"How did you both manage to see Jungkook and bring him here with you? Does his father know that you took him here?" Suga asked, as soon as Jungkook went inside the ICU.

"Don't even mention that asshole's name in front of me. If he wasn't Kookie's father, I would've punched him on his face." Jin said, seething from anger, while Namjoon patted his shoulder to calm him down.

"It's alright Jinie, it's over now, so don't think about him and ruin your mood." Namjoon said, trying to comfort an angry Jin while others looked at them confusedly.

Namjoon looked at his friends and then went on to explain what happened with Mr. Jeon and how they brought Kookie here with them. The more he explained, his friend's face went from shock to fury to anger in a matter of seconds.

"How dare that bastard say that about our Tae? I won't leave that asshole. I don't care if he is Kookie's father. Nobody talks like that about my brother and gets away with it." Jimin said, fisting his hands while his eyes were red from anger.

"Jimin is right. It was a good thing that it was you and Jin who spoke to him, if it was me I would've broken his teeth instead of just threatening him." said Suga who was also burning with anger.

"But what are we going to do now? We can't send Jungkook back home knowing his father could take him out of the country without his consent." Hobi asked, getting worried for the younger.

"Why would we send him back there? He is going to live with us in our home. Aren't we his family too?" Jimin said, with determination.

"That's up to Jungkook to decide. We'll think about all of this later. It's not important right now. Jimin what did your dad say?" Namjoon asked, putting an end to their debate.

"He said he is coming. He should be here any moment now." No sooner had the words left Jimin's mouth, a running and panting Mr. Park came into their view. Jimin immediately spotted him and called him to gain his attention. Mr. Park saw his son waving at him and went to where he was standing with his friends.

"How is he? Did you talk to the doctor? What did the doctor say?" Mr. Park asked as soon as he reached their side.

"Dad, calm down. You'll increase your blood pressure at this rate and Tae is fine. He is out of danger, but the doctor said he will have to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks at least, before he fully recovers. Right now he's in the ICU. We are just waiting for him to wake up." Jimin explained, making his dad sit on the chair while Suga handed him a water bottle which Mr. Park gulped down. He was extremely worried ever since he heard the news from his son. Taehyung used to get into fights always, a fact for which both he and his wife always scolded him, but he never got himself into any serious situation where they had to worry about his life being in danger. The last thing any parent wants is to see their kids hurt or worse.

"And how is Jungkook? Is he alright?" Mr. Park questioned. He knew about Jungkook from Taehyung, but he never knew he was Mr. Jeons son. He came to know that only when Jimin called him about Taehyung's incident. 'Out of all the people in the world you had to chose Mr. Jeon's son, didn't you', he mused.

"He's alright dad. He's inside with Tae. He was crying too much and wanted to see Tae, so we took permission from the doctor to let him see Tae for once."

Why didn't you tell me the moment you found out about his missing? I know Tae, he is stubborn and adamant. He would rather go through hell alone than ask for help, but what about you? Even you didn't think once about informing me. I could have helped if I had known or have I become a stranger to you both now that you live separately?" Mr. Park said, disappointed in his sons.

"It's not like that dad, you know that. The situation itself was like that. At first we thought that he was only missing, maybe he lost his way while he ran away from home. So we thought we could find him. It was only when we received that video of Kookie, we got to know that he was kidnapped. By then it was too late and Jungkook's life was at stake. So we did what we thought was best at the time. Taehyung's only priority was to save Kookie which he did, but we didn't know it would be at the expense of his own life. If we had known, do you think I would have let him go there alone? Trust me dad, I feel guilty enough as it is." Jimin said, crying. Mr. Park felt guilty seeing his son crying.

"I am sorry son. I didn't mean to say all that. I was just worried and scared. It's a parent's nightmare to find out about their kid being hurt and I felt angry and hurt that you both kept this all from me." Mr. Park said, hugging his crying son.

"Please don't say sorry uncle and trust me Taehyung knows how much you love him and he loves you too and he will be hurt if he finds out that he caused you pain." Namjoon said, comforting both father and son. It felt like all they've been doing today was crying. Jimin and Mr. Park sat on the chairs, holding each other, while the others just stood nearby.

