A/N: Double update my lovelies ;)

Mila's POV

"Success?" Ajax asked, glancing over to me as we stepped out into the parking lot.

"Success," I grinned, leaning my head against the window as I faced him. I had changed back into my black skinny jeans and cream off the shoulder sweater, along with the much needed ski jacket on top.

"Hey, I was wondering if you waned to stay at my place for a bit. I invited some friends to watch the fussball game," Ajax said, the tips of his ears turning pink.

"Are you sure?" I asked, raising my eyebrows in surprise.

"Yeah, the more the merrier," he shrugged, his emerald eyes focused on the road ahead.

"Hmmm, depends. Who's playing?" I asked, a smirk on my lips. Out of the corner of my eye I caught Ajax look over at me and smile.

"Dortmund vs. Bayern," he said and I grinned, nodding my head. Nobody would miss der klassiker.

Fussball, or soccer, was the most popular game in Germany, if not Europe. I had been to a game once before. I had to shower twice because of the lingering scent of beer in my hair. It was still an experience regardless.

Oddly enough, I never did any sports aside from dance and swimming. Yet I always watched whatever sport was playing, giving me a generous amount of knowledge. Carson always joked that whoever I married would hit the jackpot because of that.

"So are we just heading straight to your place?"

"Yeah, unless you need to get something from home?"

"Nope, I'm good."

As we were driving, I noticed how dark it was outside even though sunset was still 2 hours away. Then, I spotted the tiny white pieces falling.

Good thing Ajax had stopped at a red light because I grabbed his arm in excitement, effectively scaring him.

"Look! It's snowing!"

"Jesus Mila, you can't just do that," he grumbled, patting his chest. But even his eyes flitted around, taking in the little snowflakes that had begun to fall.

"Good thing I changed my winter tyres," he remarked and I snorted, remembering how I had to remind him 4 times before he did.

By the time we pulled up to Ajax's flat, the snow was swirling around in the wind. A thin dusting of white covered the floor and roofs as we entered his flat.

"Damn," I mumbled, glancing around the room. Ajax lived in a fairly new apartment complex on the top floor. The inside was a mix of dark grey and black with white accents here and there. A handful of green plants decorated the living area. I loved it.

"So, how long did it take you to clean?" I teased, letting him take my jacket and hang it up beside his.

"Oh God,  hours straight," he sighed, and I chuckled lightly.

"Well, I'll give you some satisfaction. It looks spotless."

"Wow, thanks. Make yourself comfortable. The others should be here in a few minutes," he said, disappearing into the kitchen.

"Mind if I open the curtains?" I asked, standing up and walking over to the ceiling to floor windows. I wanted to know what the view looked like.

"Sure go ahead, and could you turn on the lights too?" he asked, bounding up the stairs to get changed.

My sock covered feet padded against the hardwood floor as I went around turning on the lights. They gave the room a soft orange glow, perfect for the cozy ambiance. I grabbed the silky material of the curtains, gently pulling it aside. I held back a gasp as I looked out the window.

You could see the entire city of Berlin, the lights twinkling in the distance. The Berlin Television Tower stood proudly in the distance as snowflakes swirled past the window.

My ears unconsciously perked up as I heard Ajax's voice on the phone. It's not like I meant to eavesdrop. But like the snoopy bitch I am, I didn't move out of hearing range. I overheard him speaking in a hushed voice and seemed, almost agitated?

"Are you out of your mind? I can't drop her, what the fuck?"

Drop? Is he dating someone? Who's he dropping?

The conversation continued and I heard a bunch of rapid German that I couldn't understand. The only words I picked up were dance partner, competition, and own benefit.

Mila, stop doing that. Eavesdropping is bad. But it's not really eavesdropping if he's talking so loudly is it? Man needs to learn how to whisper.

"It's beautiful right?" Ajax asked, startling me from my thoughts.

"Yeah," I breathed, turning to look at him. He was leaning against the staircase watching me. He had changed out of his winter clothes into a Borussia Dortmund jersey and black sweats. I decided to pretend I never heard anything and wipe it from my mind.

"I turned on the heater, It should get warm in a few minutes," he said, handing me a mug with what looked like hot chocolate in it.

"You know I only drink premium hot chocolate," I said, giving him a knowing look as I walked over to the couch.

"Oh really?" he smirked, opening a cabinet under the TV and pulling out blankets and a remote.

"Mhm," I struggled to hold in a laugh.

"Well, let me know if my hot chocolate meets your premium standards," he grinned, running a hand through his chestnut locks. He watched me carefully as I brought the cup up to my lips. I was about to take a sip when the doorbell rang, snapping him from his thoughts. Setting the cup down, I stood up at the sound of people talking.

My heart raced as the talking grew louder. I was oddly nervous to meet Ajax's friends.

"Guys, I want you to meet Mila," Ajax introduced, switching to English. I smiled as I greeted everyone with the typical handshake.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ruben," the short blonde grinned. Freckles dotted his youthful face as his bright eyes flicked over me. He had shining blue eyes that seemed to twinkle with mischief.

"I'm Felix, this dipshits brother," a tall brunette greeted, punching Ajax's shoulder. He had the same green eyes as Ajax, except his hair had caramel highlights streaking through them.

"And I'm Pia, Felix's girlfriend," the stunning girl smiled as she nudged Felix's stomach.

"I love your hair," I grinned, admiring the purply-gray shaded hair that fell to her waist.

"Thanks," she grinned, a dimple forming in her cheeks.

"Ruben is my cousin," she informed as we all sat down on the couch. The boys had immersed into their own conversation as Ajax turned on the television.

I hadn't missed her outfit choice, a red Bayern jersey combined with yellow Dortmund socks. Ruben and Felix both wore Bayern jerseys as well, clearly displaying which team they supported.

"I'm so indecisive, it's a real issue," Pia sighed making me chuckle.

"I supported Dortmund my whole life until this idiot came along and "converted" me," she sighed, gesturing to Felix.

"Do I hear complaining?" he asked, perking his head up to look over at us.

"Not at all, babe," she said in a sweet tone. Felix narrowed his eyes but nodded, looking away. I chuckled as she rolled her eyes playfully.

"So, how did you two meet?" Pia asked loudly, catching everyone's attention.

"Well, I moved here from Quebec a few months ago for dance," I began.

"Anna fractured her ankle so Mila became my partner for regionals," Ajax took over.

"Ajax told me you're choreographing for Nationals, is that true?" Pia asked, tilting her head.

"Yeah, at my studio in Canada I did most of my own choreographies. I was the most senior dancer so I always taught the evening classes. I prefer it, there's more room to showcase moves."

"I saw your performances during regionals," Ruben nodded. "You're very talented."

"Thanks," I smiled, feeling my cheeks heat up.

"The only thing she's talented in," Ajax teased, throwing a chocolate Kiss at me.

"Hmm kisses, I see," I smirked, unwrapping the chocolate.

A/N: I just spent an hour trying to learn Tik Tok dances while on facetime with my cousin. She's 12 and can do them better than I can 😭. Now I can't stop humming the songs and it's SO ANNOYING, HELP.
