The day the PSEUDO, the most advanced gaming system to date was released, gamers everywhere jumped for joy as they immersed themselves in a truly realistic gaming experience as PSEUDO Inc also released its flagship game, Cursed Earth Online, allowing them to play in a virtual reality that was seamless and allowed them to do any action they could in the real world.

A "Skills"-based game, it did not require the players to grind to be stronger and allowed them to tailor their own fighting style as well as choose how they would meet their goals.

"In the span of just two years, PSEUDO Inc. quickly became a big name in not just the video game industry but in electronics, construction and almost every business known to man", a tall, gruff looking man with a shaved head and smart-looking sunglasses paired with a suit said to two younger men in front of him. Both were also equally dressed quite well as if they were executives at some firm.

"Little do people know that PSEUDO even bought out the militaries and governments of the world, and with them; the very rights of all the people currently alive today", the older man in the official-looking attire continued to discuss as his black, leather gloved hands stretched out to give the two folders he was holding. 

"That was four years ago. We've been working on this for a while now. Why bring it up now?" the paler one of the two young men said to their superior as his partner grinned.

"They're about to start the Apocalypse early", was all their superior said as the sound of a helicopter in the distance began to catch their attention.

"Where are we headed?" the grinning young man asked his partner as their superior began issuing orders into his radio to the helicopter while the pale one looked at the contents of the folder.

"Lemuria, New York", he said as the pale one  took out one of the two small, bracer-like devices from the briefcase their superior was now holding out and turned it on as it then displayed the name "Renoe_K".
