"Sometimes I wonder why you're not in prison."

I yawned and rolled over in my bed and looked up at Adam who was standing by my door. "So do I," I grumbled.

"Shooting two guys, huh?" He said and I groaned as I sat up in bed.

"You're not annoyed," I commented. "Why aren't you angry at me?"

"Because I don't like the guys," Adam shrugged.

"So if I shot Eli would you be annoyed at me then?" I wondered.

"I don't particularly like the kid, but he saved your life," Adam said. "So yes, I'd be annoyed."

"Damn," I said and chuckled. "How much shit am I in?"

"None."

I looked at Adam in shock. "Say what?"

"You're off the hook," Adam told me and my mouth dropped.

"How on earth am I off the hook. I was expecting to be hung drawn and quartered by Rob himself!" I exclaimed.

"You owe me big time, sis," Adam said and I frowned.

"What did you do?"

"Kent tries to act tough, but he's a wimp," Adam said. "It didn't take much persuasion from me to get him and Hunter to agree to the story that they were talking to you and got too close for comfort. They both agreed that they witnessed you have a panic attack because of their close proximity. Your head was all over the place. You were freaked. Your mind went back to the night it happened and you defended yourself."

"By shooting them," I said and raised an eyebrow. "And here I thought brothers were just there to annoy the fuck outta you."

"I've got time for that too," Adam smirked. "Remember that, it's your story. If you screw it up I go down as well."

"Chill, I got it. Panic attack, I was scared, I shot them out of fear and confusion, blah, blah, blah," I said and waved my hand dismissively. "Simple."

"You're welcome," Adam said.

"Thank you," I said seriously. "I wasn't thinking when I did it-"

"You always act first, think later," Adam tutted.

"I just wanted to make them pay," I shrugged. "I didn't think of the consequences and quite frankly, I didn't care. So, thank you, Adam. You got me out of a lot of shit."

Adam nodded. "Remember, you owe me," he said before walking out of my room.

"So you're talking to Adam, but you're still pissed at me," Blake said as he passed my room.

"You got a problem with that?" I asked.

"Yeah, I do," Blake nodded and stepped into my room. "Since when did you get so uptight? We argue, me and you. We always have. We argue and then get over it, why aren't you getting over this?"

"Because you let Kent torture me!" I snapped.

"So did Adam."

"I don't care, you didn't seem very sorry about it!"

"Jesus Christ, Daisy!" Blake exclaimed. "I apologised! What more do you want me to do?"

"Mean it."

"Fucking hell, stop being so damn stubborn! I do mean it!" Blake groaned.

"Fine," I shrugged and Blake shook his head.

"You know what, don't talk to me unless you want to stop being such a whiny bitch," Blake scoffed. "I'm outta here."

"Okay," I nodded and looked at Blake expectantly, waiting for him to leave. "Are you going to go?"

Blake narrowed his eyes and sighed. "I was kinda hoping you'd tell me to stay."

I raised an eyebrow and shook my head. "I'm going to tell you to get out."

"Come on, Daisy!" Blake yelled. "Can we just forget about this, go back to how we were?"

"No."

"Why the fucking hell not?"

"Because it's rather amusing seeing you beg," I shrugged.

"You bitch," Blake said and I smirked.

"I'm also not happy about the way you spoke to me last night."

"You shot two guys, granted they're dicks, but I'm in charge of this team and you shooting someone doesn't look good on me."

"So you're just trying to cover your own back?"

"Yeah," Blake shrugged. "You've also just got your freedom back. I was surprised that you didn't get it ripped away from you."

"Thank Adam."

"I don't know if I should. How dangerous is it going to be for a wild Daisy on the loose free to go where she chooses?"

"Piss me off and you'll find out," I shrugged.

"Daisy," Blake said seriously. "Are we good?"

"Me and you are never good, Blake," I said slowly. "We never will be good. Like you said, we argue, it's what we do."

"Alright, I'll rephrase the question," Blake said and rolled his eyes. "Are we bad?"

I pursed my lips. "We're not bad," I said. "But you've got some work to do."

"I'm taking this as forgiveness," Blake said smugly.

"Don't get ahead of yourself!" I warned and he smirked at me and turned around.

"I already am!" He called and walked out.

"Ass," I grumbled and rolled my eyes. "Arrogant ass." I climbed out of bed and sighed, rubbing my eyes.

I had the whole day to kill.

