For the first time in my life, Rob looked worried. He covered his fear well, but I saw him gulp and take a shaky breath. "Dominic, listen to me-"

"You're a liar!" Dominic yelled and aimed his gun at Rob. I took this moment to make my way over to Eli and uncuff him.

"Things are getting interesting," he muttered and I ripped off some of his shirt and pressed it to his second gun wound. I gave him a look and turned back to Rob.

"Blake had a twin," I said.

"He died," Beth spoke up. She was still staring at Dominic with wide eyes. "He died in the car crash with our parents."

"That's what Rob wanted you to think," I scoffed and shook my head. "You just love ruining families, don't you?"

"I've done everything you've wanted, all the people I've killed, all the horrible things I've done! Just to stop you from harming my brother who you don't even have!" Dominic hissed.

"You once did what I asked of you without needing any persuasion."

"Because you're a sick, manipulative bastard!" Dominic growled. "I grew up thinking my family was dead. You practically raised me to be a murderer! When I found out the truth you threatened Blake's life! You stopped me from approaching Beth, my little sister, because I thought you would kill Blake!"

"It's amazing what lies some people will believe," Rob said. I was looking between Rob and Dominic, my brain wanted to explode. I was not expecting this.

"What about Blake?" I asked. "Why does he stand by you?"

"Because of the same reason Dominic did as I said," Rob said. "He found out about his supposedly dead brother, and if he didn't do as I wanted, I said I would kill Dominic. It's amazing what two brothers would do for each other after not seeing each other for years."

I made my way to the end of the line of our agents and started to unlock their handcuffs. Emma was first. I was trying to process this new information. "So, everything he's done for you, was just to stop you from killing his brother? He wasn't actually on your side?"

"He's loyal to you, and his family," Rob said and scoffed. "As soon as he found out about his brother he tried to kill me, this wasn't long before your mission, but we soon came to an agreement that meant I didn't kill Dominic."

"You're disgusting," I spat and moved along the line to Adam who was next. I looked down at his wrists and frowned. He had no handcuffs restraining him. "Adam, what-" It all happened in a blur. Adam stood up and spun round to face me. Pain exploded in my stomach and the wind was knocked out of me as I stumbled backward. I managed to stay upright, but my stomach wound oozed more and more blood. I looked at Adam in shock. His bloody fist was clenched tightly around a gun that was aimed right at me. "What are you doing?"

"I was wondering when you were going to stop in," Rob said. Dominic fell to the ground suddenly, a knife sticking out of his thigh. Adam reached down and swiped the gun out of his hands.

"I'm going to kill you," Dominic growled, glaring at Rob who was holding another knife in his hand. I flinched when Rob threw the second knife into Dominic's other leg. Beth cried out.

"You've been playing us," I gasped. I didn't even want to look at Adam.

He shrugged his shoulders. "It's nothing personal."

"You fucking piece of shit!" Eli shouted. He tried to stand, but his wounds were weakening him. I looked at him worriedly. He was becoming very pale and sweaty.

"How could you?" I asked Adam.

"You stand by your father, I stand by mine," Adam said. "Put your arms above your head, Daisy. And Emma, don't even think you have a chance against me." He looked at Emma who was the only other agent who was uncuffed apart from Eli and me. "Hands, Daisy, now. You may be injured, but I know what you're capable of. Hands up!"

I slowly raised my hands above my head. "What are you going to do?"

"We can't exactly let all of your friends get up and walk out, can we?" Adam said. "I'll let you choose who I kill first, Daisy."

"Go to hell!" I snapped.

"What about your real brother?" Adam wondered.

"No!" I had never spoken so quickly in my life. I hadn't even paid much attention to Jasper. He had been very quiet during all of this. When I looked at him I understood why. He was dropped against Kyle's shoulder. I noticed a bone sticking horrendously out of his forearm that was covered in blood. His white shirt was splattered in blood and I gasped when I saw a knife sticking out of his abdomen.

"He was tough for the agents to control him," Adam said and walked over to Jasper who was struggling to hold his head up.

"It's not my fault your agents have the fighting capabilities of my great-grandma," Jasper whispered. He spat on Adam's shoes.

"Stop!" I cried when Adam lifted his foot and smashed his sole into Jasper's face, sending him crashing backward.

"You're the one who's going to die soon, I think we're better than you."

"Stop it!" I shouted. "Stop it, Adam! How can you do this! You were on our side! How can you stand by him?"

"Daisy, it's called acting," Adam said. He smirked. "You really thought I would choose you over my father?"

"You're the least trusting person I know, Daisy, I can't believe you fell for it," Rob chuckled. "I had Penny and Adam telling me everything about your plan. You were always going to fail. It was always going to end like this."

"Oh, just get it over with! Just kill me!" I demanded. "We both know you're not going to let me live, not really. Just kill me and be done with it. Kill me, but let the other's go."

