September's POV
As we pulled up to the house, I noticed that Noah had fallen asleep. He had a little bit of ice cream on his face that was about ready to drip onto the floor.

I used my sleeve to gently wipe his face off, trying not to wake him, and failing. Noah's eyes fluttered open and he whined, pushing my hands away from his face, some ice cream still on it.

"I'm just trying to get the sticky stuff off of your face," I explained to him, trying to wipe his face off again.

"Nuh," he replied, swinging his hands at me. It was clear he was still super tired. Perhaps it was nap time.

Tyler opened the car door and helped me out, then he lifted Noah up into his arms, knowing full well that he'd have protested if he had had to walk up to the house himself.

I took the house keys from Tyler's hand, unlocking the door for him.

"Thanks," he told me over his shoulder as he opened the door, letting me walk in first and then taking the keys out of the doors lock.

"Uh huh," I replied, sitting down on the couch.

Tyler set Noah down next to me and went into the kitchen to grab a wash cloth. I heard the water running and soon Tyler returned with a wet rag.

He grabbed Noah's chin to hold his face in place, and wiped his face gently with the cloth.

Noah whined but didn't protest as much as he had with me in the car.

"I have to do some stuff for work. I'll be in the kitchen at the table, if either of you need anything," Tyler explained. "Seph, you're in charge for now."

In charge? Me? Hah. I never would have thought I'd end up being in charge of anyone. I'm normally the one people are in charge of.

Tyler started to leave the room and Noah bounced up and down on the couch, making grabby hands at him.

  "Daddy!" He whined, pouting.

"I have to work Bub, play with Sephy."

"Nuh!" Noah whined in return, bouncing up and down again.

"I think he needs a nap," I suggested to Tyler.

"I think you're right," Tyler agreed with me, causing Noah to start screaming.

"I don't need a nap! I'm not a baby!" He whined, slamming his fists down on his legs and wincing as his side rubbed against the couch.

Tyler looked exhausted and I knew he needed to do some stuff for work since he was now working basically from home.

"Noah, how about we go into daddy's room and watch a movie?" I suggested, hoping to god he would agree.

Noah stopped protesting and nodded, making grabby hands at me. I lifted him up gently, being very cautious of his side as I carried him into the guest room, which had now become Tyler's.

I laid him gently on the messy bed, and handed him one of his pacifiers that sat on the side dresser. He accepted the pastel pink paci and quickly began sucking on it.

"I'll be right back, choose a movie," I told him, setting a few DVDs in front of him.

I went into the kitchen where Tyler sat, hunched over his work laptop and trying to read something. He had his reading glasses on and I couldn't help but 'aw' at his appearance.

"What do you need, babe?" He asked me. The pet name sounded even better when I wasn't in littlespace.

"I was just wondering if you could make Noah some warm milk in his Dora Sippy cup? I think it would help him fall asleep," I asked him.

"Sure," he replied, heading over to the cabinet.

I returned to Tyler's room and sat on the bed. Noah held up 'The Jungle Book'. I took it from him and put the CD in the side of our flat screen, pressing play on the remote.

I picked up a small pink lamb stuffie that Tyler had bought Noah a few weeks ago, and set it in his arms. He smiled at me and snuggled the lamb to his chest, pulling the thin sheet on the bed over himself and the stuffie.

I climbed into the bed next to him, wrapping an arm around him but not pressing myself against him. I didn't want to rub against his side and have him get all worked up again.

A few minutes into the movie Tyler came in with Noah's milk. I took out Noah's pacifier and set it on the side dresser, slipping the top of the sippy cup into his mouth.

He instantly started to show signs of being sleepier as he drank the milk, much like I knew he would.

To make it harder for him to stay awake, I started to stroke his hair for him; Something Tyler used to do to me to help me sleep after I had a nightmare.

It hadn't been my plan to fall asleep as well but I guess today had just been that stressful because eventually after finally getting Noah to fall asleep, I felt my own eyelids droop until I was left in darkness.

Tyler's POV
After finishing up a little of my work, I looked at the clock. Around three hours had passed and September still hadn't come back out of my room.

The movie should have been well over by now, and Noah should have fallen asleep.

Out of curiosity, I lifted myself out of my chair and walked into the bedroom to find my two beautiful boys sleeping; nice and cuddled up against each other.

I clicked the TV off and started to make dinner knowing full well that both boys would be hungry when they woke up.

Im so fricking sorry for lack of updates. I'm still sick. Af. And stressed with school. But here's an update anyway. It's a bad one but it's still an update and I know a lot of you have been wanting one.

I also really want to write other books but I feel obligated to finish this one first. I just dunno how to give a good ending to this one.