Before I killed someone at night.

*

"Morning!" Joey said brightly as I entered the kitchen.

"You're chipper," I commented.

"He's excited," Mason explained. "The recruits get to move onto big boy weapons today."

"We get to shoot live ammunition," Joey said excitedly and I rolled my eyes.

"Get Emma and I can give you a demonstration right now?" I suggested.

"Someone hide Emma," Mason said.

"He only favours her because she still lets him in her pants," Jack whispered as he walked past.

"At least I'm getting in someone's pants," Mason shrugged. "When was the last time you banged, Jack? Last year? Two years ago?"

Oli snorted from where him and Erik were watching something on the laptop and Jack narrowed his eyes at him. "You can talk," Jack said. "When was the last time you got some, prude?"

"Last week," Oli shrugged and then froze. "I... I mean-"

"You've got a girl!" Mason exclaimed. "Yes, man! Is she hot? C'mon man, details!"

"Um..." Oli coughed and scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"She's so hot," Erik spoke up. "If I was straight I'd fuck her. She's banging."

Oli glanced at Erik and chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Yeah, she's great."

"Details, dude!" Mason demanded. "What colour is her hair? Is it long, short? What's her body like? What's her name?"

"Be careful what information you divulge, Mason's getting a stiffy," I warned and laughed when Mason narrowed his eyes at me."

"Short hair," Oli said. "Brown, and the name is..."

"C'mon, we don't keep secrets around here," Jack urged. "No one can hide anything in this house."

"It's like when Blake and Daisy started fucking under the radar," Mason said. "It didn't stay under the radar for long."

"It's because they were so fucking loud," Jack muttered.

"Let's not talk about me fucking anyone," I said sternly.

"Her name's Ellie," Oli told us and Erik snorted.

"Something funny?" I wondered and Erik smirked.

"No," he coughed. "I just gotta, um... I'll be right back." He chuckled again and stood up from the chair and walked out the room.

"So what's it like?" Joey asked.

"Fucking someone?" Mason assumed. "Joey, man! You haven't done it, jheeze, have you been hiding the little guy or something-"

"No, not having sex!" Joey blurted and I smirked as he blushed slightly. "I was talking about shooting live ammunition."

"It's nothing special," Dante shrugged as he walked into the kitchen and dumped his bowl into the dishwasher.

"And how would you know?" I frowned.

"My dad used to take me shooting when I was younger," he said. "It gets boring after a while."

"But shooting a person always livens it up," I said brightly. "It's completely different to shooting animals, Dante."

"Yeah," he shrugged. "I know."

"You know?" Oli asked.

"I mean, like, I can guess," he said dismissively.

"At the rate you're going you won't have to guess for long," I muttered.

Dante shrugged. "I'm good," he said. "I always have been at whatever I do."

Mason scoffed and slapped Dante's back. "Turn that confidence down a bit or I'll knock it out of you, mate," he said and walked out of the kitchen.

I laughed and looked at Oli. "O, I need your help," I said. "Come help me?"

"Watch out, Dais, he's got a girl!" Jack warned teasingly.

I looked at Oli and raised my eyebrow. "So he says," I said. "Let's go, O." I walked out of the kitchen and made my way into the lounge with Oli following me. "Erik!" I called as I walked to the stairs. "With me!"

I walked into my room and took a seat on my bed and waited for Oli and Erik to come into my room. When they did I gestured for them to shut the door and then crossed my arms over my chest.

"So," I said, my eyes flicking between the two of them who eyed me curiously. Oli was more nervous. "Do you have something to tell me? Oli, this is mainly aimed towards you."

"Um..." Oli glanced at Erik and frowned. "No."

"Are you sure?" I wondered. "Erik, what about you? Have you got any secrets?"

"I haven't," he said slowly. "Everything about me is all out in the open."

"Jack was right, we don't keep secrets here, just because it's extremely hard," I said. "So do you guys just want to come out with it or do I have to say it?"

There was silence and I laughed and shook my head.

"Seriously? Come on, Oli, I know you're gay. How long are you guys going to try and hide that you're together?"

Oli's mouth literally dropped and Erik stared smugly at him. "I told you someone would figure it out."

"How the fuck did you know?" Oli hissed.

"Oh, I've assumed for ages that you've been gay," I said dismissively. "I didn't pay any attention to you two getting quite close over the past few months, but it all clocked just now. Ellie? Seriously? Ellie?"

