"Here I thought I would hear the details of your hot sex with Daddykawa but this isn't what I expected."

Naomi is been watching you sigh over the counter for the past hour since she and Ushijima arrived. They both sat at a table close by the counter to observe your dreadful form, leaning over the glass display with hands cupping your cheeks. It was already late afternoon and you anticipated what your family is up to now, with a woman who has a long history with.

You did your best to ignore your doubtful thoughts. Despite of Tooru's cute spam messages of Tetsu having fun throughout the day that gave you some uplifting thoughts, the sickening feeling never went away at the fact that your beloved boyfriend is spending time with someone who had an intimate relationship with. And you can't help but to glare at the ground, daring yourself to picture it.

"Seriously, fuck her."

You were quite thankful that it's a slow day at your cafe. No one but you and Ushijima can hear Naomi cuss under her breath.

"She can suck it for all I care. I mean- not Oikawa's dick, of course," she quickly corrected after seeing your face stir into worry. She raised her hands up defensively. "I'm sorry! I thought insulting her would do you good."

"Well, so far, I don't think she deserves that," you defended. As much as you want to be civil, Naomi's egging on Rina gave you some sort of odd comfort.

"Then don't worry about it. You trust Oikawa, don't you?"

You sighed, laying your hands flat on top of the display in exasperation. "I do, but I don't think that's the problem."

The problem is; the fact that Rina might take away your title as a mother. Pinching your eyes, you couldn't bare to imagine Tetsu calling her his mom, laughing and eating taiyaki with her. It would be a disaster to you if that ever happens.

Your best friend can comprehend your stress, raising her brows in wonder and looked over at her boyfriend who seemed intrigued into the conversation. He also glanced back at her with the same wondering thought.

Naomi rose in her seat, causing you to flinch at the abrupt sound of her chair scooching back.

"[Name], you're the only motherly figure to Tetsu! You entered his life first. Don't you forget that!" She declared with a fist at her chest. The confidence in her hued eyes brightened when she spoke her words, proving that they were the truth.

With a little bit of assurance, it relieved you by seeing how optimistic she is.

She isn't your best friend for nothing.

You felt an ounce of relief pouring into your chest by her brave words, easing you a bit by slumping your shoulders. A low smile curled onto your lips at her.

"Thanks, Naomi."

"And if that bitch or Oikawa tries anything to hurt you, I will seriously cut their limbs off and die in prison for you," her enthusiasm made you chuckle underneath your breath. A stupid idea that is; you weren't surprised to hear it from her. "Now there's that cute smile."

"I know how nice and protective you are of me, but please I don't want you to be in jail and I would hate to pay visits and see you through a glass wall," you finished.

"Oh, by the way, since when did you drive? You never told me you have a car, [Name]," Naomi gawked at the parked white Scion FRS sitting in front your store.

You were still surprised to see it. When your mom witnessed your grand entrance before you clocked in for work, she was eager to know how much you saved to buy a car like that. You wish it was your own money but you would buy a car that's more practical.

"Trust me. I think I would've put that kind money in a more affordable car that fits my budget," you added which made your friend raise a cunning face.

"Oh... I know what you mean," she snickered while aiming her eyes at her boyfriend next to her whose attention is not on her but his cup of coffee. "Daddykawa is spoiling the hell out of you, I bet."

"Naomi, I wouldn't let him buy me a car even if he wants to," you retorted happily, although it is nice to be spoiled once in a while. You were so happy to drive to work without worrying to take a bus and keep track of time.

Your attention is pulled away from your chattering friend once the bell from the front entrance chimed throughout the store. You were about to greet the single customer but your eyes widened at the familiar figure meandering through the door.

The image of a certain tall gray headed man with a tiny mole at the end of his left eye amazed you, and he held a similar expression.

"Koshi!"

"Tamago-chan?" Then his eyes went to Ushijima who simply sipped from his coffee with his finger hooked around the handle of the cup, not minding him at all. "Ushiwaka?!"

