Magnus had suffered through one of the longest and hardest days of his life except for actual bad ones. He dragged himself up the stairs with not even enough energy to use his magic to go faster.

He got to the door and turned the knob, except it didn't turn. He pushed the door with his shoulder and groaned loudly. He really needed to get a damn key! He slammed his fist against the door repeatedly but all he heard was chairman meow who seemed to be annoyed by his knocking.

"Oh, excuse me for interrupting your alone time. By all means, continue enjoying my apartment while I'm stuck outside." He said to his cat through the door. 

He pulled out his phone and called Alec. It rang multiple times before there was a static sound and Alec's voice.

"Yeah, I need to set up my voice mail. What do I hit?" Beep "Leave a message? How do I turn it off? Hmmm. Magnus! What do I hit? The pound key. Which ones pound? Who made this so damn complicated? Why couldn't it just be like speak and then it's done. I hate techno-"

"Alexander, it's me. I'm locked outside of my apartment. Can you come and let me in, please?" Magnus said then hung up. He sank to the floor and leaned against the wall.

Alec looked at his phone when he woke up at one in the morning. He had been on night shift for the past two weeks and finally had a day off. He knew that if he went back to sleep that he would get back to a normal sleeping schedule but he still clicked on the voicemail.

"Alexander, it's me. I'm locked outside of my apartment. Can you come and let me in, please?" Magnus's voice sounded so tired and sad that Alec didn't debate, he jumped out of bed, pulled on some jeans and his jacket without even bothering with a shirt. 

He grabbed a cab and got to Magnus's as quickly as possible. He had even used his runes to keep from falling or tripping. Alec jogged up the stairs and smiled when he saw Magnus asleep, leaning against the wall. His currently purple streaked hair was flat against his face but he looked so peaceful. Alec pulled out his phone and took a picture.

"Shit." He hissed when the flash and a sound came out of his phone. "Stupid technology." 

Alec unlocked the door and was going to take Magnus inside but got a better idea first. He softly closed the door so Magnus wouldn't hear him. He first went to the bathroom and turned on the water so the giant tub started filling. He threw in one of the bath bombs that Magnus loved. He cringed when he saw the glitter and color but the smell was nice. It was soft and soothing. 

Next, he poured two glasses of champagne and lit some candles. When everything was ready he walked back to the front door, opened it, and picked up his boyfriend careful to not wake him.

He laid him on the bed and Magnus sighed happily as he spread out taking up the whole space. Alec smiled at him sweetly. It was impossible to imagine this man was centuries old rather than in his early twenties when he looked like that. 

"Hey, baby," Alec purred and slowly ran his hand over Magnus's cheek to wake him up. "Why don't we get you cleaned up?"

Magnus shifted but stayed asleep. Alec wasn't surprised. He undid Magnus's pants and pulled them off along with his shoes and then helped Magnus sit up sleepily so he could pull off his jacket and shirt. 

"Magnus, come on, wake up just a little bit." Alec purred and kissed Magnus behind his ear in the place that Alec had discovered a couple of weeks ago. 

"I want to sleep." Magnus finally murmured. 

"Yes, but you're covered in I don't even know what. Let's get you cleaned up and then we can go to bed." Alec kissed Magnus on the lips and smiled when he felt the warlock start to kiss him back. He was awake enough. 

Alec lifted Magnus into his arms again and carried him to the tub just in time to turn off the hot water. He made Magnus stand and helped him out of his boxers just as Magnus finally opened his eyes. 

"It's beautiful, Alexnader." Magnus smiled and let Alec help him into the tub.

"Well, I'm sorry for being late," Alec said and pulled off his clothes. "But, this is also for me."

Magnus chuckled and Alec felt the joy like a spear to his heart. Was he ever not going to be in love with that man? Magnus kissed his hand and gently pulled on it until he stepped into the glittery water. The answer was no, he would constantly fall in love with him more every moment of every day.

"I love you, Alexander." Magnus said and Alec realized that it was the first time that Magnus said it first. 

"I love you too, Magnus." Alec was sitting behind him with Magnus leaned against his chest so he turned Magnus's head so he could kiss him.

They spent longer than either of them expected in the tub but when the water had become unbearably cold they finally got out. Alec climbed out first and grabbed Magnus's big, fluffy robe so when the warlock stood up he wrapped him in it and kissed his nose. Alec, in turn, wrapped his own robe around him and they walked hand in hand to the bedroom. They should have taken the time to dry off but they didn't.

They just laid down, pulled the covers up, and fell asleep.

A/N I thought to make up for the smutty *hehehe* one I would give you a super fluffy one. What did you think? Also, I have the idea for the next multipart that I will start this week but I think some oneshots would be nice first.
