You were at the beach with your boyfriend, C/n and your friend Kalyn. She was more of C/n's friend who just kinda became yours a little.
A little...

"Hey guys lets go swimming!" You yell at them and you're already halfway in the water.
"Um actually I'd rather tan. The water's kinda cold." Kalyn says.
You roll your eyes and dive in ignoring how stupid you look when you swim.
C/n was sitting beside her talking. They were really close. They were only friends though, right?
And plus, he wouldn't cheat on you or anything.
But you still feel a burning fire deep deep down.
You just keep swimming, trying hard to ignore it. Suddenly you see your other friend, aka your ex, Ethan swimming with his friends. You swim over to him and greet him because you felt lonely.
"Ethan! How're you doin?" You ask him. He smiles at you.
"I'm great! How've you and C/n been?" He asks politely.
"The usual." You plainly tell him. "Well I should get back." You say, turning to walk back until you see Kalyn pretty much on top of him, kissing him.
Ethan saw it too, and glanced at you confused. He immediately grabbed your hand, dragging you back to C/n.
You closed your eyes, not wanting to see any more.
"Dude what the heck?!" Ethan pretty much yelled at him. They weren't kissing or touching, for that matter when we reached them.
"Y/n... She kissed me- i- it didn't mean anything!" You let go of Ethan's hand and run. You run all the way to the end of the dock and sit, crying.

C/n's POV

I couldn't believe what'd just happened. She kissed me! I pushed her off and now Y/n ex was yelling at me to get my life together.
Ethan sighed.
"Dude just go fix your relationship before there's nothing to fix." He told me. Ethan was a good guy.
And he was right.
I ran after Y/n.
And when I was close I slowly walked and sat beside her. Her eyes were red and puffy.
"Why do people do it?" She asked quietly.
"Huh?"
"Why do people hurt people. You could've just told me you didn't feel the same anymore instead of hurting me really bad." She sniffles.
I sigh and scoot closer.
"Babe, can I tell you my point of view?"
"And why do girls try to get with other girls boyfriends? It's just plain evil." She finished, struggling to breathe from all the crying she was doing.
"Y/n."
"Yes? Oh right- go ahead." She gives me permission.
"She pushed me down and started kissing me. I told her to get off and I was in a relationship. One I didn't want to lose. She's a lot stronger than she look by the way." I tell her.
She quietly giggles, trying to pull herself together.

Your POV

It still hurt but you tried to pull yourself together. He wasn't lying.
You could tell when he's lying and he isn't.
"Alright C/n. I forgive you, but it hurts when you see your boyfriend kissing another girl." You tell him sternly.
"I know I'm so sorry I only have eyes for you.... Girls shouldn't have to worry about other girls and I know I'm horrible for even sitting close to her. It was obvious she was trying to get with me and I'm sorry." He tells you.
"Okay let's go back home and ditch this lame place." You tell him.

Annnnd he never spoke to Kalyn again.
