Hannah's POV

----------------------

Ace slowly dozed off after our conversation, and I wasn't far behind him.

I have absolutely no clue how we got in the position, but I woke up on top of him. Luckily he was still asleep and didn't see it. I tried to move a couple times but he would constantly grab me, holding me in place.

I tried to maneuver my way off of him, but it wasn't easy. I carefully sat up, straddling him. When I did though, I felt something hard. I froze and my eyes widened. He mumbled something and slowly started to wake up. Aborting my whole plan, I quickly got off him and ran out of the room. Everyone looked at me as soon as I closed the door.

"So, Hannah..." Antony smirked. "How was being mauled by the bear?" Sarah chunked a pillow at him, causing everyone to laugh.

We had another eight hours left before we landed in Vermont, so Sarah and I grabbed some snacks that we found on the plane before having a movie marathon. Ben and all of the Capos were allowed to have electronics, so we stole his laptop while he was taking a nap and decided to watch the Fast and Furious series.

"May I just say, Paul Walker could get it any day, but Roman is my spirit animal." Sarah sighs, munching on a twizzler.

Oliver had gone through all of the ice on the plane trying to heal his Ace induced pain, Antony and Vinnie were playing a card game, and Ben was slowly starting to wake up. No one else noticed, but the first person he looked for when he woke up was Sarah. Forget the American mafia, I'm gonna kill myself if those two don't get married.

"What are you guys watching?" Ben yawns as he walks over to us.

"Fast five." She tells him, not looking up from the screen.

"Is that on Netflix?"

"Nope."

"What are you watching it on?"

"I don't know, some website."

"Sarah." He said her name, finally taking her attention off of the movie. "You mean to tell me that you are using my laptop, which has a ton of illegal evidence and files for the fucking Sicilian mafia, to watch a movie on an illegal website?!" She looked at the laptop, thinking. I was trying not to laugh while I could physically see the wheels turning in her head. When it finally clicked, her eyes widened and she quickly slammed the laptop closed.

"Oh." She carefully handed him the laptop, holding it like it was covered in germs. "Here you go. You might want to have it checked for viruses." He took the laptop and put it back with his things.

We were bored as hell the rest of the flight, trying to find ways to entertain ourselves. At one point, we even convinced Oliver to let us do his makeup. Other than the black eye, he looked gorgeous.

Ace never came out of the back room. We heard him get up a couple times and talk on the phone, but he never came out. At one point, Ben took him some food and talked with him for a few hours, but he wouldn't tell us what it was about.

When we finally landed, there was a black SUV waiting on the runway. We all squeezed into the car before having to ride to the safe house, which was two hours away. I don't know when teleportation will be invented, but someone should really get on that.

We were driving down a road in the middle of nowhere when the car slowed down all of the sudden. I looked to Sarah and Oliver, but they were just as confused as I was. The three of us were sitting in the same row, and the assholes forced me to sit in the middle. However, I was quickly thrown out of the middle and into Sarah's lap when the driver took a random right, now driving through the forest.

Ace and the Capos were calm, but Sarah, Oliver, and I were freaking out. I felt like I was getting kidnapped all over again. The driver drove for a solid five miles, going over bumps and dodging trees until a trail appeared. He got on the trail, which was slightly smoother than the woods.

We were on the trail for another fifteen miles until the trees thinned out. The woods opened up into a huge circle with a mansion sitting in the middle of it. It wasn't old or classical looking, but surprisingly modern like. The mansion was all black, with two or three stories and a separate garage.

Before the driver could put the car in park, Oliver was already opening the door. He quickly jumped out, slowly followed by the rest of us. He just stood there and stared up at the mansion with wide eyes.

Ace casually got out of the car, not even looking at the house, and headed for the door. Even the Capos were jittery, excited to see the inside of this place. He opened the doors and my jaw dropped. We all immediately started looking around while Ace made his way to what I assume was an office.

I used to want to be an interior designer, but there were some design styles that I could never understand why people would want them. One of those styles was black. I never understood how you could decorate a house with black interiors or dark colors and have it actually look good. This house, though, it proved me wrong in so many ways. The walls and interior in the house all followed the theme of black, gray, or white. There were a ton of windows, making the place open to let light in.

The capos all walked one direction while Sarah, Oliver, and I walked in the other. The first room we found was the living room. It had dark grey sofas, a huge flat screen, and two of the walls were all windows.

"Holy shit..." Oliver said, staring at something behind the couch. Sarah and I both walked over to him to see what he was looking at. Behind the couch was a glass floor that looked down into a pool. "This place has a fucking pool!" He shouted before taking off.

We quickly followed him until he found the way to get to the basement. The basement had a fully stocked bar, a movie area, a regular sitting area, and an indoor pool. No wonder this was a safe house, you could literally live your entire life in the basement and never have to leave.

We walked back upstairs and found the kitchen, which was also fully stocked. It was beautiful with a White Island and black barstools. It also led to a sitting area outside the house. We made our way upstairs which was where all of the bedrooms were.

"Dibs on the master!" Oliver shouted, halfway up the steps. The three of us raced around the top floor, trying to find the best bedroom.

The bedroom I picked had a king sized bed. There was a corner full of windows, with two chairs and a small coffee table in front of it. I had a small counter and walk in closet. It was beautiful. The bed looked so soft and fluffy, I would be happy to die in it.

"Wow, this one's beautiful." Sarah said, walking into the room.

"Which one did you pick?"

"I got the one across the hall."

"I can't believe this place is real." I meant it too. Never in a million years did I ever think I would step foot in a house the fancy.

"Come on, Ace wants everyone in the living room." I nod, taking a look around the room one last time before following her.

We walk into the living room and the boys are already seated, waiting. On the coffee table, there were Items laid out. There were three small boxes, a shot, a small cardboard box, and a ring box. Sarah and I sat down on one of the couches, while I looked confusedly at the items on the table.

"Okay." Ace said getting everyones attention. "Now that we aren't at the compound anymore, things are different. We still have soldiers but you three, as well as the Capos, will be doing all of the missions."

"Aren't I still a recruit?" I ask.

"Not anymore." He stands up, walking in front of me. "Hannah, do you solemnly swear to fight for and defend the Sicilian mafia?"

"I do."

"In doing so, do you swear to never reveal information to enemies or corrupt members?"

"I do." He sighs, grabbing the shot off the table. I freeze as he gently moves my hair, sticking me in the back of the neck.

"What is that?" I ask as he pulls away.

"A tracker. This way will always know where you are in case something happens." He then pushes the small cardboard box to me.

I look around the room while everyone stares at me excitedly. I carefully open it and peak inside to see a set of throwing knives. There are eight of them, all stainless steel. I pick one up, admiring it and notice the handle. My name is engraved on them.

"Do you like them?" Sarah asks, smiling next to me.

"They're beautiful."

"Whenever a member joins, you'll always get your own set of your specialty weapons and we engrave them." She says. I think she was more excited about everything than I was. "Open the ring box."

I put the knives down and opened the ring box. There was a ring, similar to a wedding band. It was white gold but had a line of diamonds in the center. I noticed my name was also engraved on the inside of the band. It fit perfectly and Sarah held her hand up, showing me hers that was identical.

"The last ones are for all of you. Not only is this house huge, but we need a way to reach you all at a moments notice. My number and the Capos are already in them. You can share your numbers with each other but no one else." Ace said.

The three of us quickly snatched up the boxes and opened them.

Phones.
