"Aspy!" He screamed, throwing his arms around me as I hugged him back, glancing down at him wide-eyed.

"Hey, Ayden." I smiled, hugging the little boy as he wrapped his small arms around me.

"I missed you." He mumbled as he hopped up to sit next to me on the couch.

"I missed you too, little man." I chuckled, wrapping my arm around his shoulder.

I looked up to see Rosa glancing between me and Dalton extremely confused as he held the same look on his face. I held up a finger, motioning that I would explain in a moment. The room suddenly fell quiet again as everyone looked to me for an explanation. I paused, taking in a breath before I began to speak.

"Rosa...This is Dalton." I began, motioning my hand between the two. "Dalton, this is Rosa. She's the person I was telling you about." I spoke, watching as he nodded his head in understanding.

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked as she walked across the room and settled down onto the other couch next to me.

"Dalton here was looking for a tutor in science," I explained, rubbing my hand over Ayden's small shoulder.

"What's a tutor?" Ayden asked, shooting a puzzled look my way as we all laughed at his question.

"Somebody who helps another person with a certain something," Rosa explained as her brother nodded his head.

"So, you want me to tutor you?" Rosa asked him, watching as he shyly nodded his head yes "Well, apart from when I'm at the clinic, I'm free. So, whenever you are?" She grinned at him as he sat up, smiling back at her. Damn, her smile always was contagious.

"I can do Mondays. I don't have practice then." He responded, pulling out his phone to do who knows what.

"Adults are weird," Ayden whispered to me as they conversated about when she could tutor him.

"Exactly. I'd rather be your age again." I smiled at him, sending him a small fist bump.

"I am practically an adult. I'm 11 now." He boasted, placing his hands on his hips as he puffed his chest out.

"Stay a kid. Being an adult sucks." I chuckle, patting his shoulder as he held the most confused look on his face.

"Hey, Aspy?" He asked, sending me a cute toothy grin.

"What's up, bud?" I responded, leaning against the side of the couch as I looked down at him.

"Can you take me to the movies next weekend?" He asked, his eyes getting really big as he looked up at me. "Mom won't take me and Rosa said she has a test. Tests are stupid." He explained as I frowned at him not being able to go.

"Of course. Good thing I don't have anything to do next weekend." I responded, looking over at Dalton and Rosa to see Dalton standing up off the couch.

"You guys are finished?" I asked, shocked they finished talking so quickly.

"Yeah. I have to head out, anyways. My friend keeps blowing up my phone asking where I am." He explained, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Well, I'll walk you out," I spoke, jumping off the couch as I walked over to where he was standing by the door.

"See you later." He spoke in a low voice as we stood by the door away from the other two in the room.

"Yeah, now that you're gonna be here more often," I responded, leaning against the doorframe as he stood outside the door.

"Are you implying you want to see me more?" He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Let's remember who came to who's dorm," I spoke cockily, raising my eyebrow at him.

"Maybe that'll give you more chances to flash me again." He retaliated as I felt my face grow hot at his words.

"Fuck you." I frowned, shifting my weight on my legs as I also crossed my arms over my chest.

"All you had to say." He shrugged, smirking down at me as I felt my jaw drop.

"Good night, Rivers," I spoke, moving back to place my hand on the doorknob.

"Night, angel." He smirked as he turned and began walking down the hall.

I shut the door and locked it, turning to lean my head back against it. I sighed, my mind running a mile a minute. I tried to regain my thoughts before walking away from the door. Walking back into the living room, I watched as 2 sets of eyes were focused on me. I stood there and watched them both before I opened my mouth to speak.

"Please, don't tell Vi."

♤♤♤

"He was in our dorm?!" Vi screamed as I flinched from the volume of her words.

It was now the next day and I was trying to peacefully enjoy my breakfast in the dining hall. Unfortunately, Vita had other plans as she and Rosa came shortly after and Vita began the interrogation. We had begun to gain some weird stares as she yelled at me from across the table.

"Aspen Ensley Michaels!" Vita frowned as I winced at the mention of my middle name.

"Damn. That's your middle name?" I heard a deep voice say from behind me as someone pulled out a chair beside me.

