Weddings are fucking exhausting.

I've been running around all morning doing goddamn damage control.

Only because Vita could barely fit into her dress.

Cole was stressing the fuck out.

Mom was aggravating the hell out of me.

And a pregnant woman was missing.

My biggest issue was finding Livi before I could finally resolve everyone else's issues. She had been missing since this morning.

Me, Rosa, and Vita took her out last night for bachelorette party as we stayed the night in a hotel close to the venue. We woke up and Livi was gone yet all her stuff was still there.

And nobody knew where she was.

I finally snuck away and managed to get Cole alone in his dressing room, glaring at him. He had his head in his hands as he sat on the couch.

"Cole, what's going on?" I frowned, going to sit next to him as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"What if Livi never pops up?" He mumbled, looking up at me.

"She will. I promise you she will." I reassured, rubbing his shoulder in a comforting manner.

"But no one has been able to find her." He stated, emphasizing no one.

"And we will. Or she'll turn up. I promise she loves you too much to leave you hanging on your guy's own wedding day." I smiled, giving him a slight side hug.

"Thank you, Aspen." He smiled, hugging me back just as I felt my phone ding.

I pulled it out hoping it was a text from Livi but it was only a text from Dalton. I sighed but still opened it, hoping Livi would say something soon.

hey, hope today runs smoothly

"You guys really love each other, huh?" He spoke, looking at me as I looked at him in shock.

"What? Huh? We've never even said that to each other before." I frowned, looking at him in disbelief.

"Yeah, but it doesn't take an idiot to see how much you two care about each other." He shrugged, running his fingers through his hair.

"Just like you and Livi?" I suggested, raising a brow as I turned to him.

"I think I've been in love with your sister since the moment I saw her." He mumbled, shaking his head with a smile on his face.

Before I could say anything else, my phone beeped again. Me and Cole looked down at it, our faces lighting up as I read the notification.

It was a text from Livi.

I quickly opened it but was confused as I read it. It was just an address and a room number with no context whatsoever. Suddenly, Cole got up and started pacing around the room.

"Cole, calm down. You stay here and I'm going to go check on Livi." I told him, quickly getting up and rushing out the room.

I stopped in front of the address that Livi sent me, looking up at the big hospital. I frowned in confusion before quickly finding a parking spot.

I rushed inside and went up to the receptionist, reading off the room number Livi had sent to me. She pointed me in the direction of the room and I ran off.

After much running, I finally found the room. A doctor was just stepping out as I finally got up to the room. He smiled at me and held the door open for me as I smiled back at him.

I walked in slowly, shutting the door behind me. My face immediately fell as I looked up and saw Livi sitting in a hospital bed, a bracelet on her wrist and an IV attached to her arm.

"Livi?" I frowned, walking over to her and placing my hand on her arm.

"Hey, sis." She smiled, not looking like she was in the hospital at all.

"Livi, what, why, and how are you in the hospital right now?" I spoke in a shocked tone, picking up her wrist and reading the bracelet.

"Sit down first. I'll tell you the story but is Cole okay?" She asked, a worried look crossing her face.

"He, along with everyone else, is just freaking out about where you are. I was calming him down when you texted me." I told her, noticing the content look covering her face.

"Please, don't tell anyone about this. It's kind of embarrassing to say you were in the hospital on your wedding day." She chuckled, folding her hands over her lap.

"Just please tell me how you got here." I frowned, trying to wrap my head around the whole situation.

She began explaining about how she woke up last night because she had really bad stomach cramps. For some reason, her pregnancy brain told her not to wake anyone up.

It was only then she noticed that she had started bleeding and she was panicking. She tried to wake me up but I was too passed out from drinking the night before.

Lightweight problems.

She ended up having to go to the hospital and she called an Uber in the middle of the night to pick her up. She only couldn't text or call anyone back because she wanted everything to be okay first.

"I'm about to be discharged, I just need someone to come and sign my papers for me. What better than my lovely sister who definitely won't tell anyone about this?" She grinned, doing jazz hands as she looked at me.

I lept forward and hugged her, careful to watch her stomach. "I'm sorry I didn't wake up sis. I'm never drinking when you get pregnant again."

