The parks of Disney.

I've only been here twice. Once for vacation when I was a kid and another for my spoiled ass cousin.

We had gotten our wristbands on to show we had express-lane passes. Rosa had been adorably wearing a minnie mouse headband that Hunter had bought her when we came in. She simply mentioned she always wanted one and we all waited outside the store while he bought it for her.

As we were about to walk through the main entrance, Hunter and Vita stopped all of us. I had been trying to avoid walking by Dalton but didn't even realize when I accidentally bumped into his arm.

"Ok, guys, who here has been to Disney?" Hunter asked, making me and Dalton the only one to raise my hand before he playfully glared at me. "Other than those two."

"Well, I was born here so I definitely have been here." He shrugged, making me turn and look at him confused.

"You were born in Florida?" I asked, seeing him turn to look at me with a smirk.

"Moved to LA when I was 9." He explained before Vita and Hunter turned our attention back to them.

"Nobody else? Anyways, this place is amazing. Much better than Disneyland. That place is garbage." Vita rambled, rolling her eyes at the mention of Disneyland.

"Now, we're practically royalty here since we have express lane passes. But we still have to do every ride in order. We need to have almost half the park done before we leave today." Hunter boasted, putting his hands on his hips.

"Half the park? What about when we want to eat and take a break?" Luka frowned, crossing his arms over his chest.

"That's quitter talk. Come on, guys. We're wasting valuable time." Vita waved, turning around and beginning to walk into the park.

We walked into the park, walking in a group for a moment. I'm so glad I only packed shorts and dresses because it was hot as hell out here. I was already sweating as we walked to the first ride.

I looked up at the roller coaster, a big smile spreading across my face. I immediately looked around at them, seeing Dalton gulp.

"I dibs front seat!" I grinned, clapping my hands together as I stood in front of everyone.

"I dibs that bench over there." Dalton spoke, pointing to a random bench that was empty and beside an ice cream cart.

I rolled my eyes, motioning for the rest of them to get in line in front of me. I walked over to him, looking up at him with a confused look. I pulled on his wrist, raising a brow at him.

"Is Mr. Captain scared?" I teased, a smirk playing on my face.

"No." He immediately replied as I looked at him in disbelief. "Maybe."

"Come on. Can you please get on this ride with me? I'll owe you one." I pressed, tugging on his wrist more.

He looked at me for a moment as if trying to decide between walking away or going in line with us. Then, he rolled his eyes and sighed as he looked at our friends behind me.

"Fine." He groaned, letting me pull him into the line as we caught up with everyone.

"How did you get him to get in line? He can handle being tackled 100 times but is afraid of roller coasters." Luka teased as we all laughed and Dalton just rolled his eyes.

"It's just my charm. Plus, I'm the birthday girl." I fake boasted, flipping my hair over my shoulder as we continued walking down the empty line.

We walked through the long empty line until we finally made it to the front. There were 2 groups in front of us as we stood back and waited for them to get on.

"You want me to sit next to you?" Vita whispered in my ear as she noticed my at the front of the group.

"If you want to. I don't really care who I sit with." I shrugged, playing with the strings on the hem of my shorts.

"Well, we already know Roro and Hunter are gonna sit together. I just thought you should take loverboy to sit beside you." Vita smirked, fiddling with her bracelet that I got her for her birthday.

"Are you trying to play matchmaker?" I asked, making her shrug as she turned back to the rest of the group.

"Luka, you're sitting with me. I wanna see your face when the coaster drops." Vita suddenly said, making me glare at the back of her head.

I rolled my eyes, turning back around as I noticed we were the next group in line. I felt them shuffling around behind me before someone else came to a stop beside me.

"So, I guess it's you and me, huh?" Dalton nudged, stuffing his hands i. the pockets of his shorts.

"I hope you like the front seat because birthday girl gets first pick." I grinned, watching as the worker motioned for us to come and take our seats.

Technically, my birthday wasn't until tomorrow but who actually cares?

"If I die, I'm blaming this on you." He warily spoke, taking his seat next to me at the front of the car.

"Calm down. It's just a roller coaster." I waved off as the worker came and pushed our bar down and shook it to make sure it stayed in place.

He gave another staff member a thumbs up as a huge grin spread across my face. I excitedly held the bar as the cart slowly began moving forward. On this coaster, you immediately began moving up with no build-up.

Suddenly, I felt Dalton reach for my hand and grip it tightly. I looked over at him to see him looking scared as hell. He couldn't even look forward, keeping his eyes trained down at his shoes.

