It was that night again. The night it happened. I could see Michael Moore clearly, above me.

I was screaming and crying, begging him to stop, but he wouldn't.

It wouldn't stop.

"Daisy!"

"No!" I yelled. "Please!"

"DAISY!"

My eyes flew open and I gasped loudly, looking up into Eli's eyes. "Shit," I coughed. I was sweaty and hot. "Bad dream."

"No shit," Eli said and slowly released my wrists. "You tried to hit me."

"Sorry," I muttered and rubbed my eyes, taking long breaths. "But you probable deserved it."

Eli ignored the last sentence. "You alright?"

"Fine."

"Liar," he scoffed and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"The nightmares are getting better. That's the first one I've had in a while," I said.

"No, it's the first one you've remembered in a while," Eli said and I frowned at him. "You get them quite frequently, you just don't remember dreaming about them. They started to get worse after you killed him."

"That was two months ago."

"I'm aware of that. I'm a light sleeper. I think I'm the only one who hears when you have a nightmare. However, the bad ones like just now... I think everyone heard that."

"Fuck," I groaned. "I thought I was getting better."

"You are. You're just a work in progress," Eli shrugged.

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "Thanks for waking me."

"I think the whole house thanks me for stopping your screaming."

"Was it that bad?"

"Quite," Eli nodded.

"Great."

I looked at Eli and frowned. I don't know why, but we have had a mutual understanding the past two months. We bickered and snapped, and he was still an ass, but we generally got along better. We were nowhere near best buds, but he had been helping me.

I was getting better with touch, thanks to our one on one frequent sparring sessions. I wasn't great with close contact, but I was slowly improving.

"Are you just going to stare at me?" Eli wondered and raised an eyebrow.

"You're in my room, if you don't want me to stare then get out," I shrugged.

"I should be the one staring," Eli said. "You look like a mess, princess."

"Excuse me?"

"Last nights dress and makeup is not an attractive look," he chuckled and stood up. "A clown is an accurate representation of what you look like."

"Oh fuck off," I snapped.

"Come down when you're cleaned up, Rob is here," Eli said as he walked to the door.

"Why?" I called.

"It's time for the long awaited big mission briefing."

*

As I descended the stairs into the lounge everyone turned to stare at me.

"What?" I snapped and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Nice of you to join us, Daisy," Rob said. "Take a seat."

I eyed the couches that everyone were squished onto and shook my head. "I'm good here," I muttered and leaned back against the wall.

"Now we have everyone, I can begin," Rob said and I took a note of everyone in the room.

Eli, Blake, Noah, Jack, Mason, Hampson, Carter, Tom, Dante and Emma.

"This is a big mission, it will be a long one and covert. Contact with the Agency will be minimal and extremely hidden. We cannot be caught. This mission could be high risk if it goes wrong. Everyone here has the option to back out," Rob said and looked around, waiting to see if anyone wimped out.

I raised my hand. "I don't want to do it."

Rob gave me a look. "You haven't got a choice."

"Now there's a surprise," I murmured.

"Right, listen in. The aim of the mission is simple. Get recruited into the other assassin agency we are planning to take down. This agency is corrupt. They kill whoever as long as they get paid. That can't continue. You will all attend a high school in the local town where this agency is located. The aim is to keep your ears open and get recruited. Simple enough?"

A murmur of yes's went around the room.

I stayed silent.

"You will each have to perfect your cover. It's vital you get it right. Now, a large group of young people moving to the same high school could be quite suspicious, so you will all pose as young offenders who have put in a group home in exchange for juvenile detention to try and get you back on the right track. However, your group home located in London, has been burnt down, thanks to Daisy who has a particular liking with arson."

"So you're giving me permission to burn shit?" I said.

"Not a chance. Daisy, your cover is simple. It's basically you. A troubled-"

"Troubled?"

"-reckless, wild teenager with a dislike for people."

I raised my eyebrows, but didn't protest. He basically hit the nail on the head.

"According to your cover you set light to your old group home. You got arrested, but have been given one last chance. Now, because the group home has been destroyed, it means you all had to move to another home. In this case, it's an orphanage located in the town of the Agency we are trying to take down. It's the only place that you could find that would accept troubled teens. Is this all making sense?"

Everyone nodded.

