh?" I replied.

"You're saying that Morita is the killer..." Tengan began. "But that is impossible."

"H- how?" I responded.

"Let me explain it to you." She said.

Kawata's Account

Dents
Missing Door
Broom Handle

"The killer couldn't have used the broom stick."

"The broom would've had a very hard time hitting the rock in the first place."

"Let alone making it bounce off the wall and hit Shishido in the head." Tengan said.

"That's why the broom handle was bent! To make it easier to hit!" I replied.

"There's one more thing you forget to mention."

"The killer had to have known the door to the males room was open."

"But there's no way of knowing that it was." She explained.

"No! That's wrong!" I yelled out.

"The door to the boys room was missing. The killer could've easily known where to hit the rock!" I said. Ressa stared angrily.

"Araigu... why wasn't there a door there?" Ressa said.

"EEP!!!" Araigu screamed.

"I... see... continue on then." She replied.

"M- morita... this... this is a lie... right?" Naito asked. "We... had so much fun... why would you... kill Shishido?" She asked. Morita seemed calm, staring directly into her eyes. Everyone's attention diverted to Morita, who's face suddenly became pale. She started breathing heavy, her eyes darting around at all the faces.

"Th- there's no p- p..." hee breaths became heavy, as her eyes filled with fear. She held onto the podium, a sick expression on her face. "No p- proof... I h- hit th- the rock... off of... th- the wall..." she barely managed to get out, holding onto her chest. Her body began to violently shake, as she hyperventilated.

"No, there is." I replied.

What is the evidence that proves the rock hit the walls?

1. Dents
2. Music Player
3. Kajiwara's Autopsy
4. Crushed Rock

"The dents prove that the rock hit the walls." I said. Morita began to sweat.

"B- but, I said th- that Imamura w- was closest... to th- the door..." Morita replied.

"You could've lied... and that doesn't mean that Imamura killed her." Kawata responded.

"I- I-" Morita began, her eyes violently darting back and forth to make contact with everyone else's. "DON'T LOOK AT ME!!! STOP STARING!!! STOP STOP STOP STOP STOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPP!!!" She screamed, grabbing onto her head, as her body shook as if she'd experienced hypothermia.

"M- morita... n- no..!" Naito she said. "I- I understand that you're scared of being suspected, b- but-"

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!!! NO ONE EVER GETS IT!!! SO STOP STARTING AT ME!!! LEAVE ME AAAALLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!" She screamed.

"M- morita c- calm down-" Kawata began.

"SHUT IT!!! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! NO ONE EVER UNDERSTANDS!!! THEY SAY THEY GET IT BUT THEY NEVER DO!!! NO ONE EVER GET IT!!!" She screamed, grabbing her hair, and pulling it with all her might. She continued to hyperventilate, as she shook.

"I... think we found the culprit..." Naito mumbled, tears in her eyes.

"THIS ISN'T OVER YET!!! I CAN PROVE THAT I'M NOT THE CULPRIT!!!" She screamed.

Final Showdown

"SHUT UP!!!"

"STOP STARING AT ME!!!"

"I CAN'T BE THE CULPRIT!!!"

"WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!"

"IT'S SUGAI'S FAULT!!! BLAME HIM!!!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"THERE'S NO WAY I COULD BE THE KILLER!!! I'D HAVE TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE I WAS!!!"

Morita's Memory!

"No Morita... your memory is very good. It came in handy in the last trial..." I said. Morita's face was filled with despair, as tears fell from her eyes, her mouth agape. "We... should end this..." I said. "I'll go over the case one more time. And you can tell me if there's anything wrong with it."

Closing Argument

"It all began when this morning, Imamura and Tengan were having a fight. Naito suggested a party, and everyone agreed with her. But at this other time, the boys had come up with a plan of their own." I began. "Everyone went downstairs to get the party ready, and as they were, the killer came up with a plan. They bent a broom inside of the closet, and took a concrete rock from the path outside. But, one of the boys had a plan of their own." I explained. "Sugai, wanting to prank the girls, took some of the flour from the kitchen and brought it downstairs. He hid the night vision goggles inside of his lunch box, and placed it inside of the closet. Now both of them had a plan. One involving harmless fun, and the other involving death." "Fast forward to the party, the killer was most likely trying to find an excuse to go into the closet to turn off the lights. But, someone else had already planned on doing so. They most likely opened the bag of flour first, an only realized afterwards that they had to bring the bag of flour up into the vent with them. They put on the night vision goggles, and pulled the lever, turning the lights out, and began to climb the ladder." "The killer, realizing that someone had already pulled the lights, began their plan immediately. They turned the music played up all the way, and hurried to the closet. They knew were everything was because they had an amazing memory. They took the broom they had bent, and used it to smack the rock into the wall, hitting the wall and flying over into the boys room." "In the boys room, they were all panicking, unable to tell what was going on. What I suspect happened is that Shishido, being a military personnel, pushed Kawata out of the way, and ended up getting hit by the rock by accident. The rock hir the hat off of Shishido's head and slammed into the back corner, causing it to smash into pieces." "The killer returned to their spot in the room quickly, unknowing of when the lights would turn back on. Sugai, who must've given up after he couldn't pull the bag of flour up the ladder, turned the lights back on. But, to make sure no one knew that they'd tried to prank anyone, hid the night vision goggles and wiped the flour off of himself." "But, little did he know, that his actions had been one of the reasons that Shishido had been killed. We headed over to the boys room, to find Shishido dead."

