Once I had cooked dinner I shooed Erik and Oli off the table and laid out plates. I begrudgingly laid a plate out for Eli and I was really tempted to spit on it.

But I was a classy lady. Not a tramp. I restrained myself and was satisfied with slamming the plate roughly onto the table.

"Guys, food!" I yelled and placed the spaghetti and sauce on the table with large spoons so everyone could choose how much they had.

I had learnt over the time I had lived with these guys to never decide on their food for them. The amount was never right. A lot of the time they moaned that I never gave them enough.

Boys and their food.

Carter was first into the room and his face lit up when he saw the steaming food on the table. "Daisy, you're amazing!" He whispered and shocked me by hugging me before sitting down.

"Um... Thanks?" I chuckled and sat down next to him.

"Sorry, but I've been living of microwaveable meals for a while," he grinned and spooned a large while of spaghetti onto his plate.

The rest of the guys soon joined and Blake took the seat on my right. Last to the table was Eli who took a seat opposite me.

I should've spat on the plate.

"I missed your cooking," Oli said through a mouthful of spaghetti.

Jack and Mason nodded in agreement.

"You're still not going tonight," Blake said. "Don't think you being nice and cooking dinner will change my mind."

"Blake, you're more stubborn than me," I said and smiled sweetly. "Would I ever defy your orders?"

"Yes," he shrugged.

"You cooked this?" Eli wondered, raising his eyebrows in surprise. "I didn't know you could cook."

"That's because you don't know me," I said icily.

"You've got to make your homemade pizza's soon, sweet cheeks," Mason said. "They are a thing of beauty."

I shrugged. "If you're nice."

"I'm always nice," Mason defended himself. "We're always so lovely to you, Dais."

Tom snorted and the guys smirked as I rolled my eyes. "Uh huh," I murmured and twisted spaghetti around my fork.

"What time are you leaving, Eli?" Tom wondered.

"9ish," Eli said.

"This Noah kid," Blake said. "Do you think he's good for recruitment?"

Eli nodded. "He fits what we look for. No family ties, he hardly sees his parents so it would be easy to hide the whole assassin secret. He's physically fit and from what I know he's perfectly fine dealing with pressure and confrontation."

Noah just happened to be the Captain of the football and rugby team.

Stereotypical popular flirty ass.

Blake nodded and he glanced at me. "What do you think of him?"

I shrugged.

"You should know since you spend half your time flirting with him," Eli muttered under his breath.

"You're just jealous because he doesn't want to fuck you," I snapped.

Eli scoffed. "Sure," he said sarcastically. "I think his type is desperate bitches anyway, which explains his infatuation with you."

I glared daggers at Eli who stared defiantly at me. "I've lost my appetite," I said and stood up, leaving my half eaten plate of food to go cold as I walked out of the room.

Screw spitting in his plate, I should've pissed on it.

I went up to my room and groaned angrily. I punched the soft mattress on my bed and sighed. "Fucking Eli," I scowled. "Fucking, shitty asshole."

Why did this boy infuriate me so damn much?

I took a deep breath and ran my fingers through my hair.

I needed to get drunk and nobody was going to stop me.

I was sitting on the sofa with all of the guys minus Eli. I was squished between Carter and Blake and I was wrapped up in an adorable leopard print dressing gown that covered my clothes.

I was pretending to be really sleepy, resting my head on Blake's shoulder and "falling asleep" occasionally. He was absentmindedly twirling my long hair round his fingers.

I stirred and snapped Blake's hand away as I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. "I washed my hair recently and you're not going to be the one who makes it greasy," I grumbled and sat up straight, forcing a yawn as I did so.

"Where are you going?" Blake asked as I stood up.

"To make a coffee," I lied. "Is that okay, dad?"

Blake rolled his eyes at my sarcasm. "Just checking," he said and I headed in the direction of the kitchen but at the last minute I darted toward the front door and grabbed my shoes I had discreetly left as I yanked the door open and bolted out into the dark night.

Like I had planned Joey was waiting in his car with the passenger door open and engine running.

"Daisy, you sneaky bitch!" Blake yelled and I sprinted towards the car, knowing Blake would be seconds behind me.

I lobbed my shoes into the footwell of the car and dived into the passenger seat. "Drive!" I yelled and reached over to shut the door just as Blake reached the car.

"Daisy, don't be a prick!" Blake snapped and I locked the car door as he tried to open it. "Come back inside now and I'll forget about this."

"Fucking drive!" I shouted, hitting Joey which made him spring into action and drive away from the house. I wound the window down and held my middle finger up as we sped away from the house. "Fuck," I gasped and leaned back in the seat. "That was close."

"Who was that?" Joey wondered.

"Blake," I said. "My brother."

Joey nodded and he turned to me and smirked. "Nice dressing gown."

I rolled my eyes and untied it, taking it off and throwing it onto the back seat. Joey looked me up and down, but not in a creepy way and smiled. "You looked nice."

"Thanks," I grinned and looked down at my outfit. My black skirt that was short, but not short enough to make me look like a slut and the loose purple crop top showed off my belly button piercing and tattoo. "You don't look to bad yourself, mate."

Joey looked cute in ripped skinny jeans and a simple white shirt. He soft brown hair was left to be its usual fluffy self and he grinned at me, revealing his adorable dimples. "Thanks."

We finally arrived at Noah's house and the party was in full swing. I grabbed my black heels from the floor and slipped them on. Both Joey and I got out of the car and I linked my arm with his as we walked up to the house. The front lawn was littered with empty bottles of drink and was populated by a few smokers and a girl who was being sick.

The music got louder as we ventured into the house and I pushed through dancing bodies trying to locate the alcohol.

"Bingo," I said to Joey as we found the kitchen that was stocked with so much alcohol it would shock an alcoholic.

"Daisy!" Noah called and he rocked up to me with a beer in his hand. "You came!" He hugged me and then turned and nodded at Joey who repeated the nod that all men seemed to understand.

It was some unspoken law in the male world that everyone had to know the "nod".

"I did," I nodded and Noah ushered me over to his friends who luckily were also friends with Joey.

"Shots!" Noah announced and I smirked when I was handed a shot of tequila.

I turned to Joey and smirked. "Bottoms up."
