I found Alyssa in the suite. She was on the bed with her back turned to me. I walked up and crawled onto the bed with her.

"Alyssa?" I said softly. "Are you okay?"

Alyssa didn't answer. Her shoulders were shaking a little. I wasn't sure if she was crying over the loss of her virginity or the humiliation at the Lunch Hall. I guess it must be both.

"I'm sorry about what happened," I said again, swallowing dryly. Alyssa turned around to look at me. Her long eyelashes were damped with tears. She stared at me for a moment and burst out crying again.

"It's okay Alyssa...shhh...it's okay," I pulled her into my arms, and we held each other on the bed like that for what seemed like forever.

"Jacque didn't mean to hurt you that way, you know," I said again, smoothing her hair as her face pressed against my chest. "And neither did Cammie."

"I know," Alyssa managed to speak in a croaky voice. "I'm just a little upset about everything."

"I understand,"

"Why didn't she tell me this?" Alyssa said, now her breathing had calmed down a little.

"Sometimes it's better not to know."

"I thought it was just a dream."

"You remember?"

"Yes, when I was unconscious, I thought I was having this strange dream...about Jacque and me...but I didn't think it was true. I thought maybe I had feelings for her that made me fantasize about her...I really didn't expect this to be true."

"Oh yeah, you do have feelings for her," I said.

Alyssa just shrugged slightly, "I'm not sure."

"Jacque seems to care about you," I said. "I can see that."

"You think so?"

"Oh gosh...not you too," I said. "I was so blind with Octavia and now you are following my footsteps."

"At least Octavia shows you every day," Alyssa said and then she stiffened, "Wait, you said you were blind...so now you and Octavia?"

"We're now officially dating," I said with a shy smile.

"Oohh!!" Alyssa gasped, sitting up with a huge grin. "You guys are finally together?"

I just nodded sheepishly.

"Aw...Congratulation! Viv, I'm so happy for you!" Alyssa said brightly. I was glad that my news lightened her up a little. Then we heard a knock on the door, and the door opened with Cammie stepping in.

"Hey, Alyssa," she said nervously.

"Hi," Alyssa said. Then I was caught by surprise when Jacque followed through the door after Cammie. She looked at Alyssa with her pleading eyes, but Alyssa turned her back away and moved to sit on the edge of the bed.

"Er...I think you guys might want to talk," I said and crawled out of bed to stand next to Cammie.

"Alyssa," Jacque came around the room and sat down next to her. "Alyssa, I'm so sorry for what I did to you. I had no intention to take advantage or whatsoever. It was meant to save you. That's the only way I could make up for it. You can be mad at me, but please, don't hate me."

"I don't hate you," Alyssa said in a small voice. "I'm just a little upset."

"Alyssa," Cammie spoke up. "I also want to apologize for what I did at the Lunch Hall. I was stupid..."

"It's okay Cammie," Alyssa said. "I know you do stupid things because you care."

"We all care about you," I said. "We're all best friends."

"I know," she nodded then she turned to look at Jacque, who was still looking back at her with guilt filled up her eyes.

"I forgive you, Jacque," Alyssa said softly, "You took me without my consent, but you did it to save my life. Besides, what's done is done."

"Oh god, thank you Alyssa," Jacque breathed, "Thank you so much."

"So that means you're going to take responsibility of my best friend now?" Cammie asked.

"What?" Alyssa and Jacque said together, turning around to look at her.

"I'm just kidding," Cammie said.

"You're a jerk, Cammie," Alyssa said.

"Hey, at least I apologized after I kicked Jacque's butt,"

"As far as I remember, you fell on yours," Jacque said.

"That's because you used your witch magic!"

Alyssa and I looked at each other and then burst out giggling at that. Some people never change.

"By the way, guys..." I said later, "I have an announcement to make."

"Ohhh!" Cammie cried out, jumping excitedly. Alyssa was also grinning.

"Oh calm down! Cammie," I turned to her. "I just want to say that...I would like to withdraw myself from the energy donation. because Octavia and I...we're in a relationship now."

"That's my girl!" Cammie cheered, coming to wrap her arms around me.

"I knew you two are perfect together," Alyssa said, coming out of bed to give me a hug too, except Jacque who stood watching us.

"I hope you understand, Jacque," I said. "I don't want to make it weird if I still continue being a donor."

"That's okay," she just said with a small smile. "I'm getting better now."

I had trouble falling asleep that night. I lay in bed watching the rerun of my day inside my head. But when I did fall asleep, I dreamed again.

I was standing in a room that looked like a national museum. There were ancient sculptures and statues displaying around the area and on the walls. The cold marble floor was covered in red carpet.

At the center of the room was a long golden chest hovered under the spotlight. When I looked harder at the object, the chest seemed more like an ancient coffin with all the carvings on each side.

Then a group of men filled into the place. Each of them wore black coats with their red glowing eyes scanning around, except the one walking in front of them. Suddenly, I recognized the man, and it sent a cold chill from my back to my skull, because he was my evil uncle, Viktor.

He walked up to the golden coffin and then a devilish smile plastered across his pale face.

"Finally, we've found the sarcophagus," he laughed coldly.

"The archeologists unearthed it from the bottom of a stone temple. It was found in the city of Angkor, your highness," one of the guys said.

"Very interesting," Viktor muttered. "Now open the lid."

