"Are you guys DarthRaider81 and RaptorSlasher93?" The figure shouted.

"Uh, yes?" I said. "You mind coming here?"

The player stepped out of the shadows and started making her way towards us, and we finally got a good look at her.

She was wearing a brown sweater that said "WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW CAN'T HURT", with blue faded jeans, and red and white sneakers. She had a reasonably kind smile, so maybe she wouldn't be too bad.

She eventually sat down next to Jon, and I decided to be nice and introduce Jon and myself.

"Hi, I'm RaptorSlasher93, and this is DarthRaider81," I said to her, to which Jon waved at her. "What's yours?"

"Oh, I'm Eclipse," She stuck out her hand. "Nice to meet you two."

I shook her hand twice, before she offered hers to Jon, and did the same thing.

"So, Eclipse," Jon said. "Why don't you tell us more about yourself?" He paused for a moment and corrected himself. "I mean, in CyberWorld."

Eclipse let out a giggle, and replied "Later, I promise. We can all do introductions once everyone arrives."

"Speaking of the rest of the team," I said. "I think someone else is here."

Another player walked out of the hallway-who was definitely male-and shouted "WHAT UP, BITCHES?"

"Oh crap," Eclipse mumbled, as I buried my face in my hands in embarrassment.

"Come over here!" Jon shouted. Even though Jon sounded fine, I knew him well enough to know that he was trying not to cringe.

The player rushed over and sat down next to me, and I shifted myself away from him as far as possible. Suddenly, the sound of a ship flying above us could be heard, and when we all looked up, we saw one landing on the field.

"That must be another one of them," I said, to which Jon and Eclipse nodded in reply.

A ramp extended from under the ship, and a player dressed in a long dark coat walked out, giving us a quick glance, and starting tapping on his Wristool Watch, perhaps to check his ship's stats.

At that same moment, a female player appeared out of the hallway , wearing a white mid-sleeve shirt with purple sleeves, with a rainbow (symbol/logo) printed on it. When she saw everyone at the seats, she instinctively took a seat in the row in front of us, but turned her upper body backwards slightly so that she was mostly facing us.

"Hey dude!" The guy next to me yelled, referring to the player on the field. "Mind if you do that stuff later?"

The player didn't reply, but tapped his Wristool Watch a few more times, before approaching us. I thought he wanted to sit down, so I moved my legs to the left in order for him to pass. Instead, he stood on the stairs, and placed his hands in the pockets of his coat.

"Alright, man, you should probably start," He said to Jon. "I need to leave soon," Whether he meant CyberWorld, or his real life, he didn't specify.

"Okay," Jon said, "Hey everyone, welcome to the team. I'm DarthRaider81, and this is RaptorSlasher93. We're going to introduce ourselves, so please state your name, level-if you like, and things you like to do in CyberWorld. Why don't we start with you, Eclipse?"

"Of course. Hi guys, I'm Eclipse, at level 67, and I'm a regular player of CyberWorld, but I like to shop in the Aqua Region, but Blaze also has good ones," Eclipse laughed, "I got this cute sweater at Palatial Mall in Aqua. They were having a sale."

"I see. You mind going next?" Jon asked the player in the coat.

"Alright. I'm Maestro, level 78, and I attend plays here in the Marsh Region," He said. "I was actually watching Hamlet the other day, and the acting was on point. The price of a single ticket makes my wallet bleed, I can say for sure-but it's worth it for me, I guess,"

"How interesting," Jon turned to face the guy seated next to me. "Go ahead man, shoot."

"Hell yeah!" He said. "The name's Galvanic, everyone, and I'm trying to be the best player in CyberWorld,  though I got a long way to go. I usually go to the Vortex Region to get some kills-that way, I can level up faster,"

"Wait a second," I asked. "What level are you?"

"My level?" Galvanic said. "Level 72. Well, level 73 soon, since my XP is close to the required amount-I need a few more kills to level up."

"Good job," I turned to the other girl. "Your turn."

"Okay. My name is Solstice, and I like playing classic board and card games, like Monopoly. I find it quite entertaining- literally keeps you busy for hours. I also run a bar on my island, where I serve drinks and listen to people's stories,"

"Sometimes I manage to persuade them to have a round of games with me, and I ask them about their life," She said. "One time, a customer was telling me about how he got rejected by a girl he planned to ask out," Solstice leaned her face and arms on the backrest of her chair. "Poor guy. I think he was trying to get drunk to forget his unhappiness, but I guess he didn't know that the Fla4our Liquid ensures you stay sober."