"'Koshi'? Who's this, [Name]?" Naomi turned to look at the man and and then to you. "He knows my boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend?" Sugawara answered with another questionable face, scanning at Naomi and Ushijima who are still sitting next to each other at the alone table.

You immediately felt the pressure and the amazement between the two.

"This is Sugawara Koshi. He's my childhood friend from middle school in Miyagi." You simply explained in short. Naomi hummed in thought while detecting Koshi's stiff form by her skeptical eyes.

"Oh really...," she sang, staring up and down at him with hands underneath her jaws. She said in a knowing voice, "Childhood friend, huh? I'm [Name]'s best friend."

"Likewise," he kindly nodded with a welcoming smile. A nervous sweat drop peaked from his hairline from her searching stare, as if she knew something of him.

"So what brings you here?" Your question made the frantic male turn to you.

"Oh, I heard from Shimizu that this is a known bakery so I came to check it out. But I didn't know you work here!"

Your head nodded, although astonished at the fact that your store is becoming popular. "Yeah, my family owns it and I make the pastries."

"That makes sense! You were always so good at baking when we were kids." With his simple reminder, Naomi stared at his sparkling image in wonder. And just one simple glance, she already gotten the picture by the looks of Koshi and just wheezed.

"Is that [Name]?"

Oh no...

By the sound of that voice, you knew your day was going to crumble away in stress and you peeked at Naomi's jaw dropped at a certain cropped head male entering the store with his hands shoved in his black bomber jacket.

Terushima flashed a toothy grin; a face that never fails to annoy you. You can peek his tongue stud in his mouth when he opened his mouth to give you a taunting introduction. "I didn't know you work here! Must be pretty busy that you couldn't pick up my calls, huh?"

The mockery in his tone is heavily obvious. He must held some sort of grudge against you for rejecting him the last time, yet here he is, toying with you.

"You know this guy, Tamago-chan?" An eyebrow raised from Koshi, averting his deep hazel eyes between the distance between you and Terushima.

"I should be asking you the same thing!" You blurted with a pointed finger.

"We went on a date." Your mouth gaped at the back of Terushima's undercut head by his answer.

When he turned to face Koshi, he finally speculated him with pouted lips and hands at his hips. "Oh, weren't you in that team with the freaky duo and the cute manager back in high school?"

"I told you he's a playboy, [Name]!" yelled Naomi, strangely reminding you of a time when she warned you about him before you went on that date.

Staggered by her outrageous comment, Terushima scrunched up his nose at her. "And who the hell are you?"

"I'm her conscious."

How are you in this situation? You never thought the world of volleyball is this small and you wanted to palm your face over it.

"Mommy!" your body tensed at the new voice entering the room.

"'Mommy'?!" all three Terushima, Sugawara, and Naomi exclaimed in shock. Damn yourself, you never told Naomi about your new profound name.

Your eyes aimed down at the ground to witness a brown headed boy running to your direction along with his dad strolling behind him with a wide smile. A miniature plastic bag is found in Tetsu's clutched hand and raised it up for you to see.

"Look, Mommy! I picked the biggest strawberries just for you," his mouth formed into a 'V' shape with smiling eyes, unaware of the scene he stepped in.

You were about to make a statement while signaling a finger up, but you were silenced by a pair of eagered lips and arms wrapping around your legs, lifting you up so your toes were off the floor. Embarrassed by the dramatic welcome, you can feel all eyes in the room trailing to your direction.

Once Tooru settled you down, he presented the yellow and crimson red sunflowers wrapped in brown paper with gentleness on his face. "For you, my love."

"Oh ho ho ho...," snickered Naomi with a hand at her mouth.

"I- um...," you were speechless, feeling your face getting warm by the romantic act in front of your peers. He can sense your back tending underneath his hand, and then wandered his eyes at the attentive audience. His curiosity disappeared, like he didn't know people were there in the first place.

Sugawara blinked. "Oikawa?"

"Mr. Refreshing?"

"[Name]! You popped out a kid within the past two months you've been ignoring me?" confronted Terushima with a look of disapproval, staring wide eyed at the innocent boy trying to read the room.

