I was sitting in my room, technically Blake's, after being treated at medical. Turns out I was okay apart from some bruised ribs and a broken toe.

There wasn't much you could do a broken toe, it didn't even hurt that much.

My whole body ached and I was covered in bruises, but Blake was right: I'd had worse.

I understood why they did torture training. I wouldn't wish anyone to go through what I did, but today had failed miserably.

If I had to pick anyone to endure being tortured it would be Eli and me.

We were good.

"So you dated him," Eli called and I looked up when he stopped by the door.

"Don't remind me," I groaned and glanced at Eli's cut and bruised chest. He probably had the worst physical injuries, with a few broken ribs and many many bruises.

"Why?"

"Would you believe me if I said he was sweet at first?" I asked and Eli raised an eyebrow. "Thought not."

"That er... Water thing," Eli said and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "You got me out of it. Um... Thanks."

"I wouldn't even want Emma to endure that," I shrugged and grabbed my bag full of makeup. I needed to get to work on covering my bruises. "No biggie."

"When you were actually tortured, in real life-"

"It was a hell of a lot worse than that," I scoffed. "They had no limitations. They did whatever the fuck they wanted to me."

"That's er... Shit."

"Just a little," I nodded.

"You're still going out after what happened?"

"A few bruises won't stop me from enjoying my first night of my so called freedom," I said. "Beth is coming over later so tell Tom to keep clear."

"Daisy," Eli said seriously as I winced when I dabbed foundation under my eye. "Are you alright?"

"Never better."

"Just take it easy, princess," Eli warned before walking off.

"Don't call me that!" I yelled after him.

Half an hour later Blake walked into the room and I glared at him in the reflection of the mirror. "Piss off."

"Come on, you're not still annoyed at me. Are you?" Blake said.

"Highly annoyed."

"I did assume that so I've brought you your favourite." Blake lifted up a bag of Chinese take away and I pursed my lips.

"Leave it on the bed and then go," I said.

Blake smirked and sat down on his bed, taking boxes out of the paper bag. "Chicken chow mien," he said and passed a box over to me.

"You can go now."

"But I'm not," Blake shrugged and opened a box of noodles for himself. "So, what's the extent of your injuries?"

"Bruised ribs, broken toe," I said and opened the box full of Chinese goodness. "And many bruises and cuts. My face looks like a two year old has coloured in on it... It's going to take ages for all these bruises to go."

"I've always said you look hotter with bruises," Blake smirked and chucked a fork at me.

"Watch it," I snapped. "I'm still not happy with you." I dug my fork into my noodles and started eating my food, it making me feel better already.

"You stood up for Eli," Blake pointed out. "With the waterboarding. You volunteered instead of wanting him to do it."

"Why does everyone seemed shocked about that?" I murmured. "Blake, have you ever had that done to you?"

"Can't say I have."

"It's horrible," I said flatly. "No one needs to go through that, not even Eli."

"But you've gone through it."

"For much longer than Kent would ever be allowed to do it for," I shrugged. "I could handle it, there's no way I'm letting someone else suffer through that when I can endure it."

"And people call you a bitch," Blake smirked and shook his head.

"I know when to do what is right," I said. "Even if it is to help Eli."

"Kent is pissed by the way," Blake said and smiled. "I can't believe you dated him."

"He was nice at first," I said defensively. "Then he turned into a dick."

"I'd watch your back."

"As long as I'm not handcuffed and being tasered I think I can handle him," I shrugged.

"Just watch out," Blake warned.

I nodded and smiled when I heard Beth yelling from somewhere in the house. "Your darling sister is here," I smirked and Tom swore loudly.

"Fucking hell," Blake sighed.

"Let's go and make sure she doesn't kill Tom," I laughed and stood up, carrying my food with me as I walked out of the room.

Blake and I walked downstairs and were greeted by the sight of Carter holding Beth back while she tried to attack Tom.

"Beth, calm the fuck down," Blake said and shook his head.

"What happened?" I called and leaned against the wall.

"He called me a slut!" Beth shrieked.

"Actually, he said she looked like a slut," Jack corrected.

"You do," Blake shrugged and Beth gasped.

"You ass! I'm wearing a perfectly acceptable dress!" Beth fumed and I walked up to her and linked my arms through hers, pulling her towards the stairs.

"Keep your eyelashes on," I laughed. "You look hot."

"That's what I thought," Beth huffed and we made our way upstairs. "Why are you in Blake's room?

"Because we have more housemates," I scowled and sat back down in front of the mirror. "You didn't know?"

