It had been a few weeks since Bailee had any contact with her old team. They would call and leave voicemails, but Bailee never listened to them. What was the point? Their caring was all an act. They used her for cases, and when they didn't need her anymore their boss threw her away like trash. Her wound was fully healed if she turns quickly, it would ache but other than that she was back to normal. Apart from the drinking habit she became addicted too. Her bio parents left her, foster families never worked out, and her work family didn't truly care, they just wanted her for her talent. Drinking seemed to be the way to cope, her pain disappeared she never thought she would turn to alcohol since what happened at some foster families, but she didn't seem to care. After meeting with her new team that she was transferred to, introducing herself with fake smiles she got dressed in a short black dress and when out to a club. Her new routine.

The first night she went out her anxiety was high, scared her fake ID wouldn't work but after the bouncer let her through, she relaxed and met a bunch of people her age, they were friendly and welcomed her into their group instantly. She didn't want to give them the title of being friends in case something happened, and she was left again. She was mostly close to Samuel and his boyfriend Markus and stayed with them like tonight. She was finally drinking letting go of her problems, dancing along to the music not seeing an older guy in the crowd with narrowed brown eyes staring at her with shock and anger.

Stumbling in her steps she shouts over the music to Samuel and Marcus "I'm going to get another drink, you want one?" The couple glanced at each other and nodded. "We'll come with you"

"Okie Dokie" Bailee giggled. Samuel who is the most responsive one asks "Aren't you at work tomorrow"

"Yup" Bailee states.

"What's the time?" Marcus turns to his boyfriend.

"Time for you to get.....a watch" Bailee answers laughing at her joke.

"Girl you are wasted. Come on let's go you can stay at ours again" Samuel shakes his head.

Bailee pouts "want to hear a joke"

The couple got used to Bailee's behavior quickly when she was sober she would be shy and friendly but when she was drunk she was wild and loud, they loved how much confidence she gained.

"Sure red" Marcus calls her his nickname for her.

"What's....the.... what's the best thing about Switzerland?"

"hmmm, I'm not sure" Samuel shrugs. "I don't know....but the...the flag is a big plus" Bailee bursts out laughing.

Marcus turns to his boyfriend "How does she never remember that she says this joke every night out"

"I have no clue" Sam answers, as an older guy walks up to them. "Excuse me can I see some ID here"

Marcus turns to the guy "Um why? we showed the bouncer before we came in?"

"Because I know for a fact that girl there is underage, she's seventeen" The man sates looking at Bailee with sadness.

Bailee who recognized the voice squealed "Oh....my goodness....do you have a twin....you look like my chocolate thunder"

Derek sighed knowing Bailee was fully drunk. "Bailee it's me"

"Me who? I feel sorry for you, who would name their child me, that's torture" Bailee puts a hand on his shoulder.

"How many drinks has she had?" Derek looks at the two guys.

"We lost count, she normal stays at our place when she goes over her limit" Sam says confused on who this guy is.

"She'll me coming with me, Don't argue. I'm a FBI agent and if you don't want to be arrested for underage drinking I suggest you guys leave"

"We aren't that stupid. Show us some ID" Mark crosses his arms. Derek huffs just wanting to get Bailee out of the club but still pulls his ID out and shows the two men.

"Alright"

"Sammy? Marky? don't leave me" Bailee pouts. The couple come over giving her a hug each and a kiss on her forehead "Don't worry, we'll call you in the morning all right get some sleep"

Bailee turns to Derek "Me you are being really rude, I was having such a good night"

"My name is Derek not me" Derek explains walking to the exit with Bailee.

"Derek? I had a best friend called Derek" Bailee blurts out. Derek raises an eyebrow "Really? What was he like?"

"Amazing, I had.... had no friends....he was my first"

"Oh" Derek didn't know that she hadn't had friends before working with the team.

"He's not my friend no more though" Bailee tells Derek who was shocked "Why not"

"He didn't really care. I was a toy for his.....work......it was all an act" Bailee mumbles climbing into his car.

"Who said that" Derek had a feeling, the team were already pissed off with Hotch for was he did, but to hear what he actually said to her he was fuming.

"Hot chocolate, noo hotpot....nooo....hotshot..... wait it was Hotch that's the name"

Derek was gripping the steering wheel so tight. "He lied Bailee"

"No, he didn't, my bios didn't want me, why would anyone else" Bailee questions before falling asleep.

The anger in Derek increased, it was four in the morning since Bailee left it had taken longer to complete a case. He saw a message from JJ informing them of another case. Sighing he turned on his sirens and dropped Bailee off at his apartment, carrying her into his spare bedroom with water and pain killers on the bedside table. Kissing her forehead "I care Bailee, I will never stop"

When Derek got to the BAU he ignored the shouts from his co-workers and stormed into the briefing room, going straight up to Hotch his boss, and punched him in the face, causing him to fall backward.

Rossi pulled Derek back from striking again. "Calm down"

"No I won't calm down, how dare he. I don't give a damm that you're my boss, that little girl did nothing but work her ass off for this team." Derek shouts.

"What's going on?" JJ asks seeing the tension in the room.

"Maybe ask Hotch here who told Bailee that we don't care about her!"

"WHAT" the team shouts.

"I didn't say that" Hotch tries to defend himself.

"Oh really? I just saw Bailee at a nightclub completely drunk out of her mind. Is that the girl you remembered working here"

"She said that we were acting our concern for her, using her for her skills, she's a seventeen-year-old girl with a terrible past which you knew and you played with her insecurities" Derek adds clenching his fists.

"Of course we care about her" Prentiss exclaims.

"Well, she doesn't believe a word anyone says anymore her words were 'my bios didn't want me so why would anyone else? ' You have broken that girl, she's not the shy and timid girl that we knew. In two weeks, she now a closed off, hurt, upset girl who has had to turn to alcohol to the point she becomes numb."

Rossi glares at Hotch at the comment Bailee made about her bio parents. He knew this would turn out terrible. He's only made it worse. Hotch looks at his team emotionless "Where is she?"

"At mine. You aren't coming near her until you sort yourself out"

"That doesn't matter. She needs to come in."

"What"

"We need to talk to her about Brian Walsh"

"Why?"

"His daughter was found dead this morning, the local detectives have probable cause that he killed her" Hotch explains.

"What does that have to do with Bailee?" Derek spits out the words.

"Brian was Bailee's last foster father"

———————————————-

Here's another chapter, I kinda had nothing to do so I decided to write today.

Doesn't look so good for Hotch and Bailee's relationship. :/

Next chapter will be about Bailee's past and what foster care was like for her.
