Hey munchkins, happy Friday!!

: I won't be adding any descriptions of their practice for international competition because I want the routines to be a surprise when they actually perform. So instead I added this little bit here to give you some visual of a dance :).

Also the ending is hella cute ;).

Ajax's POV

"Ready, 1,2,3,4" Adam counted off as we started our first routine for competition.

Mila had already gotten majority of it completed with a little help from Lena.

I felt a bit guilty as I realized how hard it must have been to choreograph all the routines consecutively in a short amount of time.

Mila had been persistently asking me how I was doing after the mini accident. The front bender of my car had separated from the car's body. I had sent my car to the repair shop that same night and it was fixed the next day.

The man who hit the drivers side of my car was way tipsier than he claimed to be. When he struck my car, the impact made me hit my head on the side of the car, causing a small cut.

Mila freaked out over the thing injury which was quite adorable. But I did realize how badly I'd scared her that night.

After what happened to Carson I didn't want Mila to panic. So I told Lena to take her straight home, but knowing Mila, she managed to squeeze the information from her.

That happened almost a week ago and  today we were back on track with preparation for Competition. Our goal was to nail the first dance before we had to leave early to head to another studio.

Somehow Mila and I had blown up on social media, mostly thanks to Mila's previous popularity back home in Canada. I even had someone ask me for my signature last week at the mall.

It was really weird.

According to Oskar we needed more publicity so he got us another filming appointment. But this time it was with RDA's own media people.

Mila's social media accounts were still private and I rarely posted on mine. The posts on our studio's Instagram were flooded with comments congratulating and complementing us on our win.

It was a bit weird really, to go from being under the radar to suddenly the two most talked about people in the dance world.

"Ready to go schatzi?"

"Ready as ever mon amour," she smiled, tossing a water bottle at me.

"Ugh you disgust me," Lena gagged, a playful smile taking over her face.

"Hey now, you don't hear me voicing my opinions about you," Mila retorted.

"I'm just complaining about the ridiculous pet names," she laughed.

"I'm just compl- blah blah blah," Mila mocked and the two burst into laughter.

I stared at the two girls in confusion.

"You guys are weird as fuck."

"Shut up," they both huffed simultaneously.

I didn't even do anything!

Third Person's POV

"Nice to meet you two," the director smiled, shaking Mila and Ajax's hands.

"Adam told me you've filmed with James before, yes?"

"Yeah we know him," Ajax smiled, waving at the cameraman who usually filmed the studio's dance videos.

"I suggested the idea of possibly doing this in one take, no cuts anywhere. Are you up for the challenge?" James asked.

He knew the extent of their talent and was confident this would barely be a challenge.

"Heck yeah," Mila grinned, sharing a glance with her partner.

"Okay cool," he nodded, showing them to a separate room.

The location was a nice house with a modern minimalist vibe to it.

"I'm hungry," Mila said absentmindedly as James set up his lighting.

"Me too," Ajax nodded.

"Top shelf of the fridge," James nodded towards the kitchen.

"Cupcakes!" Mila exclaimed in excitement as she caught sight of the delicious deserts in the fridge.

"You're welcome," James rolled his eyes playfully.

"Yogurt," Ajax smiled, pleased that his friend remembered he hated sweets.

"You're so weird, who doesn't like deserts," Mila huffed.

"It's too sweet."

"I'm too sweet and it doesn't seem to be a problem," she said, narrowing her eyes at him as James laughed.

30 minutes later, the camera and light settings were set. The three had been messing around and were finding it extremely hard to focus.

"Wait, when's our cue?" Ajax laughed in confusion as the music started.

"I dunno," Mila shrugged.

"Guys, it's right before the lyrics," James chuckled, shaking his head.

"Oh right. Redo."

Every time James came up the steps with the camera, someone would either laugh or mess up the moves.

"Oh god, it's going to take forever,' Mila said, her cheeks hurting from laughing so hard.

What was bothering her more was that her dirty shoes were on a perfectly clean bed. That was wrong in so many ways.

They finally managed to get past the initial opening scene of the dance.

Ajax smiled as he felt Mila's small cold hands intertwine with his as she led him down the stairs. This was their 8th time restarting the routine and they hoped it would be the one.

Unfortunately Mila had the attention span of a fly and got distracted as they started the scene in the living room.