"Nope," Beth shrugged. "Before I sit are these sheets clean?"

"Yes," I laughed and Beth sat down. "Four new recruits are living with us."

"Fucking hell, how many people live here now!"

"14," I muttered and picked my foundation brush and carried on covering my bruises.

"Jheeze," Beth gasped. "Daisy, why are black and blue?"

"Oh, I had a lovely day today," I said. "Eli and me were the guinea pigs for torture training. I was beaten, suffocated, tasered and practically drowned. By Kent."

"Kent? The hot one?" Beth asked.

"That's what you got from what I just said?" I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Yeah, the hot one. Long brown hair, always wears it up in a stupid man bun, tattoos-"

"Amazing abs?" Beth wondered.

"He suffocated me," I said. "Let's stop talking about his good looks."

"Are you alright?" Beth asked. "We don't have to go out-"

"No, I'm fine. I'm going out, getting pissed and forgetting all of my worries," I said. "A few bruises never hurt anyone."

"Great," Beth grinned. "You got any drink?"

"There's beers in the fridge downstairs," I said and dabbed a variety of concealer on my face, trying to make my skin one colour.

"Beers?" Beth scoffed. "I'll find some wine."

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Knock yourself out," I called. "And stay away from Tom."

I quickly finished the rest of my makeup and stood up, running my fingers through my slightly damp hair from where I had showered earlier. I walked over to the wardrobe and grabbed my dress from the hanger and laid it out on the bed.

I stripped out of my clothes, wincing when my ribs screamed out in pain and changed my underwear.

"I hope you're not planning on just wearing that," Beth said as she walked back into the room, armed with a bottle of wine and beer for me.

I rolled my eyes and picked up my dress. "What do you think?"

"Change it," Beth ordered. "You can't wear a black dress as well as me!" She gestured to her short black dress and cracked open the bottle of wine. "Wear that red one I bought you."

"Red is too bright-"

"You wanna stand out," Beth smirked and walked over to the wardrobe, finding the red dress and throwing it at me. "Wear it. You look good in red."

I rolled my eyes, but slipped into the dress and then took a bottle of beer from Beth. "Did you bring a bottle opener?"

"Shoot," Beth said. "I'll be right back."

I made my way over to the mirror and ran my hands over the dress. It was very bright and clung to my curves like a second skin. My makeup had successfully covered up my bruises and my hair fell in loose waves down my back.

I looked hot.

Call me vain.

I saw Eli walk past the room in the reflection of the mirror and called for him to stop. "Help me out," I said and he stopped at the door.

"What?" He asked.

"Do me up," I said, gesturing to the zip on the back of the dress.

Eli stared at me for a few moments before stepping into the room and walking up to me. "Your back is definitely... Colourful," he commented.

"Tell me about it," I muttered. "If I see Kent I'm going to shoot him. I can guarantee I will feel no guilt whatsoever."

"I'll hold him down," Eli joked and he placed a hand on my waist, the other hand going to the zip. "I don't mind giving Hunter a piece of my mind."

"Did you really fuck his sister?" I asked, sucking in a breath when Eli's finger ran up my back as he zipped the dress up.

"I did. We were both drunk, it was a mistake."

"Blame the booze," I said and rolled my eyes.

Eli shrugged. "Anything else you require, princess?" He said sarcastically.

"Yes, actually," I said. "Firstly, stop calling me princess, secondly answer me a question. You told them to stop, why?"

"Never," Eli said dismissively. "And you're going to need to explain that a little bit more."

"Kent," I said. "I forgot until just now. When Kent decided to electrocute me instead of you, you told him to stop."

"I did?"

"You did," I nodded and Eli shrugged.

"I wonder why I did that," he said.

"Oh, one more thing," I said softly.

"What?"

"Get your hand off my waist." I looked down at his hand, but he didn't move.

"Red looks good on you," he said after a few moments silence and then turned on his heel and walked out, just as Beth returned.

"Sleeping with the enemy?" She wondered and kicked the door shut with her foot.

"Shut up," I scoffed. "I'd rather go and visit Kent."

Beth smirked and passed me the bottle opener. "Don't lie to me," she said and I opened the beer and took a large gulp.

"I would never," I laughed and slipped into a pair of black heels. I winced when my broken toe was squished, but ignored it. Even without broken toes heels caused you pain.

Beth raised her eyebrows at me and shook her head. "I've booked a taxi," she said. "It should be here in half an hour."

"Good," I nodded and raised my beer. "Let's get drunk."
