"Are you excited to have a night alone with Magnus?" Jace asked while packing his backpack. He had been staying at Magnus's for the past two weeks and felt bad that he seemed to always be in the way of the two guys.

"Yes. We really haven't had any since things changed." Alec said shyly. There was a deep blush on his cheeks.

"Since what changed?" Jace asked. He would have known if they had had sex so it had to be something else.

"You know... we started actually dating." Alec sounded as uncomfortable as he looked. "Are you ready to go?"

"Are you trying to push me out?" Jace chuckled.

Right then Magnus flung the door open with a blue spark from his fingers. "Yes, he is. Now please blonde boy leave so I can make out with Alexander Gideon Lightwood."

"Magnus." Alec blushed fiercely.

"I have a name, you know." Jace glared but wasn't really angry, he understood what it felt like to want time alone with someone and he was happy to see his brother happy.

"I do and I don't care; now scoot." Magnus snapped his fingers and Jace's bag closed and flew out the door.

"Fine I'm going!" Jace put his hands up in surrender when Magnus cocked an eyebrow at him. He laughed as he picked up his bag from the hallway floor and walked to the door.

Once outside he realized that he had forgotten his phone. He considered not going back for it but decided that he needed it.

He peeked his head inside and heard them talking so he decided it was safe. He tiptoed to the stairs and went up slowly.

"I've missed this." Alec said in a hushed tone. "It's been so long since we've had time with just the two of us."

"It's been far too long. I almost considered kidnapping you and portalling us to my deserted island." Magnus said in a husky voice and Jace saw them sitting on his bed. Magnus was holding Alec's hand and they were focused on eachother enough that they hadn't noticed him yet.

How was he supposed to get his phone if it was literally half way under Alec's ass?

"You wouldn't have to kidnap me." Alec reached up and cupped Magnus's cheek. "In fact I was close to doing something like that myself."

"Oh yeah? You thought that you could trick the great Magnus Bane?" The warlock's eyes flashed yellow and Jace saw the spark of competition in Alec's eyes.

"You don't think I could?" Alec leaned in close so that his nose was just barely touching Magnus's.

"I know you couldn't." Magnus raised his eyebrows in challenge and without warning Alec pushed Magnus back hard and straddled him. He pushed his hands against Magnus's chest to keep him down but Magnus simply swooshed his hands and he was on top of Alec. "See?"

Alec pulled on the front of Magnus's shirt and kissed him. Jace knew that he should leave and forget his phone but he was frozen. He had never seen Alec look so free or happy. Then suddenly Alec pulled back and laid back with his arms folded behind his head. "I win."

Jace was confused until he saw that Magnus's hands were tied together. Magnus didn't look upset, only thoughtful.

"I suppose I underestimated you, but I believe you did too darling." Magnus smirked and Alec hissed when Magnus ground his body against his. "You see I don't need my hands to get you to do what I want."

"Oh shit." Jace exclaimed then covered his mouth with his hand.

"Jace?! What the hell are you doing here?" Alec tried to sit up but Magnus wouldn't budge.

"Sorry. I forgot my phone." Jace shrugged.

"Hurry and get it then." Alec said.

"Well I would but you're kind of on top of it." Jace finally admitted.

"Blonde boy you are really getting on my nerves." Magnus groaned and got up before helping Alec up.

"Well it wouldn't have been a problem if you just used your own bed to flirt and make out." Jace pointed out in his defense as he grabbed his phone.

"So about that island?" Alec asked after shaking his head at Jace.

"Want to go?" Magnus smiled up at Alec.

"I would love to." Alec smiled back.

"I really am leaving." Jace said frustrated that they were acting like he wasn't there.

"But for how long? Two minutes? Is this your thing? You like to wait until we're getting comfortable then pop up. If we were having sex would you ask if you could sit in the bed with us while you watch tv?" Magnus rolled his eyes.

"S-s-sex?" Alec choked out.

"Of course not!" Jace rolled his eyes back at him. "Unless, what would you be watching?"

"Jace! Get out!" Alec shouted, he was the color of a tomato which made Jace laugh.

"Fine. But he started it."

"You're the one who was watching us."

"Not on purpose."

"By the angel Jace, stop arguing and get out! Magnus stop egging him on or he will end up never leaving and you'll never get to touch me again." Alec was fed up with them and honestly that kiss had brought out his hunger for Magnus; it really had been too long.

Magnus and Jace knew how serious Alec was. Jace scurried out of the apartment still laughing while Magnus sealed the door.

"Now no one can disturb us." Magnus said. "Not even Jace."

"Thank the angel." Alec said and kissed Magnus.