"I hoped we would be able to change your mind about who's side you're on, eventually." Rob frowned and looked me up and down. "But we're not, are we?"

"Never," I hissed. "I'd rather die than chose your side."

"Very well," Rob nodded. "I had hoped to do this differently, but you are getting on my nerves now." Rob looked at Adam. "Do it, son."

I sucked in a breath when Adam looked at me. I stared right at the gun in his hands. I would not let them see that I was afraid. "Don't!" Eli yelled. "Don't kill her!"

"Kill her and then shoot him again," Rob ordered.

The all too familiar sound of a gunshot filled the room. I felt something hit my body and I crashed to the floor, hitting my head painfully. I struggled to orientate myself and I rolled onto my back and sat up. I hadn't been shot. I frowned and looked at the spot where I had been standing. Emma was on the floor, her hands clutching her throat. It seemed as if she was choking, she was gasping for breath. I crawled over to her as blood spluttered out of her mouth. She looked up at me with wide eyes.

"You stupid girl," I muttered. I could hear shouting and yelling around me, but I wasn't focusing on anyone else. "Of all people, you take a bullet for me?"

I placed my hands over hers, moving them slightly to see her wound. "Is it bad?" Emma managed to choke out.

I took a deep breath and brushed some hair out of her face. Tears were falling down her cheeks and I gulped. "You won't be in pain for much longer," I said quietly. "I can't believe you did that for me. I know we never got along, but thank you. You saved my life, Emma."

"Just-" Emma coughed up more blood and grabbed my hand, "kill Rob."

"Oh, I plan to," I whispered. I squeezed her hand tightly and watched as the life slowly drained from her. I watched her die, choking on her own blood.

She died for me.

Rewind, three minutes.

Adam had fired the gun. Emma had jumped in front of me and shoved me backward.

Jasper, who was in front of Adam, finally managed to get his hands free from the handcuffs. He ripped the knife from his thigh and with a spurt of energy he threw himself at Adam, bringing the knife down with him. He landed ontop of Adam. Jasper may have been wounded, severely, but his speed couldn't be fought off by Adam. Jasper brought the knife down, again and again, stabbing Adam in the chest. He was yelling, screaming. Blood was flying into his face, and he carried on bringing the knife down again and again, even after Adam was gone.

Joey, during all the commotion, had managed to crawl over to the key to the handcuffs that had been dropped onto the floor. He got himself free and scrambled up from the floor. He raced over to Rob who was in shock, watching his son being murdered with disbelief in his eyes. Joey yelled out and tackled Rob, sending them both tumbling over the desk and landing on the wooden chair behind it. It crushed under their weight. Joey felt something pierce his side, but he was only focused on getting the gun from Rob's hands. Joey knew he was no match for Rob, but Joey didn't need to kill him, he just needed the gun. Joey hit and punched whenever he got the chance, but he was taking more blows than he gave. Rob's arm was stretched above his head and Joey reached up, gritting his teeth and praying that his fingers touched the gun.

He made contact. Joey grabbed the gun. With his free arm, he managed to elbow Rob in the face. It was enough for Rob's grip to loosen and Joey pried the gun from his hands. He threw it over the desk, away from Rob.

"How dare you!" Rob hissed. He pinned Joey to the floor and punched him, repeatedly.

It was then when Emma took her last breath and I looked around the room. I caught eyes with Eli who had managed to crawl over to the thrown gun. He had pulled himself to his feet and limped over to me, grabbing my hand and pulling me up and away from Emma's body. I felt the gun getting pressed into my hands and Eli rushed over to Rob and hauled him off of Joey who was now unconscious, part of the broken wooden chair was sticking out of his side.

Rob landed in a heap by my feet and I held the gun up, pointing it at him. "Don't move," I said. "Move and you're dead."

"You're going to kill me anyway," Rob said. He spat blood onto the floor. Joey had managed to get some powerful hits in, Rob's face was a bloody mess.

"You're right. And you deserve to die," I said. I flicked the safety off the gun and put my finger on the trigger. "This is over, Rob. You've lost." I took a deep breath and readied myself.

I was going to kill him.

"Daisy." Eli walked up beside me and placed his hand on my wrist. "It's okay."

"I can do it," I whispered. I gritted my teeth. All I had to do was squeeze the trigger. One little movement and this would be over. "I can-"

"I know you can, princess," Eli said. "Doesn't mean you have to." Eli gently pried the gun from my fingers and aimed it at Rob. He took my hand and squeezed it tightly. "Ready?"

"Do it."

My ears were ringing after the shot, but soon there was silence. Eli dropped the gun to the floor and I looked at Rob's dead body. "It's over," Eli sighed.

I looked up at Eli, unsure of how to feel. He cupped my face. "I love you," I whispered.

He smiled. "I..." He faltered. "I don't feel so good." Eli collapsed in front of me and hit the floor with a thud.

"Oh, hell no," I hissed. "You've stayed alive for this long, Eli, you're not dying now."
