Super late, super short, I'm super sorry!
I've had a bit of a block on this book and my life hasn't stopped recently so I've just not written anything:( I know what I want to happen in this, but it's just been a bit of a struggle to get to that point, but hopefully I'll get there soon!

It is short, but I thought a short update was better than none!

Enjoy!

It was the day of the mission.

I was nervous.

"Stop it," Eli said, glaring at me from where he was laying on my bed.

I gave him a look and carried on pacing up and down my room.

"Princess, stand still."

"Shut up," I snapped. "And let me pace."

"You're starting to make me nervous," Eli muttered and stood up. He grabbed my shoulders and forced me to stand still. "We don't get nervous. Me and you. It's why we're the best."

"I'm not nervous."

"Don't lie to me," Eli said and checked his watch. "We have to be at the school in half an hour. We better get moving."

"Tell me why we have to travel up there with the school again?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Technically we're going to London on a school trip, if we don't show then it cause unnecessary problems. Also, the school is providing accomodation that we kind of need unless we want to sleep on the streets."

"I don't understand why we can't stay at the house-"

"We can't risk Rob realising. Daisy, stop saying stupid shit. You know what is going to happen and why," Eli said.

"I just want this to be over," I muttered.

Eli cupped my cheek. "It will be. Soon."

"Not soon enough," I groaned and stepped away from Eli. I started pacing again.

"For Christ's sake," Eli muttered. "Stop pacing!"

"Stop snapping!"

"Then get your shit together," Eli argued. "You're letting yourself freak out. Control yourself, princess."

"Go fuck yourself," I snapped.

"Now who's snapping?" Eli said, raising his eyebrows at me.

"Fucking hell," I sighed. "Fine, lets go." I grabbed my bag off of the floor and walked to the door. Eli followed me out.

"Hey, girl, are you okay?" Beth asked as I made my way down the stairs. She was waiting with the others by the front door, a bag was slung over her shoulder.

"Fantastic," I muttered. I walked up to Beth and took her arm, pulling her to the side. "Beth, I need to talk to you about something."

"What is it?" Beth asked.

"It's about Blake."

"Oh dear," she said.

"When I was fighting him... he mentioned something about a brother," I said lowly. "What the hell was he talking about?"

Beth frowned. "I... I have no idea."

"I mean, you don't have a brother, but he wouldn't have said that for no reason."

"We don't anymore," Beth whispered.

I raised my eyebrows. "What?"

Beth sighed. "We don't talk about it. When our parents died, after the accident..." Beth and Blake's parents had died in a car crash. Social services were going to separate Beth and Blake, and that's when Rob stepped in and recruited them into the Agency. Blake was 15 at the time. Blake always felt like he owed Rob for keeping together what was left of his family. "It didn't just kill our parents, it killed our brother too. Blake's twin."

My mouth dropped. "What? How the hell haven't I heard about this?"

"It's not something we talk about," Beth sighed. "I don't know what Blake could've meant. It was 5 years ago when the accident happened, and Flynn is gone."

"Gosh, I'm sorry, Beth," I said. "I truly am."

Beth smiled. "Like I said, it was 5 years ago."

"So, you have no idea what he was on about?"

Beth shook her head. "Daisy, you beat him bad, he was probably delusional before he passed out."

"Right," I said and Eli caught my eye. He nodded to the door. "I guess we better get going."

"Lets go take down the Agency! Mason called. "Move out guys, the mission starts now!"

I walked up to the door and Mason slapped my ass as I walked past him. "Piss me off today, and I will break numerous bones in your annoying excuse of a body," I warned, stopping to glare at Mason and flick him on the head.

"Ow, someone's touchy," he grumbled and rubbed his head.

"I wouldn't know why. It's not like we're going to kill your dad or anything," Jack grinned as he walked up to Mason's side.

"You-"

"Any day but today, guys," Eli said, slinging his arm round my shoulder and holding me back before I could hurt Jack. "She will literally kill you."

"It's not like you to get nervous," Jack observed, raising his eyebrows at me.

"I'm not," I growled.

Mason frowned. "You are."

"It's understandable for her to be nervous," Tom called, stopping behind me and giving my shoulder a squeeze.

"But Daisy doesn't do nervous," Mason said. "I didn't think it was possible for you to get nervous."