By the outburst, the doors from the kitchen were pushed by your mom who stumbled into the main room to find your dysfunctional crowd and Tooru draping his arm over your neck. "[Name]! You kept a child and a husband from me all these years and didn't say anything?!"

Your jaw dropped. "Mom!"

"You got married, too?" Terushima continued. Another shocking assumption spewed out of his mouth without thinking.

"You're married, [Name]? You didn't say that earlier." Even Sugawara seemed to believe it, seeing the bewilderment on his profile.

For some reason when Tooru heard the distraught in his tone, he arched a brow suspiciously with a low pout. His voice was directed at you while he carefully studied the gray headed man's smaller form. "Sweetie, what's your relationship with Mr. Refreshing and how does he know you?"

"Why do you keep calling him that?" you uttered.

"Kid, are you going to Shiratorizawa unlike your dumb father?"

"Ung?" Tetsu tilted his head at Ushijima who stood right in front of him, towering him with a menacing frown. The toddler blinked at his stoic face before he turned to Tooru. "Daddy, what's Shoritoriwaka?"

"It's not a place for you, Tetsu!" he warned with a face full of annoyance.

"This is the vanilla-looking tool you left me hanging for?" Terushima aimed his brown eyes at your boyfriend. The envy look in his pools never goes unnoticed as you felt the electrical sparks shooting out of their eyes.

Instead of making a rational comment, Tooru curled the corner of his lips into a smirk while tightening his arm that's around your shoulders.

"Sorry, boys! She's off the market," he declared with the sound of authority, now holding his hips proudly. "You won't stand a chance. Hah!"

The heat in the room just gotten warmer when both Terushima and Sugawara scowled quietly at Tooru's cocky attitude. You almost wanted to join but you only gave a hum in distaste, bringing Tetsu closer to your leg to shield him from the childish display.

"Says who?" glared Terushima.

"Says her future husband and baby daddy, that's who. Isn't that right, darling?"

Twitching your head, your mouth opened in disbelief when the brunette smiled over his shoulder to you. "I didn't say 'yes' yet!"

He held your face playfully so your eyes stared back into his darkening pupils. "So do you want me to propose now? Just to get it over with."

Despite your lips forming a thin line, an obvious vein pulsated on your forehead at the ridiculous scenario. You knew he meant that as a joke, or perhaps not, but you were so sick of everyone's theatrical act.

"Okay, everybody out!"

Naomi was the last to leave the store after the comical scene. That had to be the last straw you see of Terushima; never again you want to see that kind of behavior around you and your family. As for Koshi, you owe him a day to hang out.

The rest of your shift didn't feel like work anymore now that Tooru and Tetsu were happy to wait for you until you're done. In the meanwhile, your mother was eager to meet your boyfriend and his son officially. He did you a favor and explained through the misunderstandings to her.

The best part is her meeting Tetsu and you knew that he was going to win her heart immediately. He was shy, of course, but after knowing that she is your mom, he came out of his shell just for her.

"It's Ba-chan!" he gleefully pointed at your mother who had her hands over her knees.

Your mother squealed. The day has finally come that she's called a grandma.

"I like them, [Name]," she whispered, walking over to you after clocking out of your shift and hoisting your purse over your shoulder. "They should come over. I'm sure your dad will love them too."

"We both know that dad will be giving Tooru a hard time," you chuckled although she shook your head at your assumption. But your predicament is correct. Your father would be tough on a man such as Oikawa who is a professional volleyball player, a model, and a father.

"I promise to tell him to take it easy," she joined with a small smile. "Make sure my little grandchild is being fed well. And text me if he ever needs anything"

You gave a wry smile at her. It's only been a few minutes since they met and she's already entitled to be a grandma. "Okay, okay. I'm going now."

Both Tooru and Tetsu waited for you outside of the store nearby the white Scion FRS as the golden hour sunset painted the streets orange. Once you approached them, Tooru had his hand out to you. "I can drive us."