Jungkook was crying his heart out. Everything that he had been holding in since he got kidnapped, came pouring out. The fear he felt when he ran away from home, the anxiety and disgust he felt when Kai touched him, the relief he felt when he was saved and the unbearable pain he felt in his heart when he saw his lover lying on the hospital bed, he let out everything.

Taehyung wanted to comfort him, to hold him, but his body wouldn't cooperate. His mind was still hazy and he had trouble keeping his eyes open. He tried moving his hands, but winced at the pain. Jungkook who heard the hiss from Taehyung's mouth was immediately alert. He saw what his boyfriend was trying to do and immediately stopped him.

"No hyung, please don't try to move. I am ok, see your Kookie is alright." Jungkook said, wiping his tears. Taehyung's eyes fell on Jungkook's hand which was bandaged and on the bandage on his head and just like that all the memories of what happened flashed in his mind and he started crying. The helplessness, the anger, the pain, the fear and the guilt he felt finally came out. He was holding on throughout the day, because he couldn't afford to breakdown then, but now seeing his love in front of him, he finally broke down.

Jungkook got scared seeing his love crying his heart out. He thought Taehyung was in pain, so he immediately pressed the button the nurse showed him, while he himself tried not to cry. Soon a nurse came in and saw that the patient was awake, and immediately left to inform the doctor. Meanwhile Jungkook tried to calm Taehyung down.

The doctor rushed inside along with the nurse and immediately started to check on his patient. Jungkook sat still in his wheelchair in a corner silently watching them. The doctor gave another injection to Taehyung and within seconds he was sleeping once again.

"What happened to him doctor? Is he ok?" Jungkook asked, with tears in his eyes.

"He will be alright, young man. In fact it is a good sign that he woke up. He still has a long road ahead of him before he can recover completely, but he is out of the woods for now." the doctor explained.

"Why did he fall asleep again, doctor? He just woke up."

"He is on some strong sedatives to help him with the pain, so he'll be sleeping most of the time. But don't worry, his body needs rest, so it can heal fast. I can see that you are also injured. Why don't you also rest in your room? He won't wake up again for a few hours. You can visit him again later."

Jungkook didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay next to his hyung, but his body was exhausted and his eyes were getting heavy for some time now. He was struggling to not fall asleep. In the end he decided to listen to the doctor. He needs to be healthy if he has to take care of his hyung, so he nodded his head and the nurse wheeled him out of the room, but not before he gave one last look at his lover. 'Sleep well hyung, your bunny will be waiting for you when you wake up.'

His friends were waiting just outside the ICU and as soon as they saw the nurse coming out with Jungkook they rushed towards him. Namjoon took the wheelchair from the nurse and thanked her.

"Kookie are you alright? How is Tae? Is he fine? Why are you crying Kookie?" Jimin bombarded him with questions.

"He woke up hyung, just for a little while and then slept again. The doctor said it is because of the medicines. He is in so much pain, hyung. He was crying hyung. It hurts me to see him like this." Jungkook said, again breaking down in tears when he remembered Taehyung's state and how he cried.

Everyone had tears in their eyes listening to Jungkook.

"Hey Kookie, can I call you Kookie?" Mr. Park asked, coming forward. Jungkook was taken aback by the stranger. He didn't know who he was, but still nodded.

"Well, this is not how I imagined meeting you for the first time, but it looks like fate had other plans. So let me introduce myself to you, since none of these idiots are going to." Mr. Park said, pointing to the 5 boys who looked offended at the statement.

"My name is Park Jae-Sung. I am Jimin and Taehyung's father. I don't know if that brat son of mine had told you about me, but I have heard a lot of things about you. All good things, I promise and I must say he wasn't exaggerating when he said his boyfriend looks like an angel." Jungkook was suddenly embarrassed and shy, meeting his boyfriend's father for the first time. He also felt nervous and scared that he might blame Jungkook for his son's condition, after all it's all his fault. He wished that his hyung was with him to hold his hands and to tell him that everything will be alright. Jungkook bowed immediately showing his respect.

"Hello Mr. Park, It's nice to meet you and hyung has told me a lot about you too and I am sorry for what happened to hyung. You can punish me if you want, after all it's my fault that hyung is in this condition." Jungkook said, lowering his head in shame.

