"What do you think of this dress?" I asked Livi, turning from side to side as I looked in the large mirror.

"It's cute but it looks like it's suffocating you." She laughed, drinking some water.

"No champagne or anything?" I asked, raising a brow at her through the mirror.

"I'm just trying to stay off of it before the wedding." She answered, placing the glass down on the side table.

Me and Livi were going bridesmaid dress shopping as she had already picked out her wedding dress. Cole for some stupid reason rented out the shop because word had gotten out about their wedding.

Livi's social media was blowing up with dms, people tagging her, and even posts on their wedding. All because Cole was some super famous CEO billionaire.

"I'm this close to deleting twitter." Livi groaned, tapping away on her phone.

"Why? What happened this time?" I asked, stepping down and coming over to sit next to her.

She showed me the post on her phone as I squinted my eyes and read it. I rolled my eyes, looking at the shaderoom tweet.

"How did they even get that picture? We took that in the house before we left." Livi frowned, looking over it.

"I have no idea. But look at the bright side, we look hot." I tried to cheer her up, standing up and going back in the changing room.

"Aspen, you know I can always wait until Mom gets here. You don't have to keep walking around." Livi spoke as I rolled my eyes from behind the curtain.

"Livi, this is your wedding. This is only going to happen once so stop worrying about me and my knee. I'll be fine." I told her, poking my head through the curtain just as the door opened.

I squinted my eyes at the door, seeing Mom walk in. She looked between me and Livi as she took her seat on the couch.

I went back behind the curtain, changing into the next dress. I walked out and ran my hands down the smooth material, smiling as I eyed it in the mirror.

"Yeah, this one's my favorite." I grinned, turning to see it as their eyes were focused on the dress.

"I like that one the best. How good does it fit?" Mom asked, standing up as she started playing with the straps.

"Perfectly. And I can just wear some heels I already have with this." I suggested, watching as Mom's face twisted up.

"Old heels? No, darling. We can buy you a new pair after we leave here." She spoke, stepping back and eyeing the dress again.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around, seeing Mom raise her brow at me. I quickly straightened up and put on a big fake smile.

"Aspen, someone keeps texting you." Livi told me, stretching her arm out with my phone.

I took it and unlocked it, thinking it was probably one of my friends texting me. My brows furrowed at the unsaved number that had sent me multiple texts.

I felt my heartbeat pick up as I looked around the large building. There couldn't have been anyone in here except for the workers.

So, who the fuck was texting me?

"Rosa, can you hand me that box of centerpieces?" I asked, pointing towards the box.

Me, Rosa, and Vita had nothing better to do as we were officially on spring break. So, we offered to help Livi and Cole set up the venue before the wedding in a few days.

Rehearsal was tomorrow as Mom wanted everything to be in top shape. Cole and Livi had said they were going to go get something from one of the storage rooms and hadn't been back for over thirty minutes.

"I still can't believe that Livi asked us to be bridesmaids." Vita grinned, setting down placemats.

"Well, believe it. It's not like I have many friends anyway." Livi spoke, making us jump as she came around the corner with Cole.

We all laughed as they set down the box that Cole had been carrying. As Livi walked over, I noticed a slight difference in her walk. Cole started speaking before I could say anything though.

"Hey, Aspen. I just wanted to let you know that my nephew will be at the rehearsal tomorrow. He's my best man." Cole told me as I nodded in agreement.

"So, we're walking down the aisle together?" I questioned, tilting my head as I arranged the centerpieces on the table.

"Yeah, I hope you don't mind. He's around your age though." He explained as I nodded and went back to the centerpieces.

I looked over at Livi as she sat down on a chair for a second and Cole went over to her. They started whispering about something, his hand moving to rest on her stomach.

I raised a brow and tried to hear what they were saying as Livi nodded and took off her heel, rubbing the bottom of her foot. My brows furrowed as I saw him kiss her cheek before he walked back over to what he was doing.

I put down all that I was doing and walked over to Livi. She stared up at me with a questioning gaze as she put her heel back on. As she stood up, I grabbed her hand and pulled her back down the hall.

"Why did you drag me over here?" Livi laughed, staring at me with a confused look on her face.

"Are you pregnant?" I asked, crossing my arms and staring back at her.

"W-What?" She asked, laughing as she tried to cover up her shock.

"Come on, Livi. No champagne, Cole's hand on your stomach, you needing to sit down and rub your feet? You gotta be pregnant. Or sick—you're not sick right?" I frowned, grabbing her shoulders and looking into her eyes.

She stared at me, not saying anything as she tried to avoid my gaze. I stared back at her, not looking away until she cracked.

"Fine! Yes, I'm pregnant." She finally said, sighing and rolling her eyes. "We didn't want to say anything until after the wedding."

"Well, you can't hide anything from your super awesome smart sister." I laughed, feigning confidence. "But don't worry, your secret is safe with me."

She laughed and I gave her a tight hug before we walked back into the main hall. We both went back to what we were doing before my phone buzzed.

I took it out of my pocket, reading the messages I had been sent.

awww congrats to your sister!
i sure would want this pregnancy to run smoothly if i were you, am i right?
