The next day, at night, you exited the guild with the others to head to the bath house. You were really excited to go there.

"So, Y/N how have you been doing anyway, it's been awhile since we last spoke to each other !" asked Levy as you walked.

You two had been good friends for awhile now but rarely ever hung out together. Your time together usually invoked coffee and reading sessions.

"Pretty good I guess, nothing new.. Actually. No. My life has been really busy lately. How about you?" You replied.

She chuckled at your turn of answer.

"I've been great thanks ! Oh ! I've bought new books to show you ! Let's hang out next week, alright ?"

"Sure, sounds fun ! There's actually a book I wanted to rant about, so get ready for me to get heated !"

You both laughed hysterically. It was nice to have a friend as chill as Levy. Most of the people you surrounded yourself with were loud and not low key at all.

So whenever their extra-ness was too much for you to handle, (although you did contribute to a part of it), you hung out with Levy and roasted books together.

Bath houses were amazing. You forgot about that surprisingly. It had been a while since the entire guild had gotten time to relax so it felt a little bit out the ordinary.

You, along with the other girls were now enjoying bathing yourselves in the comforting warm water. Talking about news, things that you had discovered recently, etc. Just talking about whatever came to mind.

Whether it was serious or irrelevant. Just having a genuinely good time.

Somewhat the conversation shifted from food to talking about the boys who were right next to you in the men's section screaming loudly.

And eventually onto you.

"Why.. " You began whining, "Why are doing this now ? Can't we have a relaxing time without talking about my love life ?"

"How can we enjoy ourselves without teasing you at some point, Y/N ?" laughed Cana. You glared at her obviously trying to hint at her to drop it.

"And how are you okay with this Cana ? Out of all people ? We're talking about your dad here !"

"Don't get all technical with me and start that dad talk again. Should I care ? It's more fun hearing you get all flustered over someone !"

"You- !?" You sighed thinking about the sheer embarrassment you were going to face.

"We don't have to force her to talk if she doesn't want to... " chuckled Lucy. You silently thanked her for having your back.

"But... I'm kinda curious to know what's going on... Sorry Y/N !"

You looked at her helplessly before giving up. Cana following Lucy's remark grinned.

"Fine... What do you want to know ?" You sighed prepared for the worst.

No ! Actually, you should have more faith in them.

They're your friends and trusted comrades after all !

Right ? Right ?!

Levy smirked at you a bit before putting her arm around your shoulder.

"What do you want to do him ?"

You shuddered and turned your heard towards her. "Levy !?"

"Ew. No, no. I don't want to hear about that," objected Cana, disgusted.

Understandably. No, really how was she okay with this ?

"What do you like about him ? Because, I still can't understand honestly," expressed Erza from afar.

"Come closer Erza ! Why are you so far away anyway ?" You giggled, pulling her towards you.

"I don't really know how to answer you to be honest... I mean, I could talk about his physical attributes, but I don't really think they have a lot to do with it. I mean they do but.. You know what I mean... " You started, sinking further down in the water.

"And, oh man, it isn't his personality either. I mean, do you honestly need a reason to like someone ? I guess in this case, considering the age gap, there must be one right ? But... I just love him."

"I guess you're right... Wow. That's very mature of you Y/N. I-I don't really know what to say now," said Erza blushing slightly.

"Well then, how do you think he feels about you ?" added Mirajane. You looked at her with a sad smile before leaving a sigh.

"I don't know. I mean how should I know, honestly ?" You continued, explaining. "I know the feeling isn't mutual, don't get me wrong but, even after all of this he still treats me with respect which I really appreciate... But at the same it makes long for something.. "

"I can't help but dream that, you know, maybe one day my feelings will be reciprocated. But for now, I don't think that there's anything that will make not lov-"

Your words had been cut by the sudden screams of the boys next door. With everyone looking at the wooden wall nearby, you all couldn't help (and kind of were forced) to listen to the conversation on the other side.

At first, their conversation had seemed pretty tame with the occasional immature jokes being thrown around. You and the girls grinned at each other due to their usual enthusiasm.

But then Gray started talking again.

"I bumped into Y/N yesterday by the way. She seemed kinda down... " He spoke out.

You couldn't quite well hear what he was saying but you did end up hearing the next exchange that happened.

"What are you planning to do with her anyway ?"

With this one simple question the mood of both side had changed.

"None of your business. What's it to you ?" Gildarts replied seemingly annoyed.

"I mean, a lot of us were wondering about it... Come on ! We're just laughing... No need to take it so seriously, "

He kept his eyes closed and held a small smile before replying softly, but still loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Exactly. She's just a kid, so don't take it seriously."

Rapidly the girls turned towards you.

You stood up slowly, walking towards your towel and made your exit.

"I'm getting tired guys... I'm going to bed, alright ? See you tomorrow !"

As you left, you could hear the other girls shouting your name begging you to come back.

You ran when you finished dressing up after hearing the others searching for you.

You weren't really in the mood to talk to anyone and were pretty tired honestly, but decided to walk a little bit. Just to get your mind out of everything.

You couldn't help but look up the sky. It was really pretty outside. Really pretty. The sky had been tinted of a deep rich blue.

Unfortunately, there weren't any stars that night, since the moon was full. And although it was really dark, the lights of Magnolia had made the streets look alive and bright.

But then suddenly out of nowhere, it wasn't so pretty. And it made you feel sad. Why didn't you find it beautiful anymore ?

Soon, you started crying. Just a faint cry though.

Yeah.

You were definitely crying about the sky.

But then someone approached and looked around, running. You already knew who it was unfortunately. And the closer you could make up his figure, the more tears came out.

You told yourself that you didn't want him to worry. That he should think of you just like the previous times.

A strong and independent woman.

But every girl has her moments right ? Your pride was in danger and was desperately holding you back.

But for once, you didn't listen to anything your body told you. You didn't care anymore.

So you let it all out.