"Are you sure that you are Jungwan's son? You are not adopted are you?" Mr. Park questioned, while Jimin facepalmed. He knew only his father could joke in a situation like this. Jungkook immediately lifted his head up and looked at Mr. Park in confusion. Out of all the response he expected, this wasn't one of them,

"Huh, what do you mean Mr. Park?"

"Ok first of all don't call me Mr. Park, it's too formal. You can call me uncle like these other idiots here." Mr. Park said once again making the others look at him like 'what the hell'.

"And to answer your question, no son of Mr. Jeon can be so polite and good. I mean no offense, but your father is the devil incarnate. So how did an angel like you come from your father?" Mr. Park questioned in all seriousness, while Jungkook just gaped at him not knowing how to answer that. Thankfully Jimin came to his rescue.

"Dad you're being weird again and Kookie please don't pay any attention to this old man here. He doesn't have a filter. So don't feel bad." Mr. Park had a look of betrayal on his face, while the others tried not to smile.

"Kookie, you should rest now. You must be exhausted. Do you want to go back to your room?" Jin asked, looking at the tired face of the younger. Jungkook gave a slight nod and Namjoon immediately came forward to wheel him to his room.

"Wait, we'll also come with you. There is no point standing here, since Tae won't be waking up any time soon." Jimin said, getting up to follow his friends.

They all made their way to the VIP section, where Jungkook's room was, and thankfully his father wasn't there. They guessed that he must have left after Namjoon threatened him. They looked at Jungkook to see if he was sad, but Jungkook looked like he didn't even notice his father's absence, so they too decided not to say anything to make the younger sad. Jin and Jimin helped Jungkook into the bed and covered him with a blanket, while the others too decided to stay in the room and take rest for some time. The room was pretty spacious enough for all of them considering it was a VIP room.

Jungkook was fast asleep the moment his head hit the pillow, the exhaustion and his injuries catching up to him. The other's rested on the couches talking quietly among themselves so as to not disturb Jungkook.

"He must've been really tired. He fell asleep so fast." Jin said, looking at the sleeping figure on the bed.

"You can't blame him. He went through a lot in just a day. I was worried that he'll have a breakdown after everything, but surprisingly he's holding himself up pretty well. He's strong." Namjoon commented.

"He's staying strong for Tae, because Tae needs him now. I just hope he won't break down later." said Jimin, with worry etching his voice.

"He won't and even if he did, we're all here for him. He's not alone." Suga said, comforting his boyfriend.

"You know they both really love each other. First there was Tae who was trying not to breakdown, because Kookie needed him and now here is Jungkook who is trying to stay strong for Tae. They really do belong together. I just hope that no one tries to separate them again." Hobi said, while everyone nodded their head agreeing.

"You're right Hobi, first there was that bitch Jennie, who kidnapped Kookie, then Mr. Jeon, who came like a villain in their love story and if that wasn't enough that asshole Kai came out of nowhere and almost killed my brother. I swear to God, if anymore people try to come between them I'm going to lose it, especially that devil father of his. Dad I'm telling you, do something about his father, or else I'm going to kick his ass to mars, then he can build an empire there with his fellow martians and rule there." Jimin said, huffing while others just looked at him like he had lost his mind.

"Are you sure you want him as your boyfriend? You know it's not too late to backout. We all will support you." Hobi said, whispering in Suga's ears while Suga just elbowed him in the ribs.

"Ok first of all Jimin, language and second, what language are you talking and third, can you talk about anything without being a drama queen?" Mr. Park asked his son, wondering how he got a son like him.

"Dad, I'm serious you've to do something about Mr. Jeon. He already tried to separate them once, and the result is in front of you. And today, he was again trying to take Kookie away from here. It was only because Namjoon threatened him by saying that he'll make him tomorrow's front page news, that he let Kookie come with us. But I'm sure he's not going to go away quietly. We have to protect them both." Jimin said, being serious.

Mr. Park was unaware of this bit of news that he tried taking Kookie once again. Personally, he wasn't a fan of the guy, considering they both had different philosophies when it comes to business and family. To Mr. Park, family was, is and always will be his first priority, while Mr. Jeon eats, lives and breathes business. They were never rivals per se, but because of their different perspectives and ideologies when it comes to a lot of things, they've maintained a healthy distance from each other. But looks like this time that distance needs to be crossed and when it comes to his family, he'd cross any distance.