"Open your eyes." I laughed, tugging on his hand in my own.

"Why in the hell did I let you convince me to get on this death trap?" He spoke through gritted teeth, squeezing my hand tighter each time the cart got higher.

"Do you want me to tell you when there's a drop?" I asked, a smirk playing on my face as I watched us get closer to the top.

Before he could respond though, the cart immediately descended at a quick pace. I screamed happily, pushing my hand up in the air. Dalton was busy squeezing the shit out of my hand.

I think I was losing circulation from how tight his grip was.

It was a little bit later, about 1 o'clock. We all were hot and hungry, trying to find somewhere to eat. Thankfully, we had just come across one as we immediately secured our spot in line.

After the roller coaster, Dalton's face was bright red, I had lost feeling in my hand, and we were all pretty much excited for the rest of the rides. Dalton kept complaining about how he would never get on another ride like that again.

It wasn't even that bad, at least it wasn't a slingshot.

That's where I truly draw the line.

"Hey, we're gonna go find some tables. Whatever you're getting we can just share." Vita said to me as I nodded and watched her and Rosa walk off to find some tables.

I went to go stand beside Hunter, seeing him stare at Rosa's retreating figure. I elbowed him in the ribs to catch his attention as he shook his head and looked at me.

"Does someone have a crush?" I teased, watching him roll his eyes at my words.

"Is it really that obvious?" He breathed out, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hunter, she has you wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even know it." I laughed, adjusting my sunglasses on my face.

"She's just so pretty and I really like her, Aspen. I like how shy she is, how she rambles on about something she likes, or even when she reads she's just so gorgeous." He rambled on, making me smile at how much he truly liked Rosa.

"You stopped freezing up when you're around her." I pointed out, watching as he shrugged and tried to play it off. "Are you gonna ask her out?"

"How do I even know if she likes me back?" He frowned, moving up in the line as we got closer to the front.

"Trust me, if Rosa didn't like you she wouldn't give you any attention. It's really obvious to tell." I informed him as he nodded, running his fingers through his hair.

"Haylee really likes her. She said she thinks we're cute together." Hunter mentioned, making me smile at his words.

"If Haylee likes her then you have nothing to worry about." I grinned, pushing my hair back out of my face as we got to the front of the line.

We all ordered our food, standing to the side as we waited them to hand us our trays. I took mine and Vita's which had Rosa's food on the same tray. I waited on the boys to get their food as well, standing off to the side as they grabbed napkins and stuff.

Once everyone had their stuff, we walked over to the area where all the tables were as we tried to find Rosa and Vita. I finally spotted them at a big table that had an umbrella above it.

Walking over, I sat on the bench beside Vita as the boys took their seats around the table. I handed Rosa her food as I placed me and Vita's tray in front of us.

"How did you guys even get this table? There's like a thousand people here." Luka asked, moving his own sunglasses as we all began to eat.

"Oh trust me, it was hard. I almost had to fight this lady with a stroller." Vita laughed, pushing fries into her mouth.

"It's true. She started to tie up her hair before the lady walked off super scared." Rosa chimed in, making me laugh more.

"You guys are crazy." Dalton chuckled, taking a sip out of his drink.

"That's why were friends." I grinned, leaning into Vita as everyone laughed at my statement.

We were now making our way to our last ride of the day. We truly had spent all day here, eating greasy park food and riding every ride, even the baby ones. Hunter had gotten into an argument with a 4 year old who jumped the line while we were waiting to get on the carousel.

As of right now, we were onto a more laid back ride. Rosa suggested for the last one we get on the 'It's a small world'. It was kind of popular but we were able to get on pretty quickly.

I was sitting beside Dalton again, this time I don't even know how.

All the characters and the music was so fun, making me smile each time I saw something new. Looking around, I saw Dalton staring at me with a smile.

"Shouldn't you be paying attention to the ride?" I smirked, playfully poking him in the side.

Way to be awkward, Aspen.

"I am. I was looking behind you." He said, making me raise a brow at him.

"I totally believe you." I rolled my eyes, looking back around.

"Why were you looking at me? Shouldn't you be focusing on the ride?" He pressed as I scoffed at his words.

"I was not looking at you. I was looking past you." I lied, facing forward as I tried to play it off.

"Really? So, what were you blushing at then?" He smirked, knowing he had caught me.

Wait, what?

When the fuck was I even blushing?

I looked at him confused as I noticed the look on his face. He was playing with me because he knew the affect he had on me.

Well, guess what Dalton?

Two can play at that.
