"You live here?" Alec asked as he stepped inside the house. He took his shoes off and placed them on the shoe rack following Magnus's example. 

"Not really." Magnus smiled.

"What? This isn't your house?" Alec turned white. Had he just broken into someone's house? He was helping this stranger break in. what if he made him help steal? Alec was an idiot! He didn't even know this guy.

"Calm down, Alexander. It's my family home; I just don't consider what I do here living. I'm mostly here to sleep and that's about it." Magnus touched Alec's arm lightly. He wanted Alec to be used to his touch; even crave it.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Alec frowned.

"It's fine. I'm used to it and now I have you to share a moment with. Maybe we can change what happens in this house." Magnus teased with a wink knowing by know that Alec wouldn't get the joke or that he would pretend he didn't.

"Yes, you mentioned pizza. Please tell it wasn't a lie." Alec rubbed his hands together. 

"Of course not, darling." Magnus moved his hand to Alec's back. "Right this way."

"Do you think it's weird that we're hanging out even though we don't know each other at all?" Alec blurted out.

"How else would we get to know each other?" Magnus asked as he led Alec into the kitchen.

Alec looked in awe at the big kitchen and laughed. "I guess I'm just not used to doing this kind of thing." 

"And what is this?" Magnus asked truly curious. Would Alec admit that this was a date or even that they were becoming friends?

"I'm not really sure." Alec admitted.

"What about we call it a date?" Magnus asked and watched Alec's expression closely. He looked confused, shocked, then embarrassed, but there was never disgust so that was a good sign.

"A date?" Alec finally asked. 

"Yes, two people who are attracted to the each other enjoying a meal together." Magnus pressed it a little further as he continued to watch Alec who was, in turn, watching him.

"I wouldn't know." Alec shrugged.

What the hell did that mean? Magnus asked himself. Couldn't this boy just give a straightforward answer? "How about we make some pizza?" Magnus said with a sigh and broke their eye contact.

Alec let out a relieved sigh. He was so confused, but pizza? That wasn't confusing. "What can I do to help?"

"Are you good with a knife?" Magnus tossed the question over his shoulder as he dug out all of the ingredients.

"Yes," Alec went to the knife block and pulled one out. "Oh your knives are so cool," Alec touched it and cut his finger, "and sharp."

"Yes, I like to be able to slide right in." Magnus laughed then looked at Alec who had his finger in his mouth. He cocked an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"

"Oh, just a little cut." Alec smiled.

"How?"

"I touched it."

"Are you ten?" Magnus asked with humor in his voice.

"Sometimes." Alec started to laugh and dropped the knife. He jumped out of the way and slipped on his socks. He fell against the cabinets and slid down to his butt. "Shit."

Magnus was laughing so hard that he fell to his knees in front of Alec and caught himself on Alec's raised knees. "What the hell just happened?"

Alec dropped his head and froze when he felt his hair brush against Magnus's. They were so close. Alec stopped laughing. "Sorry."

Magnus laughed a little more. "Why are you sorry?"

"I'm so clumsy. It's embarrassing." Alec mumbled then looked up.

Magnus reached forward and wrapped his finger around Alec's chin. "You're adorable."

"Really?" Alec asked with a look in his eye that Magnus couldn't read. 

"You really have no idea, do you." Magnus asked with a shake of his head.

"Are you always so cryptic?" Alec asked.

"I'm not being cryptic. I'm being coy." Magnus smiled at him.

"Why?" Alec asked honestly. He could tell Magnus was flirting but he didn't know why. Was it that he actually liked him or was it a game? He had never met someone so blunt like Magnus before.

Magnus opened his mouth to respond but then thought better of it. He leaned forward and kissed Alec on the lips, just a whisper of a kiss then pulled back. "That's why."

"Oh," Alec absentmindedly touched his lips still feeling the electric tingle of when Magnus's lips touched his. "Is that what it's always like?"

"No," Magnus said more to himself than Alec. He had thought that maybe it would get his fascination out of his mind but all he could think of was that he wanted more. Then he understood Alec's question.

"Have you never been kissed before?" Magnus asked him point blank.

"Well, does that count?" Alec shrugged, blushing.

"You are perfect." Magnus leaned closer again. "Can I show you more?"

"O-O-okay." Alec stuttered.

Magnus moved his hand to Alec's cheek and rested his other next to Alec's head on the cabinet and kissed him again. He moved his lips against Alec's and it felt like he was kissing a statue until Alec gasped and Magnus snuck his tongue into Alec's mouth. Alec instinctively tried to push Magnus's tongue out but Magnus swirled his tongue around his and Alec seemed to get the game. Alec's hands moved up to Magnus's shoulders.

"What the fuck?" Jace's angry voice demanded. Then there was a thunking noise, a groan, and the sound of someone falling. 

Alec shoved Magnus away and stood up. Magnus fell back on his ass and turned to glare at their intruder. 

"Jace?" Alec hurried over to his friend who was on the floor clutching his crotch. "What happened?" He demanded of the red head, whose name he couldn't remember.

"I kicked him in the balls." She shrugged. "Magnus, you good?"

"I would have been much better if you didn't show up." Magnus rolled his eyes.

"Alec, what were you doing?" Jace asked in a pained voice.

"Nothing. I fell." Alec said with an apologetic look at Magnus. "Thanks for getting my car fixed, but we better go. We need to check into our dorm and start moving in."

"Right." Magnus frowned. If he had just had a little longer alone...

"See you around," Alec said as he helped Jace to his feet.

"Sure." Magnus turned away from him and Alec left.

A/N Ahhh! What do you think of that? Jace got a little karma right? Of course, he did ruin this a bit, but it'll get fixed.... maybe...