Erik chuckled and raised an eyebrow at Oli. "I do not look like an Ellie."

"This isn't funny!" Oli exclaimed. "If Daisy knows then the others might too!"

"Oh, they're too oblivious to figure it out," I said. "But why should it matter if they know?"

"Because it matters," Oli muttered. "They can't know I'm gay."

I frowned. "And why not?"

"He's worried they'll treat him differently," Erik explained.

"They will," Oli said. "I know they will."

"I'm not," I pointed out.

"You're a girl, its different. The guys are... guys. They're lads. They're focused on girls and fucking. If I come out as gay then they're not going to see me the same. I'm not going to be... manly enough-"

I held my hand up to silence Oli and after a few moments of silence I laughed. "Are you being serious? Oli, these guys are your best mates, they're not going to treat you differently!"

"You don't know that!" Oli groaned.

"I do," Erik said. "I've already told you this, O, the guys didn't treat me any different. You're being paranoid."

"I'm not!" Oli insisted. "I don't want to me known as the gay guy! Or the gay best friend. It's fucking stupid and I don't want it. Being gay isn't a label, I don't want to have to introduce myself as the gay one. I don't want that, and I won't ever do it."

"You won't have too," I said. "You're gay, so what?"

"You don't understand!" Oli groaned.

"I do actually," I said. "I'm not exactly straight myself."

Oli paused. "What?"

"I'm bisexual," I shrugged. "I find guys and girls attractive, but it's not a label. I didn't feel like I had to announce it to everyone. No one goes around telling everyone they're straight, so I get why you don't want to introduce yourself as gay, but you can't hide it. It's natural, Oli. No one should have to hide their sexuality."

"You're bi?" Erik repeated.

"I am."

"How did you hide it?" Oli frowned.

"I didn't," I said. "Its just never came up in conversation. If someone asked me I'd admit it. I'm not ashamed of being bi and you shouldn't be ashamed of being gay, Oli."

"I'm not ashamed-"

"Then why are you hiding it?"

"I..." Oli went quiet. "You can't tell them, Daisy."

"You can't hide you and Erik," I said.

"You can't tell me what I can and can't hide when you've not told anyone you're bi!" Oli snapped.

"Oli, if I was straight would you expect me to tell people?" I asked. "No. I've not told many people, but it doesn't mean I'm hiding it. You, however, are fucking Erik and hiding it. That's not right. If I had a girlfriend that I was fucking I wouldn't hide it, I would tell people."

"She's right, Ol," Erik said softly.

"I can't do it," Oli whispered. "Not yet."

"I like you," Erik said. "But I'm not hiding forever. I accept my sexuality and I'm comfortable with it. You should be too. I want to be with you, but I'm not staying hidden."

Oli gritted his teeth. "Not yet," he pleaded. "Let's just wait a bit longer. We'll tell people we're together... eventually. Just not right away."

"I'm not waiting for a long time," Erik said. "I don't want to have to wait until the house is empty before I can even hold your hand."

"Neither do I," Oli groaned, "but I just need some time.

"Some," Erik agreed. "But we're going to tell people sooner rather than later."

*

"It sounds so quiet," I said and closed my eyes. "This house has not been this quiet in a long time."

"Where is everyone?" Beth wondered as she sat next to me on my bed.

"Joey, Noah, Dante and Emma are all at the Agency. Hampson and Jack both went to get a check up on their wounds, just to make sure they're all healed properly. Oli and Erik went shopping-"

"Have they told anyone yet?" Beth wondered.

"You knew about them too!" I asked.

"Oh, come on, it was so bloody obvious!" She gasped. "They totally suit each other."

"I spoke to them earlier," I said. "Oli is having a few problems, but they're going to tell people eventually."

"That's good," Beth smiled. "Where's my annoying brother? And the asshole that is named Tom?"

"Blake is at the Agency, getting briefed for a mission with Carter and Mason," I said. "Tom is with Eli in the basement, working out."

"Working out, eh?" Beth smirked and I slapped her arm.

"When were you going to tell me you fucked Tom?" I demanded.

Beth chewed her lip and shrugged. "It just happened," she mumbled. "No biggie."

"Don't come crying to me when he breaks your heart," I shrugged.

"You're such a good friend," Beth said sarcastically.

