The delightful aroma of freshly baked Christmas cookies enveloped you as you slowly opened your eyes. This Christmas marked your first time celebrating at y/bf's home, and so far, it had been an utterly magical experience, filled with delectable food, adorable younger siblings, and extraordinary parents. Amidst the faint snores of y/bf, you became aware of the sound of little knocks at the door.

"Who is it?" you called out, attempting to nudge y/bf awake.

"It's me, Ava, with Sara, Scarlet, and Cooper!" y/bf's 10-year-old sister cheerfully shouted.

"Coming!"

You hurriedly jumped out of bed and opened the door, allowing all four kids to rush in and pounce on y/bf.

"Huh? What's going on?!" y/bf exclaimed, quickly sitting up.

"Good morning!" The kids chorused in unison, embracing and playfully tackling y/bf.

He had always been wonderful with children, and you couldn't help but think that he would make an amazing father someday. While you laughed at their antics, you felt 4-year-old Scarlet tugging on your pajama pants.

"Can I hold you?" she asked, extending her tiny arms. (I can't be the only one who little kids say this to, right? 😂)

"Of course!"

You swiftly picked her up, playfully swinging her around in your arms. Her laughter filled the room and caught y/bf's attention.

[Switch to y/bf's POV]

Watching y/n swing Scarlet in her arms, I couldn't help but think about how great of a mother she would be. I knew I wanted to start a family with her; she was the perfect one for me.

[Back to your perspective]

"Y/n, y/n, y/n, let's go open presents!" Cooper shouted, excitedly pushing against your legs and urging you out of the room, still carrying Scarlet in your arms.

Once the kids tore into their gifts, wrapping paper was strewn everywhere, toys scattered across the floor, and children darting around with boundless energy.

"Y/n, come here," y/bf beckoned, taking your hand and guiding you to the sofa near the window.

He sat down, pulling you onto his lap, and you both began to drift off into a peaceful slumber. However, your peace was interrupted when 8-year-old Sara burst into the room, scanning for you.

"Y/n, y/n, y/n!" she yelled, jumping onto both of you. "I got you a present!"

"Really? For me? I'm so excited!" You beamed, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible.

Accepting the gift from her small hands, you gently unwrapped it, revealing a pink and blue friendship bracelet she had made just for you.

"Oh, Sara, I love it!" you exclaimed, hugging her tightly.

"I have a matching one," she said, displaying an identical bracelet on her wrist. "Now we can be best friends!"

"They like you," y/bf suddenly commented, startling you. You had forgotten he was right there.

"Ah! You scared me!" you laughed, wrapping your arms around him.
"Sorry," he chuckled, resting his chin on your head.

Not a minute passed before your name was being screamed once again.

"Y/n, it's time for breakfast! Come sit by me!"

You shared a laugh with y/bf before heading over to join the family at the breakfast table.

...

"That was amazing!" you complimented y/bf's mom, placing your empty plate in the sink.

"Aww, you're welcome, hon!" she grinned, giving you a warm hug.

"Oh, by the way, the kids and y/bf set up a movie downstairs for you," his mom added, gesturing towards the basement.

As you descended the stairs, you saw everyone waiting on the couch for your arrival to begin the movie.

"Over here," y/bf beckoned, patting the seat next to him.

The moment you sat down, y/bf's arms enveloped you, and he rested his head on yours. This had been one of the best Christmases you'd ever had. The movie played in the background, and the warmth of y/bf's embrace made you feel cozy and comfortable. You could feel your eyes getting heavy with sleep.

"Y/n, y/bf, wake up!" Scarlet exclaimed, bouncing onto your lap.

"You little monster!" y/bf teased, tickling her.

"Alright, Scarlet says good night. Y/n and I are going to sleep now," he announced, letting her move out of his arms.

"Goodnight, y/n, love you!" Scarlet said, bouncing over to hug you.

"Aww, love you too," you grinned, holding the little girl close.

...

"Hey, I'm sorry we didn't get to spend much time together today," y/bf said as the two of you got ready for bed.

"What do you mean? We spent plenty of time together."

You climbed into bed beside him.

"I just feel like my siblings... got in the way."

"They didn't get in the way! If anything, they just reminded me how much I love you and how great of a parent you'll be."

"Oh, y/n, I love you so much," he smiled, placing a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"And by the way, you'll be an amazing parent," he added, resting his head on yours.