"And the only person who could've done that... is Morita Yoshie! The Ultimate Hockey Pro!"

"So... did I get anything wrong?" I asked. She was frozen, unable to move, besides the violent shaking. I could feel the tears falling from my eyes. She seemed so afraid... so why did she do it?

"Ressa, start the voting." Yamazaki said.

"Rightyo! Who will be chosen as the blackened! Will everyone die? Or will only the killer die? Either way, it'll be a BLOOD BATH!!!" He yelled.

Everyone clicked on the tablets, staring expectantly. A spinning wheel with all of our faces appeared, spinning round and round before landing on Morita. Confetti rained down from the sky, and a stock sound effect of children cheering began to play.

"You're correct! The killer was Morita Yoshie! Such betrayal! It's so beautiful, you know?" Ressa said, waddling over.

"M- Morita... why? Why did you do it?" Naito asked. Her face remained frozen, as tears fell from her eyes.

"Alright, since the hockey player is still going through some stuff, I'll explain it to you!" Ressa cleared his throat. "Morita was a young soul. Enjoyed the high life of making jokes and playing hockey, but had one problem; she could never play in a normal hockey stadium. It was all because she had one immense phobia holding her back; her Scopophobia, the fear of being stared at. She could never come over this fear, even with how hard she tried. The one time she tried to play in front of a normal audience, the fear got the better of her, and she lost the winning shot. Everyone's eyes had made her lose focus, and she could NEVER play live again!" Ressa explained. "Man, what a PUSSY!!! She couldn't even have a single person look at her without having a panic attack!"

"I- I..." Morita began. Tears fell from her eyes. "E- everyone was staring at m- me... i- in the hallucinations... a- and when R- Ressa said he was going t- to... make it w- worse... I- I couldn't take it anymore. I- I don't... w- want to... b- be... afraid..." Kawata slowly approached her, and rubbed her shoulder.

"I'm... sorry that you were afraid. The hallucinations were to much for me too... you're... so brave... for taking the fall for us... so we wouldn't have to be afraid..." Kawata said, before pulling her into a hug. She didn't answer back, just closing her eyes.

"Ugh, stop being so sappy! We've gotta kill her off now!" Ressa yelled. Morita pushed Kawata back, and stared at Ressa.

"N- no! I- I don't wanna d- die!" She said. "PLEASE!!! LET ME GO!!!"

"Tsk tsk tsk, I don't care if you don't wanna or not, it's time PUNISHMENT TIME FOR MORITA YOSHIE!!! THE ULTIMATE HOCKEY PRO!!!" Ressa yelled. Morita screamed, as we all knew what was coming. The execution.

Ressa slammed a mallot down onto a red button, a little version of Morita on the screen. The small version of Ressa ran across, and dragged her away.

A hockey court appeared on screen, a bunch of Ressa clones wearing blue hockey jerseys. They were all on one side of the court, with Morita on the other. A hockey puck appeared in front of her.

Suddenly, a title card with the words "Frost Bite Rink" appearing out of nowhere.

Morita held a hockey stick, and placed it next to the puck. Quickly, she began to slide across the rink on her ice skates, moving the puck back and forth as she went. The Ressa clones quickly went after her, her dodging all of them, heading for the goal.

Suddenly, she looked around at the stands, eyes staring at her from the audience. She began to fumbled with her hockey stick, barely able to keep the puck in between. Her legs shook, as she began to panic, her eyes filled with fear and her skin becoming pale. She began to fall, the Ressa's surrounding her as she took her hockey stick and hit the puck towards the goal. The puck headed straight forward, as Morita fell onto the cold ice. She stared up at the goal, hope in her eyes. The puck was right in coarse to land right inside, before it suddenly moved out of the way, the puck missing and hitting the wall behind it.

Her eyes filled with despair, as she slowly stood back up. Unbeknownst to her, the clones had begun spinning around in a circle, making the i e fall out into a dark, cold water. One of them took a hockey stick, and hit the puck directly at her, hitting her directly in the stomach and making her fall backwards into the freezing abyss. Hee mouth opened, making her lose her breath. She began to sink, fear in her eyes, before they slowly began to close, her body turning a pure white as she sunk deeper and deeper, before disappearing into the abyss.

The screen went blank, returning us to reality.

"Fuck..." Imamura mumbled, holding her stomach as she almost puked.

"Why... WHY!?" Arima yelled, his body shaking as he stared at the black screen.

"Man! What a rush! I can't wait to do this again!" Ressa laughed.

"No..." Kawata whispered.

"Hmmm? What were you saying officer? Did I not pay my license and registration?" Ressa laughed, mockingly.

"I'm... not..." he began. He paused, before walking away, unable to stick around. He wandered into the elevator.

Was he... okay? I noticed someone walking over to the elevator with him. I walked over to him.

"H- hey... Yamazaki..." I said. I could hear the shiver in my voice. I felt my breath become heavy. "Th- thanks... f- for the hint..." he took a long pause.

"You would've figured it out on your own..." Yamazaki replied.

I stopped, unable to walk anymore. I... couldn't control my movements anymore. I fell to the floor, unable to support my own body. I stared at the floor. This wasn't going to end anytime soon... was it...