"I am, but not when you bring your troubles on yourself," I pointed out and Beth huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Don't pout, Tom isn't here to kiss you and make it all better."

"Shut up, you bitch!" Beth gasped and I laughed.

"Sorry," I chuckled and Beth rolled her eyes.

"Oh, I heard about you shooting Kent and Hunter," Beth said. "Congrats."

"That's the best reaction I've had yet," I scoffed. "And thanks, they deserved it."

"They did," Beth nodded. "They lived though."

I shrugged. "I expected so, I tried to miss any major arteries. If they're alive I can make them suffer more."

"You're evil," Beth chuckled.

"They deserve it," I pointed out.

"So you shooting them wasn't an accident like they are saying?" Beth asked.

I raised an eyebrow at Beth. "Me shooting someone accidentally?" I said and smirked. "That's not possible. If I shoot someone I mean it."

"So how on earth did you get them to lie about it?" Beth gasped.

"I didn't," I said. "Adam covered for me. I guess we've found someone that Kent is scared of."

"It's Adam, I shit myself the first time I saw him," Beth muttered.

"If I recall correctly, you drooled the first time and shit the next time because he threatened to shoot you," I corrected and smiled at Beth who narrowed her eyes and blushed slightly.

"The lovely personality certainly runs in the family," she said and I smirked.

"Adam is more of a dick than I am."

"But you're more of a bitch."

I debated it and shrugged my shoulders. "Yeah, that's probably true."

Beth shook her head and suddenly there was a loud crash. "What the hell was that?" She gasped and I jumped when there was another crash.

"It's thunder," I clarified and stood up from my bed and walked over to the window. The skies were grey and rain was hammering down, already causing small floods. "England, huh?" I said as light flashed and thunder rumbled a few seconds after. "Gotta love the unpredictable shitty weather."

"I'm moving to Spain!" Beth declared. "Where it's warm, and the boys are hot and where I can get a fucking great tan."

"You do that," I nodded and frowned when thunder sounded again and the lights flickered on and off. "Don't cut the power," I muttered.

"It's weather, it can't hear you," Beth said and I stuck my middle finger up at her. Thunder boomed and Beth squeaked in fright. "You know, me and thunder have never really got along that great," she admitted.

"It can't hurt you," I shrugged and I cursed when the lights cut out when the next thunder rumbled.

"No, but it can scare the shit outta you!" She snapped and I looked over to her, making out her shadow in the darkness.

"Stay here, I'll try and find some torches and candles," I said and fumbled around on my bed for my phone.

"No!" Beth said quickly and I cried out in fright when she grabbed my arm. "Don't leave me."

"Jesus, you scared the shit out of me," I snapped and yanked my arm from her grip. "Turn your phone light on then, and come with me." I turned on the torch on my phone and walked out of my room with Beth literally inches behind me. I could feel her jump whenever thunder rumbled.

"It was nice and sunny earlier," she grumbled. "Now it's dark and miserable."

"You're a trained killer and thunder is your kryptonite?" I said and laughed. "I guess everyone has their weaknesses."

"Not everybody is fearless like you," Beth muttered.

"I'm not fearless anymore," I said coldly and Beth went quiet.

"How are you?" She whispered.

"Still tired of being asked that damn question," I replied.

"Sorry- Ah!"

Both of us jumped when two figures emerged in front of us and I gasped in relief when it was just Eli and Tom.

"Bloody hell, creep up on two girls in the dark why don't you?" I snapped. "There's a thing called talking, its great and alerts the people around you that you know... you're there!"

"Take a breather," Eli said and rolled his eyes. "We didn't mean to scare you."

"But you did," Beth huffed.

"I just got off the phone with Carter," Eli told us. "This storm has come out of nowhere, the news has told everyone to stay indoors and off the roads. They're all stuck at the Agency until it blows over."

"What about Oli and Erik?" I asked.

"I spoke to Erik, they're staying holed up at the shops," Tom said. "The wind is strong, it's not safe to drive or go out in."

"Bloody England," I sighed. "So what are we meant to do?"

"We need to get somewhere without windows," Eli said.

"The basement?"

"The basement," he nodded.

"Wait," Beth spoke up. "Just us four? Alone?"

"You're welcome to stay in a room where the windows could blow in and cut you with flying class," Tom said, "but I'm heading back downstairs."

"Dick," Beth snapped and turned to me. "Basement it is."

I caught Eli's eye and sighed. "Fantastic."