Six of them came to lift the stone cover open. It seemed quite heavy despite their giant strength. I could see inside the coffin was a deformed body. It hadn't been mummified in strips of clothes or anything, just a plain twisted figure of a dead person. I couldn't even sure whether the corpse was male or female. With dried skin covered the bones and sunken eyes with lips shrinking over the yellow teeth. And the corpse was sleeping peacefully.

"My prince, what are we going to do next?"

"Take the coffin," Viktor said to his undead servants and then murmured to himself in Russian, "Bessmertnyye vernus snova."

Just like that, I was pulled back from the dream, but I already understood Viktor's words in my mind, the immortal will be back again.

The next morning, everything was back to normal. Alyssa and Jacque were in talking term as usual. They tried to act normal even if rumors about them being together had blossomed around the Ultara campus. But that too began to fade. Cammie wasn't much of a pain in the rear end anymore.

But there were three major things I had been thinking about non-stop. 1) I know about the great prophecy of my future doom, and it was fulfilled by my very existence. That means the prophecy was set in motion. 2). Viktor had found an unknown corpse, aka, immortal vampire, and I still didn't understand why he stole the corpse and what he was going to do with it. 3). Octavia had messaged me to meet her at the Hobbit house. And I was fairly nervous and excited at the same time. I know that wasn't relevant, and on top of that, it wasn't even a date. Maybe.

So with all these in mind, I had no appetite to eat anything at the Lunch Hall this morning, except my milk. Alyssa was practicing her newfound curriculum in kinesis. Now, she was staring so hard at her bacon.

Cammie was still writing the last report for her mom, and it was in Sanskrit. Jacque was eating her breakfast while reading a huge psychology book in front of her. And every time she finished sections, the page would turn itself without her touching it. Even by now I had stopped feeling uncomfortable, I was still amazed at how Jacque could control objects as easy as breathing.

Suddenly, Alyssa cried out in frustration, "This stuff doesn't work!"

"What's wrong with you, Alyssa?" Cammie looked up from her report with a sour face.

"This kinesis thing," she complained, "I just couldn't get through to my bacon."

"Maybe you should switch to your egg," Cammie replied dully.

"Cammie, please don't make fun," Alyssa said. "I really want to master this, okay?"

"I don't get why you want to learn this silly magic like that little witch," Cammie scoffed, pointing her thumb at Jacque.

"Just so you know, genius girl," Jacque said without taking her eyes off the book, "Witchcraft is originated from kinesis abilities. People can do stuff like that without having to learn any weird spells. Ancient people only created names and phrases to call upon those forces. The same way modern people today name a storm Hurricane Katrina, or Hurricane Sandy, that's just to remind us how the power source looks like or feels like when we want to use it. So witchcraft is actually born from the power of human mind," Jacque said all these without lifting her face from the book, and when she put her hand out, a glass of orange juice scooted into her hand. She held it up and sipped the drink before adding, "And if you try too hard, it won't work."

"Great wisdom, thanks a lot!" Cammie said, shaking her head.

Jacque just turned to Alyssa.

"Kinesis doesn't require mental strain or laborious concentration," she explained. "Just simply relax your mind and imagine your magnetic field spreading out. Be one with the objects. Try to feel as if it was parts of your body. In quantum physics, it doesn't matter the size as long as you can get the atoms to move over the other atoms."

"So we can manipulate anything?" Alyssa asked.

"It depends," Jacque said.

"On what?"

"Your niche," Jacque replied. "There are many types of kinesis."

"What are they?"

"Hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, aerokinesis and so on, but you can discover one of them very quickly if it is your natural gift."

"You mean you can bend fire, water, and air?" Cammie said skeptically. Unlike us, Cammie didn't have trouble understanding weird terms.

"And so much more," Jacque added. Alyssa's eyes grew wide.

"Don't be ridiculous," Cammie said, "We're not living in the anime world."

"What? Our universe is a real-life anime world," Jacque said with a shrug, "In metaphysics, all things around us are made of these four elements, fire, earth, water, and air."

"That sounds cheesy," Cammie grimaced.

"Then suppose that you say solid instead of earth, liquid instead of water, gas instead of air, and energy instead of fire. Does it sound scientific enough now?"

"Whatever, I just doubt if any of your magic tricks has anything to do with electricity," Cammie said, pretending to sound interested, "Because Alyssa is famous for burning off people's eyebrows since eighth grade. Can you get a spell for that, too?"

I knew she was meant to be cynical, but Jacque didn't take it in that way. She just pursed her lips as if to think of something.

"I can think of one for Alyssa," Jacque said after a while.

"What?" we all said in unison.

"Electrokinesis,"

"What?" Cammie and I said together. Jacque looked at us as if we had peanut butter for brains.

"Alright, so tell me what makes electricity?"

"Electrons," Alyssa answered quickly.

"And what makes up every atom in your body?"

"Neutrons, protons..." I said then paused with realization. "...and electrons."

"You see," Jacque said with a smirk. "Think of how your hair sometimes gives statics in winter. If your mind is able to manipulate electrons from every atom of your body, you can supply electricity to an entire city for a week. You are a living nuclear power plant, you should know that."

"Holy molly!" Alyssa cried, "I'm so going to learn this electrokinesis thing! What do I have to do?"

"Just imagine electricity flowing inside and outside of your body," Jacque instructed, "Do it until you can make it come out of your hands or fingers."

"Just imagine it, that's all?"

"Imagination," Jacque said and paused for effect, "is everything."
