Alec's head was pounding of course that pain was nothing compared to what he felt on his back and arms. He even wondered if he had died and somehow managed to end up in hell.

"Alec? Can you hear me?" The voice sounded like it was coming from underwater.

"Mmhmm." Alec groaned. It even hurt to say that much.

"Alec, wake up." Jace said and thankfully he sounded a bit clearer.

"Jace?" Alec choked out. His throat was so dry. Next time when they got called on a mission he was going to make Magnus bring them some tea. Magnus!

Alec's eyes shot open and he sat up so quickly that he smacked heads with Jace.

"Ow!" Jace rubbed his forehead. "Alec, you need to calm down." Jace gripped his brother's shoulder gently. It had almost killed him when he finally got to Alec and Magnus. There was so much blood that he really thought it was the end but after the group of shadowhunters had killed off the demons enough that Jace could get to them he saw that Alec was somehow still breathing.

"No, I need to see Magnus." Alec tried to push Jace away but couldn't. He was much too weak.

"Sorry buddy, it's not something you can do right now." Jace gave him a sympathetic frown.

"What do you mean?" Alec's heart was hammering away in his chest. "Is he- is he, ah-"

"No! Alec, he'll be okay but you both bed your rest." Jace reassured him.

"I can't."

"You need to."

"No, not without seeing him for myself." Alec demanded.

"Alec, it's too soon. You're too weak." Jace told him.

"Not for him, for Magnus I have the strength I need, now take me to him." Alec slid his feet over the edge of the bed.

"Alec it's not just that." Jace blurted.

"By the and what is it?"

"He's still unconscious. They think he's in a magical coma." Jace saw the fear and pain etch across Alec's face and he bled for him. "Don't worry. They're doing all they can. He'll be back to his normal annoying self in no time."

"I need to see him, please Jace, let me see my boyfriend." Alec's eyes were full of unshed tears and when a single tear slid down his cheek Jace knew that he couldn't say no.

"Fine, let me help you." Jace took Alec's arm as wrapped it around his shoulders before hefting him up.

"Thank you." Alec whispered.

"Anytime brother." Jace whispered back and opened the door to the room where Magnus was.

"Magnus!" Alec fell to the bed and wrapped his arms around the warlock. He kissed his cheek then rested against him. "Please wake up. I need you to come back to me."

Magnus stayed completely still. Alec kissed him again and again. "Please, darling, come back to me."

"Alec we should get you back to your room. You really do need to rest." Jace said.

"I'm not leaving him." Alec said back and held tighter.

"Fine, just promise you'll get some sleep. " Jace said but then saw the determination on Alec's face. "Just don't do anything that I would do."

"We'll see." Alec gave him a soft smile.

A/N So Alec's okay but is Magnus? There will be one more part! Also, I'm thinking of putting up a Malec AU High school type full fanfiction. Thoughts?