"Shit, I messed up."

"No shit sherlock."

"Hey, I'm tryin here."

"Try harder."

"You suck."

"You suck more."

"Alright, let's restart," James interrupted, holding back a laugh.

The director had added a new style of dance that neither of them had done before.

Finger tutting.

Mila snorted when she first heard the word. Ajax's dirty mind had rubbed off on her.

It was a combination of switch movements with the hands and fingers, usually matched to the beat of the song.

Mila nailed it the first try. Her partner on the other hand... not so much.

"Why the fuck is this so hard," Ajax huffed, shaking his hands out.

"Because you're not thinking."

She held back a laugh as he let out an animalistic groan.

"I'm getting sick of this song," Mila sighed, trudging back up the stairs.

Another hour passed before they came to the second scene in the living room. It took a lot of control to keep the two dancers from bursting into laughter as they sat facing each other. Instead, they focused on their hands, knowing that if they made eye contact the take would go to waste.

James moved the camera swiftly as the pair hurried to sit on the floor in front of the couch. Mila continued without skipping a beat but Ajax fumbled, messing up on the hand motions.

"For fucks sake," Mila said in an English accent earning a snort from James.

"It's not my fault it's hard," Ajax whined, slapping his forehead.

"You're just stupid" Mila sighed, slapping his arm harder than necessary.

"Excuse me?" he glared at her as she stuck her tongue out.

Haha that sounds familiar.

Stupid fuckin dinosaur! Ex-cuse me?!

I need to get off tik tok.

Mila sighed, shaking her head to rid the random thoughts.

Somehow, none of the three friends were annoyed at having to redo the entire dance from the start.

The hardest part was controlling laughter because Mila and Ajax were on some sort of laughing gas that was making everything ten times funnier.

"I swear there was something in that cupcake," Mila spoke between laughs.

"I know, I feel like I'm high," Ajax chuckled, running a hand through his hair.

"Dang it, you guys caught me," James joked and the three erupted into another round of laughter.

They restarted once again and made it all the way till the end with only 15 seconds left.

"I hate you so much," Ajax groaned as his partner burst into laughter for no reason.

"I'm sorry! I can't help it!"

"Think about dying puppies."

"Excuse me?" Mila gasped, pinning him with a murderous glare.

"Anything depressing to get you to stop laughing."

"So like dying puppies?" she huffed, crossing her arms. Nobody harmed puppies. Puppies were amazing.

"Like me dying of hunger."

"I thought you said think of depressing things," Mila said, tilting her head.

"You dying of hunger would be a blessing," James piped up, holding back a laugh at the look of betrayal on his friends face.

"Especially him hungry for those dry as fuck cheerios."

"The unsweetened ones? Hey those are good," Ajax complained.

"They're disgusting," James and Mila deadpanned simultaneously.

"You're disgusting," he huffed, not knowing what else to say.

"Okay you got this, keep going. Halfway done," James said, moving the camera along with their movement. The two sat next to each other on the floor, eager to finish the final segment of the routine.

Mila could smell his cologne strongly as she sat beside him, her bare knee touching him. Ajax fought back a smile as the final seconds of the song began. Mila on the other hand was grinning as she leaned back on his shoulder. She felt him tap on her ear gently, his arm wrapping around her.

"5,4,3,2,1 and cut!"

"Finally!" Ajax groaned, slightly breathless.

"Yayyy! We did it!"

"Thank God, I'm never listening to this song again," James sighed.

"Seriously though, I'm sick of it. We've been listening to it on repeat since afternoon," Mila sighed, glancing at the setting sun outside.

"Oh no," James blurted, his eyes wide.

"What?" the dancers asked at the same time.

What could possible go wrong now?

"I forgot to hit record."

"What?!"

"Sorry, we can d-"

"Are you kidding me?" Mila exclaimed, her mouth dropped open. She almost collapsed onto the sofa in despair. Ajax groaned, running a hand over his face.

"Just kidding," James laughed gleefully, a cheeky smile on his face.

"Can I slap you?" Mila asked sweetly.

"Uh no," Ajax interrupted, standing between the two.

"That's my cue to leave," James said and the three burst into laughter.

They never did find out if the room had been gassed with nitrous oxide.
It would explain the laugh attacks.

Or maybe there really was something in those cupcakes.