With a simple nod, you dropped his car key into his hand before you knelt in front of Tetsu to carry him in your arms. He wasn't aware of the second car his dad owns, blinking his wide eyes when Tooru opened the driver side and pulled the seat forward for Tetsu to get seated.

Tooru was right. A kid his age is not suited to be strapped in a car like this.

"Where's Rina?" you quietly asked after safely buckling the boy in his seat.

"She left," he stated flatly, then he shut the door and faced you with assuring eyes. "I'll tell you the rest when we get home, okay?"

You were a bit hesitance, remembering the last time he kept something from you until the end of the night. At least, he's informing you now and probably didn't want to discuss it in front of Tetsu.

You sighed, "Okay."

He seemed to like your answer with an amusing smile broke out of him. Your impatience went away when he pecked at your lips and guided you to the passenger side with his hand at your lower back, opening your door.

You two adjusted in your seats before Tooru ignited the rumbling ignitions and drove down the street to his penthouse. On the way, in matter of minutes, you peeked over your seat to find the little Oikawa knocked out in the back with his head leaning against the seatbelt. His mouth was wide open with a drop of drool oozing from the corner of his lips.

It was such a cute sight, you can't help but to take a little photo of him.

"Long day, huh?" you asked while glancing at the picture you took.

Tooru's hand reached past the gearstick to give your thigh a firm squeeze, petting it up and down. His eyes were kept on the road. "You have no idea."

You tried to find anything guilt in his tone, but there was nothing. It was a relief but you still anticipated the upcoming conversation once you get home.

It didn't take long for the three of you to enter through the garage to the apartment building. Tooru pulled in slowly which made the car rock, causing Tetsu to wake up in the middle of his nap and rub his sleepy eyes.

He scanned around the vehicle and looked through the window in a groggy voice. "Are we home yet?"

"We're here, baby," you assured, unfastening yourself once Tooru parked in his assigned spot and the engine silenced when he turned the ignition off.

Tooru pulled his seat to get Tetsu out of the car before he walked to pull on your door, and you obliged to carry his boy for him so he could carry the bag of strawberries and your sunflower bouquet. The second he was in your arms, he cuddled against your neck desperately.

"I missed you, Mommy. I wish you came with us," he said so innocently.

Your earlier worries came to your attention again. But Tetsu's wholesome love for you defeated it. His words are a lot more significant to you more than it should, as you wrapped your arms tighter around him.

While you weren't there, he still thought about you.

"I know. I missed you, too. You must've been lonely, huh?" you laid your chin on top of his head.

You resisted yourself from smiling but Tetsu pulled his head to look up at you happily. "It's okay! Ri-chan made it fun and she helped me picked strawberries."

Then your smile dropped. You didn't say anything for a minute until Tooru led you to his room number, inserting his key for you and Tetsu to enter inside. Your face remained still, but you managed to ease into the conversation without making it apparent that you were bothered by it.

"Really? What do you think of her?" you wished you didn't ask, but you wanted to know what his impression is of her.

Tetsu hummed, watching you help him take his shoes off at the front door before he was put down on the wooden floor. A wide grin stretched on his face. "She's nice and pretty!"

Somehow, that didn't surprise you. Even kids such as Tetsu find her beautiful. That could be the reason why he was easygoing with her at first sight.

But his next statement surprised you.

"But Mommy is prettier! That's why you're my mommy."

Tooru turned in the middle of putting away the strawberries in the kitchen once he heard his son's assertion, and smiled. "Isn't that right?"

"Yeah!" Tetsu grinned again with arms stretched behind him.

"Wash up, Tetsu, so we can start making dinner," he instructed while washing the strawberries in the sink.

Nodding, the smaller Oikawa ran to his room to change his clothes first before storming into the bathroom. Tooru washed his hands, throwing the small droplets of water in the sink and then wiping them in a dry towel. He sauntered his way to you and brought your head to his puckered lips.

"Didn't I promise that he wouldn't forget you?" he teased and you shoved his shoulder light as laughter sang from him at your embarrassment.

"Don't get too cocky, sir. You still have some explaining to do," you warned, yet it didn't threaten him. Seeing the
