"He's sooooo cute, Naomi," you whined to your best friend across the bench who is indulging herself in her bento box and your homemade pastries you happily brought for her lunch.

It's been a few days since your last encounter with the pretty boy and his son in the busy street of Tokyo. From that day, you were swimming in admiration and thought nothing but him and his charming self throughout your daily life, wondering how Tetsu is been doing these days after the scarring incident of him being lost.

You only realized it when talking to Naomi at her campus and you promised her you would spill the details of the hot daddy you met on the street.

She stared at you with interest, truly engaged in the conversation and your star-gazed expression plastering your face. Her carton of banana milk was clutched in between her hand as she sucked the last ounce of liquid in her now empty box, finishing with a slurping noise from her straw.

"And you didn't get his number?!" Naomi pressed, almost looking annoyed that you didn't muster up the courage to make a move.

A breath exhaled from your lips in frustration just by thinking about it while you cradled your head with your two hands underneath your jaw. "I know, I know. But I wasn't going to hit on him with his kid there! Plus, I don't know if he's seeing anybody or if he's married. It would be inappropriate to ask him out after he reunited with his lost son."

"Ugh, you should've been more forward when he asked to repay you. Like damn, I would've taken the opportunity and make him pay for my dinner and dessert," she quickly explained which is a no surprise hearing it from her. Naomi had a case of men asking her out and she accepts only because she gets a free meal out of it. In comparison to you, you were more selective on guys and, in her words, difficult to approach.

"Have some decency," You laughed. "I'm not a gold digger like you."

"Hey, as long as they're willing to pay for me, I'm game," she wavered playfully and took a bite of your cream puff filled with strawberry filling. Those were simply her favorite. "Isn't he some hot professional athlete or something?"

"Is he?" Your brow raised and then you watched Naomi opening her phone up as her thumbs rigorously tapped on the screen in search for something. Eventually, she flashed you her phone at your face and you instantly rekindled the familiarity of Tooru's image, displaying various pictures of him in his sport uniform so proudly on Google Search.

Instantly, you were entranced.

You were about to steal her phone to examine those delicious internet photos of him in his game mode stance but Naomi pulled it from your face with a snicker.

"So it is him," she brushed her silver bangs past her dark eyes, then she giggled at your expression, catching you off guard. "That's a look I've never seen on you before."

"What look?"

She only smiled and teased gently, "Like you're in love. It's so sweet~!"

Your mouth gaped at the ridiculous assumption and stammered. Confusion was written all over your face as if her statement didn't make any sense to you. "Oh, please... I'm attracted, not in love. There's a difference."

"Oh, honey. I wouldn't have doubts," again, she wavered, dismissing your denial and paraded with the idea of you falling head over heels for a mere stranger. Embarrassed, you wish for her to stop daydreaming. "Gotta admit though; you have an expensive taste in men. You don't play around with normal boys."

"I like normal boys!" You called despite how foolish that sounded out of your mouth. Naomi leaned against her cheek while giving you an 'oh really' look, a distrustful one. "Terushima is one."

"Yeah, not only is he normal but he's a playboy also," she corrected. "You weren't that into him anyways. You need a real man, [Name], and it sounds like Daddykawa might be the best fit for you."

"Please don't say that name ever again," you warned jokingly, hearing it once from her already sounded disgusting in your ears. Then you added, "Like I said, he may be emotionally unavailable so keep dreaming that I have a daddy kink."

"Nothing wrong with that though," Naomi proclaimed with a shrug and palms up. "I wouldn't blame you. Who wouldn't want to call him 'Daddy'? I mean, just look at him. He gets his hair permed."

"I think you want to get into his pants more than me," you rolled your eyes and stood from your seat to pull your legs out of the bench. Arms folding above your head, you stretched as a satisfying moan escaped from your lips and sighed, turning back to her. "I'll leave you to your fantasies. I gotta get ready for work."

Naomi nodded. "Closing at your store today?"

"Yeah, I gotta prepare for a big catering event later on and apparently the client wants me to whip up something new. I might have to stay after store hours," you reminded which brought yourself a sea of stress just by picturing your night schedule.

She hummed, sending her farewells by fanning her hand at you. "Don't work yourself too hard. Let me know if you need some inspiration."

You took her offer into consideration and smiled at her, waving your hand in the air while taking off to leave the large university.

Early evening began when you appeared in front of your cafe swimming with people entering and exiting through the door. You made a quick stop at your apartment before to change yourself out of your casual clothes to your typical chef coat and apron.

Another busy shift, you presumed, as it always leaves a good feeling within you that you're at least making your sales. Ever since you started your own bakery business, free time and relaxation almost no longer exists to you.

"Evening, boss," your cashier greeted you upon your arrival. His freckled face peeked underneath his work cap with strands of his ashy green hair framing his face.

You acknowledged his presence with a nod and came behind the counter through the swinging door, "Busy day, Yamaguchi?"

When you asked, he was ready to leave in that moment as you can sense the distress from his exasperated profile. "Oh, don't get me started. We had a few complaints because we ran out of our seasonal macarons for the day."

"It's a good thing that we're out," you advised with a slap at his back in enlightenment. "Gotta keep the demand high!"

"Yeah, when you're not behind the counter," he said lowly. "This lady looked like she was going to have an aneurysm if she doesn't get these macarons to her husband."

"Just for macarons?" You were amazed and he nodded.

"She's a regular here so she expects better treatment from us," Yamaguchi shrugged. Telling by his mood, you figured he encountered this lady several times.

You only laughed at the boy's misery during his shift, almost feeling sorry but it was one of the reason why you hired him in the first place because he can take stress pretty well in a comedic way. If only he wasn't part time and going to school, you would've offered him a higher position.

Just when you wanted to converse more with him, the front door rang as you turned your attention the new comers into the store.

"Welcome-" you stopped yourself from speaking at the figure standing in your line of sight.

"[Name]!" A smaller shroud voice called, forcing your eyes down at the ground to see a familiar head of brown locks and caramel eyes widening in excitement. With a simple look at the little boy, you felt the warmth from his face smiling at you once again.

But the taller man aimed his attention towards you after examining the store thoughtfully and hearing Tetsu's reaction booming the room. His hands remained in the pockets of his dark blue blazer as he peered at you wondrously, then his lips curled into a recognizable smile - the one that you've been helplessly thinking about all day and wish to tape on your ceiling.

"We meet again, Just [Name]."

Daddykawa is back.