"Calm down, Aspy. I'm fine. Now, go sign my papers so I can get married to my handsome fiancé." Livi told me, rubbing my back as she hugged me back.

Me and Livi rushed back inside the venue as Mom immediately ran up to us. She took Livi's hand and began questioning her as she led her to her dressing room.

We only had about an hour and a half until the wedding was supposed to start. Mom dragged me into the room too as we grabbed Livi's wedding dress. She took it out the dry cleaning bag, making sure it was ready.

"Quick, Aspen. Help her get in this while I go check on the ceremony." She told me, shoving the dress in my arms before she ran out the room.

Rosa and Vita then walked in, smiles taking over their face as they saw Livi.

"Livi!" Vita cheered, rushing over and hugging her.

"We missed you all morning. Where have you been?" Rosa asked, hugging her as well.

"Don't worry, guys. I'm fine, I just needed to gather myself." She reassured, making me smile at how calm she could be after just getting out the hospital. "Now, let's get changed. It's time to get married."

We all laughed as Rosa and Vita went to go change into their dresses. Mine was sitting up, hanging perfectly as if it was just waiting for me to wear it.

As I helped Livi into her big dress, she started tearing up before the tears fell. I stopped as I slid the straps up her shoulders, moving to stand in front of her.

"You okay?" I asked, handing her a tissue so she could wipe her tears.

"I'm just really happy." She cried, tapping under her eyes with the tissue. "I'm about to get married. To the love of my life."

"I'm so happy for you." I grinned, placing my hands on her shoulders.

"I need to stop crying so much." She laughed, more tears falling down her cheeks as she placed her head in her hands.

"I've never seen you so emotional." Rosa laughed, standing in front of a mirror as Vita zipped up her dress.

"Wedding day jitters. I never thought I'd be getting married so soon. Or young." She mumbled, sniffling.

"You're only 26. At least you found someone young." I smiled, moving behind her and zipping up her dress.

"And what about you and Mr. football player?" She teased, smoothing her hands over her dress.

"We just started dating. It's not anything big yet." I spoke, trying to hide the huge smile on my face.

"Just started dating? You guys have been together since New Years, making it...4 months." Rosa mentioned as Livi turned and looked at me with a shocked look.

"Aspy! You've been dating him for four months?" Livi gasped, turning to look at me as she sat down in her vanity chair.

I shook my head with a smile before walking over to where my dress was. I took it off the hanger and pulled off my current dress, Livi still rambling on about me and Dalton.

I pulled my dress on, standing in front of the mirror as I smiled to myself. My sister was getting married, I had the best boyfriend I could ask for, and I was surrounded by my amazing family and friends.

I was fixing the straps on my dress when my phone rang in my bag. I took it out to see Dalton calling, a picture of us two on our one month anniversary.

I hadn't seen much of Dalton these days with Livi's wedding taking up most of my time. I smiled as I studied the picture on my screen. I picked up the call, going to sit on the couch and placing my phone against my ear.

"Hey." He greeted, his voice deep and laced with sleep.

"Hey." I grinned, looking at my nails as I sat in my dress.

"How's everything going?" He asked, shuffling being heard in the background.

"It's good. The weddings starting soon." I told him, smiling and biting my lip.

"I can't wait to see you. Can I finally see your dress now?" He whined, making me laugh and hardly contain the big smile on my face.

"Aspy's talking to her boyfriend." Livi teased, making fake kissing sounds as I flipped her off.

"No, you can wait. I want to see you in your cute little suit." I spoke, sliding my finger along the slit of my dress.

"Well, I'll leave you to your wedding stuff. Bye, angel." He said as I told him goodbye before he hung up the phone.

I stuffed my phone back in my bag, moving to the mirror to smooth my hands over my dress. As I was looking in the mirror, Livi came over and put her hands on my shoulders.

"You look gorgeous in your dress, sis." I smiled, turning around and grabbing her hands.

"You look amazing too." She grinned, kissing my cheek. "Time to get married."

"Makeup and hair first." I smiled at her false memory.

"Then, it's time to get married." She cheered, throwing her arms up in the air.
