"Well if I'm so needy then we're done!" You spat, slamming the door in y/bfs face.

It was supposed to be your and y/bfs date night, but he had made arrangements to hang out with his friend. You wouldn't mind if he had simply told you beforehand, but he had planned without telling you.
Getting ready for bed his voice still rang in your ears "Why are you so needy all the time?!" You couldn't believe he had said that you just wanted to spend quality time together but clearly that was mistaken.
Crawling into your cold bed, thoughts racing through your head, the fight replaying over and over again. As you lay there in the darkness you could see the light of your phone, illuminating the dark room. You didn't know who it was but it didn't matter, you had no desire to talk. You sighed, rolling to the other side of your bed. A few minutes later the room lights up again, then again. The texts and calls kept coming.

Angrily you threw your legs over the side of the bed, quickly seizing your phone. Without reading a single text you powered it down, tossing it on the floor far from your bed. After 30 or so minutes of crying, you finally managed to close your eyes, drifting off into a much-needed sleep. The sound of indistinct taps woke you from your short sleep. "Tap... Tap... Tap."

Sighing, you yanked the blanket over your head attempting to block the noise.

"Tap... Tap... Tap.."

"Ugh! What is that?" You angrily groaned, unhurriedly making your way to the window.

Outside was y/bf, throwing small pebbles at your window.

Opening your window you coldly asked, "What do you want? You are literally tapping on my window, you weirdo."

"I know this is creepy, but I just needed to tell you y/n, I'm sorry. I'm so stupid. I should have never called you needy, you just wanted to spend time together. I'm the one who didn't communicate. I'm sorry."

You sat there a moment, processing what was said.

"Look y/bf, I wish I could just forgive you that fast, but this isn't like the movies. How do I know you're actually sorry?" You asked, feeling a lump grow in your throat.

"Y/n how can I prove myself, I'll do anything." He pleaded, his eyes welling up with tears.

"It's 2 a.m., there's not much you can do right now. Just go home and get some rest, goodbye y/bf." You told, shutting your window.

You wanted to forgive y/bf, you really did but you didn't know what to think. Was he really sorry? Were you too harsh or not harsh enough? You tried tuning out the thoughts as you crawled back into bed, but they wouldn't stop.
You were up for two hours mentally reasoning with yourself before you came to the conclusion, that you forgave y/bf, you needed him. It was a simple misunderstanding. Quickly you grasped your phone, dialing y/bfs number. It took one ring before you heard his voice.

"Hello?".

"Y/bf I'm so sorry, I should've accepted your apology. I love you and I.. I need you. You squeaked, a tear streaming down your face.

Y/bf was silent before hanging up.
Tears began falling from your eyes. Was he mad? Would he accept your apology? You didn't know. Angrily you threw your phone on your bed, running your hands through your hair as you paced the floor.

The sound of ringing was like music to your ears. Promptly you picked up.

"Look out your window," Y/bf communicated before hanging up.

You did as he said. Out the window was y/bf sat down on the ground, a blanket around his shoulders.

"What are you doing here?" You question, a small smile sneaking across your lips.

"I could never not forgive you. It was my fault."

"You're such a creep." You teased, brushing the tears from your eyes.

"Well.. can this 'creep' come Inside? It's kinda freezing out here."

You agreed, speeding down to let him in. He instantly drew you into a tight bear hug, gently swaying back and forth.

"Let's never fight again." He declares, still holding onto you.

"Agreed."