"Guys, I'm sorry, but I need to go, like, right now, so I'll see all of you another time," Maestro said.

"Nah, it's fine, go ahead," I said. "We can catch up another time,"

Maestro nodded, and ran back to his ship. After he had boarded, the ramp automatically retracted, and the ship lifted off not long after, flying south of us.

"Alright, you two," Eclipse said, referring to Jon and I. "It's your turn to tell us about yourselves,"

"Fair enough," I said, "J-I mean, Raider and I like exploring the Regions Of CyberWorld and, uh, levelling up our avatars. Pretty regular stuff," I almost slapped myself then. I nearly revealed Jon's true identity.

"Well, you both must have a hobby each, right?" Eclipse replied. "There's a ton of stuff to do in this game-I'm sure you can find at least one thing that interests you,"

"We did, actually," Jon said. "We do normal guy stuff, like going to arcades and clubs. We're a duo."

"Yeah, but if you two were already a team, why did you have to create a guild?" Galvanic asked. Everyone all stared at us, expecting a answer.

"Uh, we wanted to grow in size and strength, and become more sociable too," I said. "Also, joining a guild comes with benefits and perks, which unofficial ones don't have,"

Everyone nodded, and Solstice said, "Speaking of our guild, I think we should give it a name. I don't want to keep calling it 'The Guild',"

"Sure, but what?" Jon asked.

"Cosmic Comets," Eclipse said jokingly.

"Wait, you like Sapphire Dawn too?!" Solstice exclaimed.

"Well, duh! Their songs are so good!" Eclipse said. "I already got their new album!"

"Girls, try not to get too distracted," Jon said. "Try to listen and give some suggestions on the guild name, alright?"

"Oops, our bad," Eclipse apologised. "Sorry,"

"Solstice?"

"I'll try to help," She said.

"Okay! Back to the name of the guild. Just tell us your ideas, and we'll give feedback," Jon said, "Galvanic, got anything?"

"Let me think," Galvanic replied, "Uh, Guardians Of Faith?"

"I think that's too long," I said. "It should be able to roll off the tongue.Like The Avengers, for example."

"I mean, yeah, it sounds cool, but we're aren't superheroes," Solstice said. "How about you, Slash? Anything in mind?"

"Uh...I can't think of anything," I said. "Eclipse, what about you?"

"I think I got one," She replied, "How about...Alliance Helix?"

We were all in silence for a while, before Galvanic spoke up.

"I like it! It's a really good name."

Eclipse grinned. "How about the rest of you?"

"I agree with Galvanic," I replied. "It is a nice name."

"I'm fine with it," Jon said.

"Sure, sounds good," Solstice said.

"Okay, it's decided then," Eclipse said, "What's next?"

"I was thinking," Jon said, "That we should all hang out together to bond, but I don't where. Any suggestions?"

"There's some new malls in the Aqua Region," Eclipse said eagerly.

"We can play board games at my base?" Solstice said. "If you guys want to."

You guys ever heard of Arndeayd?" Galvanic asked us.

We all turned to face him, and Jon said, "What place?"

"Arndeayd is a place in the Vortex Region," Galvanic explained, "Based on the game Aiko Tokoshima created back in her teens-Zombie Hunt. It's absolute chaos in Arndeayd wastelands-players can be killed in brutal and savage ways, whether it's by the NPC zombies, or other people," Somehow, he'd managed to say all that with a straight face, and rubbed his hands together. "You guys down?"

"That sounds really dangerous," Solstice said. "We could get killed," She rested her face and hands on the backrest of her seat. "But, that might help us bond better...I'm in."

"I mean, sure-I've got nothing else to do," Eclipse said. "When is it?"

"How about tomorrow at 3pm?" Galvanic asked.

The rest of us nodded in unison, and I said, "Tomorrow it is."

"I'll tell Maestro about the meeting in the chat," Jon said. "For now, class is dismissed."

                                                                                             . . .

As the others walked towards the hallway, I could see Eclipse and Solstice taking to each other enthusiastically-probably about Sapphire Dawn, while Galvanic fiddled with his Wristool Watch. Soon, a ship flew into and landed on the grass field. After he had boarded, the doors closed and the ship took off.

"See?" Jon said. "No nine year olds,"

"Fine, you win," I sighed. "They don't seem too bad, though that Galvanic guy is a little annoying."

"You've only met him once. What would you know about him?"

"Damn it."

"You following me back?" Jon asked. "I'm leaving."

"Nah, I'll call for the Falcon to pick me up."

Jon nodded, and disappeared down the dark hallway, leaving me alone by myself to my own thoughts.