I turned to see the man of the hour as I heard Vita squeal. Groaning, I threw my head in my hands with my elbows leaning on the table. I heard a small giggle from Rosa as she sat across the table next to Vita. Why was this girl so loud and it wasn't even 10 o'clock yet?

"Fuck off," I grumbled, leaning my head up to glare at him as he sent me a wink in return.

"What are you doing over here?" I asked, looking around for any of his football jockeys.

"I'm just waiting on my friends. They were being slow as shit so I headed here before them." He explained as I nodded before moving to take another bite of my food.

"Do you guys have classes today?" He asked, slumping back in his chair.

"Just rehearsal," Vita spoke, waving her hand at the mention of where she has to go today.

"Acting major?" He questioned, pointing at her as she nodded her head promptly.

"What's your major?" Vita asked, leaning her chin in her hands as she smirked at him.

"Sociology." He nonchalantly replied as us three girls just gazed at him wide-eyed.

"Sociology?" I gasped, turning fulling in my chair to face him.

"Yeah...? What is there something wrong with it?" He asked, raising a brow as glanced back and forth between us.

"No...I just.." I started, trying to find the right words. "I thought you would major in something like math," I spoke, taking a sip of my orange juice.

"Math?" He questioned in disbelief as I heard Vita scoff from across the table.

"I don't know. You just look like a guy who's good with numbers." I answered as everyone laughed at my words.

"What? I'm telling the truth." I shrugged before we heard a voice behind me and Dalton.

"Damn, Dal. 3 girls at once?" Someone spoke as I turned to see a boy standing behind me with his arms crossed.

He was a tall boy with a strong frame that you could see through his tight shirt. He had light brown hair which complimented his adorable dark blue eyes. He looked very familiar so I'm assuming he is one of his football friends. His face held a teasing smirk as he looked down at Dalton.

Me, Vita, and Rosa looked puzzled as we watched Dalton scoff and roll his eyes. He punched the guy in the arm as he winced from the punch. I glanced back and forth between the two as they interacted in front of us.

"Sorry. Guys, this is my friend, Hunter." Dalton introduced us as his friend curiously glanced at us three. "He's an idiot, so just ignore him," Dalton added, earning a laugh from all of us.

"For your information, I'm not an idiot. I'm your adorable best friend." Hunter boasted, placing his hands on his hips.

"For reasons still unknown." He muttered as Hunter scoffed at his words.

"You know you love me." He chuckled, flipping his imaginary long hair over his shoulder.

Damn, I love this guy already.

Feeling a buzz in my pocket, I glanced away from the current conversation. I pulled my phone out to see my phone lighting up with messages from my sister. I sighed, seeing as she wanted me to call her for god knows why. I replied asking her what she wanted and she only just told me to call her.

"I have to go, guys," I announced as everyone paused and turned to me.

"Something happened?" Rosa asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Nothing. Just Livi." I answered as both of the girls nodded.

"Livi?" Dalton asked, turning to me with a confused look on his face.

"My sister. She wants me to call her." I responded, standing up out of my chair as I grabbed my bag off the back of it.

"Well, see you later." Vita waved as Rosa chimed in.

"See you later." I waved too, pushing my chair back in. "It was nice to meet you, Hunter." I smiled at the tall boy as he smiled back at me and waved.

Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I walked out of the dining hall. I headed a little bit down the path before pulling my phone out to call my annoying sister. Placing the phone up to my ear as I waved at some people passing by. I heard the line ring two times before my sister's loud voice rang through my ears.

"Hey, Aspy!" My sister squealed as excitement dripped with her every word.

"Hey, Livi. What's up?" I questioned, making it to the courtyard as I plopped down on a bench, placing my bag beside me.

"I have big news to tell you!" She spoke at a loud volume as I sat criss-cross on the bench.

"What is it?" I asked, feeling kind of excited at whatever it was that she had to tell me.

"Well, I can't just tell you the phone." She answered, making me groan out as she had gotten my hopes up. "Are you free tomorrow night?" She questioned as I racked through my brain to see if I had any plans with anyone.

"Not that I know of," I responded, coming up with the conclusion that I was free tomorrow evening.

"Great! Let's go out for dinner tomorrow."
