This evening, you and y/bf had attended a close friend's party, and everything was fine while you were at the party. However, things took a different turn once you got home.

"You were flirting with every guy there!" y/bf angrily shouted, throwing his hands in the air.

"No, I wasn't! I was just having conversations with them. What's the problem with that?" You retorted, crossing your arms over your chest.

"Still, that's chatting with six guys at one party!" he exclaimed.

"Y/bf, that's what parties are for! You're supposed to mingle and meet new people!" you said, feeling irritated by his reaction.

"Mingle? Are you looking for a new boyfriend because I'm not enough?" he teased, taking you aback.

"What? I was just trying to make some new friends. I could never replace you," you said sympathetically, sitting down next to him on the couch.

"I'm sorry; I overreacted. It was just hard for me to watch you talking to all those guys because I... I love you, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing you," he admitted, making your heart race.

He had never said "I love you" before, as you'd only been dating for a few months.

"I love you too, and I'd never leave you. You're the perfect guy for me," you reassured, leaning into his chest.

"You're the only girl for me," he replied, resting his head against yours.

"It feels so good to finally say it. I've wanted to tell you that I love you for weeks."

"Me too."