I narrowed my eyes at Mason and turned on my heel, shrugging Eli's arm from my shoulder and walking out of the house. I got into Eli's car and caught eyes with Carter, who was sitting in the back of the car, in the mirror.

"Don't talk to me," I said immediately. "If you do I can't guarantee that I won't rip out your vocal cords and choke you to death with them."

Carter paled, and raised his eyebrows in confusion. "I... what?"

"She's nervous," Mason explained as he joined Carter in the back of the car.

"Who's nervous?" Max wondered, taking the last seat in the back of the car. "Daisy? Daisy doesn't do nervous."

"That's what I said!" Mason agreed.

I glared at the dark skinned boy who was putting his seatbelt on. "Max, I like you, so do me a favour and shut your trap," I snapped.

"It's going to be a long journey," Eli sighed, overhearing the conversation as he got into the drivers seat.

"And we're not even on the school coach yet," Mason said enthusiastically.

"Fucking hell," I muttered and ran my fingers through my hair.

Eli started the car and I felt his hand rest on my thigh as he drove away from the house. He traced circles into my thigh with his fingers and glanced at me out of the corner of his eye. "You'll be okay, princess," he said lowly, not being heard by the others who were talking in the back.

"Sure, whatever," I grumbled.

Eli squeezed my thigh. "Hey, you will."

"They're right," I muttered and sighed. "I don't do nervous. What if I mess up or do something stupid."

"I won't let you," Eli murmured and he let go of my thigh so he could change gears.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

I could do this.

I had to do this.

We arrived at school and were soon guided towards large coaches that were slowly filling up with students.

"Why didn't we just drive to London ourselves?" Emma huffed, inspecting her nails as she discarded the coaches with a disgusted look.

"Because we're keeping up a cover," Adam said, walking up to our large group. He gave Emma a look. "And our cover is that we're on a school trip, so take that look off your face and get on the damn coach."

Emma paled and walked off towards the coaches.

I smirked.

"Daisy," Adam said. "How you feeling?"

"Bloody brilliant," I said.

"I'm nervous too," he murmured.

"I just want this to be over," I sighed.

"It will be soon. Go on, you better go get a seat."

I nodded and Eli took my elbow and guided me towards the coaches. I noticed Jasper and the others all sitting near each other once we got on board. The seats were in pairs, on either side of the aisle that ran down the middle of the coach. Jasper smiled when he saw me and I nodded to him, noticing how the seat next to him was empty. He gestured to it as Eli sat in a seat across the aisle from Jasper, but before I could make a movement towards Jasper, Eli grabbed my hand and pulled me into the seat next to him.

"What the-"

"You need someone who isn't going to be insulted or care if you're a bitch to them," Eli said. "Especially with the mood you're in currently."

I raised an eyebrow, wanting to tell Eli that he was wrong. He wasn't.

Jasper pursed his lips and gave Eli a look before turning round to talk to Kyle.

"I don't think he likes me much," Eli said. There was the faintest smirk on his face.

"Would you believe me if I said he was jealous? Of all people, jealous of you?"

Eli placed his hand on my knee. "Would you believe me if I said I'd be jealous if you weren't mine, princess?" He said lowly into my ear.

I froze. "What?"

"Of course he's going to be jealous," Eli murmured. "He's just found out you're his sister, and he wants to spend as much time with you as possible, and that's currently being prevented by me."

"Don't carry on talking like you didn't just say anything," I said sternly. "What the hell did you just say? Yours? Excuse me, Eli Reynolds, I think you'll find I'm nobo-"

"I'm not arguing with you when you're in this mood," Eli said. "You heard what I said." He raised his eyebrow at me. "Deal with it."

"Deal with it?" I gasped. "Since when was I 'yours', as you put it."

"Since I'm the only one who can put up with, and deal with you," Eli said. "Tell me I'm wrong? You'd probably have murdered anyone else by now."

"Just because I haven't murdered you doesn't mean that I don't want too," I said, sending Eli a look.

Eli smiled ever so slightly. "Would you kill me if I said the same thing, princess?"

"You..." I sighed in frustration and hit his arm. "You're intolerable."

Eli rested his foot on his knee and shrugged. "Try and murder me then, princess." His eyes twinkled. "I dare you."