"You will all get individual documents with personal details about your cover, so don't worry about that yet. This Agency keeps an eye on the local orphanage for any possible recruits, now we are hoping that a group of young offenders will catch their attention. When recruiting you look for certain characteristics, for example, not afraid of a bit of danger, adventurous, independent, thrill seeking etc. Characteristics that young offenders stereotypically have. Our hope is that they will pay close attention to you and monitor you at school, get some of their agents to befriend you to get to know you and then hopefully approach you to recruit you. Once you have been recruited, that's when the fun starts. Bit by bit we will start to pick them apart. You will be our men on the inside. Now, we aren't expecting every single one of you to get recruited, which is why there are a lot of you, there will be a few more agents that aren't here currently and you all have different personalities so you will fit into different groups at the high school, meaning there is more chances of you making friends with an agent if you are all spread out amongst groups. Does that makes sense?"

"Crystal clear," Carter nodded.

"What about Adam?" I called. "He's on this mission, isn't he?"

"Yes, he's already at the town. He's posing as a teacher again, to try and suss out students that are agents. The younger agents at this agency all attend the local high school, unlike us. We had to make Adam start the mission early to avoid suspicion. Adam will be detached from you, but is there for extreme circumstances in case anything goes terribly wrong. He is in charge of the mission, but the day to day runnings are down to Eli and Blake. You will all report to them, listen to them and do exactly as they say. No matter how hard you may find that." Rob's last sentence was directed at me.

I smiled sarcastically.

"Has anyone got any questions?" Rob asked.

"When does the mission start?" Tom called.

"In two weeks. If there are no more questions the I'll leave you with Blake and Eli," Rob said and stood up, adjusting his tweed suit. "If you have any problems then come to my office."

Rob left the house and I let out a long sigh. "Well, I'm going back to bed-"

"No, you're not," Blake called and reached under his chair and picked up a bunch of folders. "These are your covers. Memorise them. You have to know this inside out, if not, you screw up the mission for everyone. No pressure."

Jack scoffed and rolled his eyes as he took his folder, flipping it open and scanning over the paper. "So who are the other people on the mission."

"Do you remember Penny?" Eli called, looking at me.

"Who?"

"The girl you held at knife point," Blake said.

"Her? She's on it? I thought Rob wanted the best," I muttered.

"He needs the best for the mission," Blake said. "Penny is shy, nerdy, she'll fit into a certain social group at the school. We need to be as spread out as much as possible."

"For example, Emma is going to be herself," Eli said. "A bitch."

I smirked and Emma's mouth dropped. "What?" She demanded.

"You're going to be the stereotypical, fake nailed, bitchy, popular cheerleader with a wide social circle. You never know what you might hear amongst such a large group of people," Eli shrugged.

"Noah is going to be himself as well. The popular jock that tries it on with all the ladies," Blake said and shook his head. "Jack is going to be the science/technology wiz, fitting in with all the brainiacs. Carter is going to be the funny guy that immediately is liked by everyone and so on."

"What about you, Eli?" I asked.

"It's obvious isn't it? He's going to be the cool, dark, mysterious dude that has girls swooning over him," Carter said. "I don't need his folder to know that."

"Just like you're going to be a moody bitch that hates everyone. I don't need your folder to know that," Blake said with a smile and I raised my middle finger at him.

"It's almost as if you won't even need to pretend," Eli said as he walked up to me and dropped a folder in my hands. "You've also got to be arrested."

"What?"

"To get the other agencies attention even more you are turning up at the orphanage in a police car, as if you've just been released from prison," Blake smirked. "They watch the orphanage at all times so you won't be missed."

"Fucking hell," I sighed and looked at Blake. "What the hell are you doing? You look way to old to pass as 17/18.

"I'm not going to school. I'm posing as a worker at the group home who is transferring with you lot to keep a handle on you," Blake shrugged.

"Such a hard job," I said sarcastically.

"So tiresome," he smirked and I rolled my eyes and flipped open my folder.

I shut the folder and tucked it under my arm, planning to read the rest of it another time. "I'm going back to sleep," I said and turned round.

"Try not to scream this time, it's really annoying," Emma whined, oblivious to the glares she received from the guys.

"Try not to talk, Emma," I called as I walked up the stairs. "It's really annoying and makes me want to suffocate you."
