"Just tell me"

Derek stresses to Bailee in the car driving to work. Bailee had gone out with Samuel and Markus with the deal she made with Derek that she wouldn't drink. She was annoyed at first but then remembered her conversation with Spencer and eventually she agreed to not drink. Things at work were still tense, Bailee did tried to make it less awkward when she saw Hotch. Her dad. But since her break down she avoided him, it's as if every time he says that he's there for her mind holds onto his words hoping they are true. However, the other part doesn't want to trust him. She has so many different emotions, mostly anger, hurt, and pain, and she would never admit it but relief too. She doesn't have to think of the what ifs anymore. She had many questions she wanted to be answered by Aaron but saying it out loud. That he was her father. It made everything real, part of her wasn't ready for that. It wasn't just Aaron it was jack too. Her brother, the child they kept. It made her feel even worse knowing they kept Jack but not her. She felt guilty after their conversation asking for space and seeing his hopefully face fall but Bailee knew she had done the right thing. That is why Derek let her go out with the two guys.

"There's nothing to tell" Bailee retorts. On the night out Samuel had told her a guy kept glancing at her from across the club. She paid no attention to the guy and danced with her friends for the night. Before they left the same guy came up to her asking for her number. At first, she was slightly confused when Samael give her a nudge, she looked to see a smirk on his face. Snapping out of her shock she gave the guy her number as they left the club.

"Bullshit," Derek says looking at her. "You hate me waking you up in the morning, but today you full of smiles and giggles".

Bailee rolls her eyes "Eyes on the road mister" trying to hide her smile. When she woke up the guy from the club had messaged her. He commented on the outfit she had worn that night and how beautiful she looked. That was when Derek caught her red-colored face smiling at her phone.

"See. You're trying not to smile. Why are you smiling at you're phone?" Derek had a feeling of what had happened. Maybe not a why she was smiling at her phone more so a who. He didn't know how to feel. Bailee was still seventeen her birthday was only a month away. But a boy. No he couldn't think of that.

"Fine. Some guy asked for my number last night" Bailee's face goes bright red for the second time today.

"No boy! "Derek states, half of him was teasing her, the other one felt as if he needed to protect her from the boy.

"Don't worry. I think I've already messed it up" Bailee mutters. She had never thought about relationships. She didn't have time to herself at the foster homes, once she got the job at the FBI her main focus was the cases then Foyet happened and now the situation with Aaron.

"How come?" Derek asks softly, he could tell she was embarrassed and upset about something. He knew if she didn't talk to someone now, she would bottle things up. He had just gotten her to a stable place at the moment. Derek didn't want her to take steps back.

Bailee sighs looking out of the window "I haven't had a boyfriend before or any real conversation apart from Samuel and Markus. I think that case with Christopher was the first real conversation with a guy apart from foster families."

Derek was stunned at her confession. She was beautiful she didn't wear much makeup only mascara and lip-gloss. Her outfits were simple leggings and hoodies most days. She simply didn't care of what people thought of her and he respected her for that.

"So? There is no deadline for you to have a boyfriend. You choose when you want that extra person in your life." Derek says softly to her.

"Why do you think you've messed it up".

"Don't laugh" Bailee says already knowing he will laugh.

"I promise" Derek states.

"He said he wanted to get to know me and asked me on a date." Bailee whispers.

Derek furrows his eyebrows "So? Isn't that a good thing?" parking the car.

"I guess. But it was my reply that was terrible" Bailee explains getting out of the car shutting the door.

"Surely it wasn't that bad" Derek grabs Bailee bag from her shoulder as they both walk into the BAU office.

"Oh it's bad" Bailee cringes.

"Tell me" Derek says. Bailee pulls out her phone and shows him the message. There was no way she would verbally say the worst reply ever. Derek eyes widen, biting him lip triyng to stop himself from laugh.

Bailee pouts crossing her arms "I told you not to laugh" Derek couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing.

"Bailee....I'm sorry.....but did you actually say that" Derek looks back at Bailee's phone as they arrived to their floor.

"What else was I suppose to say" Bailee tries to defend herself. Sitting down in Derek's seat at his desk.

"Well....you want an honest answer" Derek chuckles.

"An honest answer for what?" Prentiss questions as the rest of the team walk up to them.

Bailee shakes her head "Nothing". The team gives Derek a curious look.

"Don't you dare" Bailee stated to Derek not wanting to be embarrassed any more than she already is.

"Bailee here needs a lesson in communication over the phone." Derek grins at the death glare he was getting from her.

"Why would she need that?" JJ questions.

Garcia gasps "Oh.....my...little hacker......has a boyfriend"

"Boyfriend?" Rossi asks Derek who nods with a smirk.

"Who has a Boyfriend?" Hotch asks walking toward the team. Bailee closes her eyes cursing Derek in her head.

"No one." Bailee shouts.

"Well....with your reply that's probably true" Derek mumbles.

"Is it bully Bailee day or something" Baillie says still glaring at Derek.

"I'm lost" Hotch concludes looking at Bailee then back to Derek.

"A guy asked for Bailee's number. He asked her on a date...she thinks she screwed up with her reply" Derek explains.

"I bet it wasn't that bad," Rossi says trying to defend Bailee.

Derek snorts "that's what I thought till I actually saw her reply".

"What was her reply?" Reid asks. Derek looks at Baille silently telling her it's up to her to tell the team.

"Ok. Cool" Baillie mumbles looking at her feet.

"You said Ok. Cool" Prentiss asks.

"Yep" Bailee whispers "I haven't um had a boyfriend before" She adds.

Aaron's eyes soften as well as the teams when they see how vulnerable she looks. Aaron walked closer to her "That doesn't matter if this is your first date. Ok?. no one is judging you. You've had a rough life so far. That's not you're fault"

"He's right Bailee. If this guy wants to get to know you. He will have to understand that you struggle with certain things" Rossi was glad Aaron had stepped up and talked to Bailee like a father, even when he was at work. Bailee gives them both a small smile, Her relationship with Aaron was slowly getting somewhere civil.

"We can help you get ready" Garcia points to Prentiss and JJ.

"I want to be there when he picks up you" Aaron states. He was scared she would reject his offer but she just looked at him confused. Which made him continue "I have missed way too many firsts in your life so far Bailee. Things are still rocky between us which I completely understand but I don't want to miss my daughter going on her first date" Bailee nods her head, speechless to actually give him a verbal response. The team was surprised at his statement but proud nonetheless that he was trying.

"Guess it's a family night at Derek's" Bailee says looking at the team who laugh at her.

"It's your home too Bailee" Derek says seriously.

"Serious conversation over. Back to the date what's his name?" Garcia questions.

"Is he cute?" JJ asks.

"How tall is he?" Prentiss asks.

"His name is Donavan. Donavan Young"
