Alec's POV

"Magnus!" I shouted from the kitchen. I couldn't believe what he had done; my boyfriend always liked to play tricks but this was too far.

"What is it darling?" Magnus asked with an innocent flourish of his hand as he walked into the kitchen where I was currently fuming.

"Don't you darling me. You know what you did." I glared at him then looked away before he could try to charm his way out of this. He needed to know that there were certain things that weren't okay and this was definitely one of them.

"I can assure you, Alexander, that I have no idea what you're talking about." He sounded convincing but I knew better than to believe him.

"Oh no you don't." I held my hands out in front of me as he tried to come closer. "You stay right there."

Magnus pouted and I finally broke. I looked at him. His makeup covered cat eyes looked so sad and his lips so plump from frowning. I cursed myself and looked away. Don't think about your extremely beautiful boyfriend who is currently only wearing a black silk vest and a tiny pair of shorts.

You're pissed at him. I reminded myself. I would stand my ground.

"Magnus, you need to apologize." I demanded.

"Awe darling. I would if only I knew what it was for." Magnus's voice has a slight hint of humor in it which caused my rage to grow.

"You annoying ass! I know that you did it! You're the only one who would do it!" I shouted and slammed my hand on the counter. "Just admit it!"

"Fine. I'm sorry that I- no, you know what I'm not sorry." Magnus crossed his arms across his chest causing his biceps to bulge.

"You're not sorry? Figures. I'm dating a heartless, selfish prick!" I hissed at him. I wanted to slap that smug smile off his face.

"Now Alexander don't you think that maybe, just maybe, you're overreacting?" Magnus asked patiently.

"Overreacting? Overreacting?!" How dare he tell me I was overreacting? I was going easy on him. If I didn't like him so much I would have just walked out right when I saw what he had done.

"Alexander..." Magnus tapped his foot. " it was just a-"

"No!" I cut him off. "Don't say it."

"Please. You are acting crazy. It was just a piece of chocolate cake." Magnus managed to say before I could stop him.

"Just a piece of chocolate cake? See that was why I didn't offer you any." I hated how idiotic I sounded as I cursed my boyfriend for eating some chocolate cake but it was more than that.

"Right, it was from Isabelle. Fine, you win; I'm sorry I ate it." Magnus grumbled.

"It's too late." I huffed, crossed my arms, and turned away from him.

"Seriously? It was cake. I'll buy you some more." Magnus at least sounded apologetic.

"You can't." I pouted, now that he felt bad I couldn't be as angry.

"Alexander I may be a warlock but I am capable of buying chocolate cake."

"But you can't buy this cake. Izzy made it. It was the first edible thing she's ever made and you ate it before I could have more than one bite. You scarfed down the only evidence that my sister was capable of cooking something that someone could eat, that someone wanted to eat." I said a little too loudly.

Magnus then did the last thing I expected him to do. He threw his head back and laughed to the ceiling. He was laughing so hard that tears sprang to his eyes and he slapped his knee.

"I'm serious." I gave him a stern look yet he continued to laugh and wiped at his tear filled eyes.

"I can't." He blurted. "It's so sad."

"Shut up."

"Come on. You have to admit it's funny. You're pissed because I ate the only edible thing your sister has ever made. You're angry enough to yell and it's over cake." Magnus cocked his eyebrow and I had to bite my lip to keep from grinning.

"No. It's serious." I looked away again to hide my smile.

"Alexander if this is what we're fighting over I really am not worried about us."

"I'd say we could celebrate that you're not worried about us but someone ate all the cake." I said sarcastically. It was starting to sink in how ridiculous I was being. But hey I had been so proud of Izzy and wanted to share in her success by eating the cake. Magnus could have at least had the decency to ask for it.

"I'm sorry." Magnus walked up to me and took my hands in his. "Do you forgive me?"

"Fine, but only because you're cute." I smiled.

"Good because well there's something else that you might be upset about." Magnus gave me a guilty smile.

"What did you do?" I asked terrified of the answer.

"Well I may have put glitter in the washer." He shrugged and smirked.

"Magnus!" I yelled and chased after him as he ran away.
