sorry for the tom spam but tbh i'm not sorry. anyway, this is my last chapter of the entire book.

this book has taken me on the journey of a lifetime, even if i just wrote these little chapters in the middle of the night, cuddled in my duvet.

"okay, now be careful." c/n tells me, gripping my waist as he leans over the chair in the boat. "i know, you're just pressuring me!" i reply, letting out a deep sigh.

"it's just like parking a car, except it's in the water." he explains, placing a soft kiss to my shoulder.

"is that good?" i ask, parking the blue speed boat next to the large rock. "it's great. now i just gotta anchor it." he tells me, throwing the anchor into the lake.

i smile as c/n helps me out of the boat and onto the natural 'staircase'.

"thank you." i say, steadying myself. i take his hand and we walk up the rock and see another couple ready to jump together.

the young, teenage couple jumps off the edge, the girl screaming incredibly high pitched. "woah, she's loud." c/n states the obvious.

"yeah. now i wanna see what you can do!" i tell him as he approaches the edge. "what do you want me to do?" he asks, smirking.

"a triple backflip." i say, smiling evilly. "easy!" he says, his heels approaching the edge. "mhm, then show me." i say, taking a seat on a rock. "okay."

he crouches down and tucks his arms in. he jumps off, making me stand up and watch him rotate. one, then two, and finally three. but instead of landing it with his feet pointed straight, he falls straight on his back.

i immediately jump off the cliff and land next to him. he groans in pain, and shutting his eyes tightly. "you okay?" i ask, checking to see how bad the red mark on his back is.

"yeah, i'm great." he says, frowning. i giggle and swim back to the boat, c/n right behind me.

"that was kinda sad to be honest." i tell him, helping him onto the boat.

"agreed." he replies, wrapping himself in his towel.
