Everybody was gathered in our private room in the house. Agents from both Agencies. Jasper was telling everyone the plan.

I was trying not to make eye contact with Eli.

"Any questions?"

"What if it doesn't work?" Emma called.

"Then we'll kill you before you get the chance to find out," I said with a smile. Emma glared at me.

"I will work," Eli snapped.

"Does anyone have any other questions?" Jasper called.

All eyes went to Carter when he raised his hand. "Er, just addressing the elephant in the room... but what about Blake?"

"We're handling that," I said.

"Wanna share with the group?"

"Wanna shut up?"

"Gosh, Daisy, harsh," Carter said. "I thought we were buds."

"She's just a little hormonal today, like usual," Mason called and I glared at him.

"Are we done explaining?" I said and stood up. "Even if we're not just tell me later. I need to get away from you morons."

Jasper caught my wrist as I walked past him. "I'll let you know of any changes later."

"Add me to that list," Eli said and I scowled when I heard him follow me out of the room. "Daisy!"

I gritted my teeth and jogged up the stairs.

"Daisy, don't fucking walk away from me!"

"What the hell do you want?" I snapped and turned round, looking down at him.

"For you to stop being such a bitch," Eli said.

"Impossible. I'm a bitch to everyone."

"You're less of a bitch to me," Eli said quickly. He slowly walked up the stairs. "Please, don't push me away, there's no point."

"I can't deal with this right now. It's too much," I sighed.

"We're assassins. We're some of the best. We're trained to deal with too much, so suck it up," Eli snapped.

"Why are you trying so hard?" I groaned. "Just give up."

"I'm not giving up on you, princess. Never," Eli said and stopped in front of me. "For once I want you to give up. Give up trying to push me away. It just makes me angry, that's all."

"You make me angry," I muttered.

"Everyone fucking makes you angry," Eli scoffed. "Bloody hell, Daisy, just stop it! Just say you'll stop!"

I ran my hands down my face. I wanted him. "I'm not going to say that."

"Fucking hell-"

"But, I'm going to need your help planning for this mission," I said. "And you're one of the only people who can probably stop me from killing you, so it's best if you keep me company, and no one else."

Eli cocked his head ever so slightly. "What are you saying?"

"I'm saying I need your damn help, now come on, before I change my mind," I said and made my way to my room. I turned to face him when he closed my bedroom door behind him. "You may want to lock the door."

"What exactly are we doing, princess?" Eli asked, a small smirk on his lips.

I lifted my shirt over my head. "I need a break before we plan the mission."

"So, you're going to stop? Pushing me away?"

I let out a long sigh. "Only if you pull me close now."

"What about David Avendes?" Eli said. He leaned over my shoulder, his bare chest brushing my skin. We had eventually gotten round to planning the mission.

"I've got him, on this page." I pointed to a page full of names. We were currently writing down every single member of the Agency. We where then going to work out who we would approach first.

"Where?"

"Gosh, right in front of you, you blind fool," I muttered and pointed to his name.

"Learn to write neater," Eli argued.

"Learn to read."

"Give me the pen," Eli said and snatched it out of my hands.

"You're so lucky I can't kill you."

Eli smirked. "Move up." I moved over on my bed and Eli laid down next to me, on his front, and added more names to the list. I glanced at him when he tangled his legs with mine.

"Have you ever thought about what's going to happen if this doesn't work?" I asked after a few moments of silence.

Eli stared at the paper in front of him. "Don't think like that, princess."

"You and me both know that I'm going to continue to think like that," I said and I looked over my shoulder when my door was opened. I had left it unlocked after I had gone to the toilet.

Jasper walked in and raised his eyebrows at Eli who was shirtless, and me who was only wearing his shirt. "Watch yourself, Eli," Jasper warned.

"She initiated it," Eli shrugged.

"I did not need to know that," Jasper snapped. "Daisy, I've spoken to Jack; he thinks he can sort out something to help with the voice manipulation. That will sort out the Blake problem, now we need to sort out the Adam problem."

"There's an Adam problem?" Eli wondered.

"When we don't return from the trip he's going to know something is up," Jasper explained.

"I have an idea," I said slowly, "but I'm not going to promise it's a good one."

Jasper raised an eyebrow. "A bad idea is better than none at all."

"It's quite simple actually," I said and sat up on my bed. "We kidnap him."

"And this is why you don't make the plans," Eli muttered and rolled his eyes.

I stuck my middle finger up at him.

"So, Eli, what was that about me never making the plans?" I said two days later. It was early evening and we were waiting outside the house Adam was staying in for the mission.

We were waiting to kidnap him.

Eli glanced at me, but didn't say anything.

"Eli-"

"Shh, princess, here he comes," Eli murmured. He grabbed my arm and pulled me lower behind the bushes we were crouched next to.

"Where's Jasper?" I muttered and glanced around. "Gosh, I've got one brother here, but where's the other when you need him."

Eli smirked slightly. "Look, he's here."

"Sir!" Jasper came running up the path and Adam turned around, crossing his arms over his chest and raising his eyebrows.

"Jasper, this is inappropriate, especially out of school hours," Adam frowned.

"If you think that's inappropriate, then I wonder what you'll think of this," Jasper muttered and pulled a gun from his trousers and held it up to Adam.

I watched as Adam's eyes scanned the area, trying to figure out an escape room.

"He won't run, will he?" Eli muttered.

"He's a cocky idiot, but he's not stupid," I said as Jasper's friends, Kyle, Sammy, Ivan and Lee walked up behind Jasper. "He knows when he's outnumbered."

"What are you doing?" Adam asked.

"Don't play dumb, Adam, you know who we are," Jasper said, "and we'd like a word with you."

Kyle quickly raised his hand, he was holding a different type of gun. When he pressed the trigger a small dart flew out and landed in Adam's neck. Adam gasped and stepped forward, but he was soon staggering backwards and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Lee, Ivan, be useful for once and carry the lump to the van," Jasper said and clapped his friends on the back.

Eli and I stood up and I brushed the dirt from my trousers. "I wasn't expecting that to go as smoothly as it did. Everything just seems to go wrong for me lately."

Jasper smirked, but it didn't last long. In the distance sirens could be heard. "I'm sure they're noting to worry about," he said.

"They're getting closer," Sammy noticed and I swore.

"Let's get out of here," I snapped, "now!" Ivan and Lee rushed to grab Adam and we hurried down the path, but soon there was a police car parked in the middle of the road, lights flashing and siren blaring.

"Fucking hell," Eli sighed.

"Hands where we can see them!" The police officer who was driving called when the siren stopped. I rolled my eyes and raised my hands. "Step to the side!" Eli and I who were at the front glanced at each other before stepping to the side, revealing Lee and Ivan holding an unconscious Adam, and Jasper swearing as the police noticed the gun in his hand.

"And this, princess, is why you don't make the plans," Eli muttered as he and I followed the police officers instructions and got on our knees. Another police car arrived and Jasper was surrounded by police officers as Eli and I were shoved to the ground and handcuffed.

"Bollocks," I groaned.
