When Jungkook was walking towards his class from the cafeteria he could feel people staring at him.

"Huh is there something on my face? Why do I feel like everyone is looking at me." He made his way to his locker when he heard a group of students talking.

Girl 1: Who was that new boy sitting with the Bangtans? I thought they don't let anyone enter their group. So many students have tried to gain their attention and to get a seat at their table, but they have never let anyone in. So who is that mystery boy.

Girl 2: I know right. Not even Jenny has ever been invited to sit with them and she even has a history with V. Whoever that boy is he is very lucky.

Boy 1: It's got nothing to do with luck. I am sure he is fucking one of them. There is no other way they would let someone in otherwise.

Boy 2: By that logic many girls and boys in this college should be sitting there. Since they have fucked a lot of them. Maybe he is dating one of them.

Girl 1: Oh my God don't tell me that another one of them is out of market. Who do you think it is?

Girl 2: Well Jin and Namjoon is already out that leaves the remaining 4.

Boy 1: Whoever it is it must be pretty serious if they let him sit with. They definitely wouldn't let a casual hookup sit at their table.

Jungkook had tears in his eyes listening to them. He took his books out of the locker and immediately left from there while someone was burning in anger watching him walk away. He wasn't the only one who heard what the students were gossiping about and that someone was beyond angry.

"Why, why Tae, for 2 years I have been patient. We used to be friends, we even slept together, but not once have you ever let me come to your table let alone sit with you. What is so special about this new guy that you all allowed him into your precious group. I really hope you are not the one who is dating him Tae, because if you are you'll see another side of me and trust me tae you  won't like it." Jenny thought.

Jungkook came inside his class and sat in the back. He doesn't know what to think. People saying mean things about him is nothing new to him. Infact he has heard a lot worse. But this time it wasn't just about him they were talking about but they were also talking about his hyungs. And that hurt him more than anything they could ever say about him. He was brought out of his thoughts when someone poked his shoulder.

"Hello, my name is Park min-jae. I saw you in professor Choi's class. You seem like a good guy. How about being friends?"

"Hello Min jae ssi, my name is Jeon Jungkook and sure I'd like to be your friend." Jungkook said and they both shook hands.

"So Jungkook do you want to go together to the fresher's party this Friday?"

"Huh fresher's party. I don't think I am invited. Nobody told me about it. And even if I was invited I don't think I'll be going. I don't like parties."

"It's a fresher's party Jungkook of course you are invited. And who doesn't like parties. Even all the seniors will be there. Come on Jungkook it will be fun."

"I'll think about it Min-jae ssi."

"Alright let me know if you change your mind. We can go together."

The professor walked in and all conversations died out. The rest of the class went on uneventful. As soon as the final bell rang, Jungkook took his bag and ran out.

Taehyung was walking out of his class when he got a message from Jimin saying that he and Hobi has dance practice so they will be late. Taehyung just sighed.

"Great first Namjoon staying behind for his press club activities and of course if Namjoon was staying late then his boyfriend was going to stay back too and now Jimin and Hobi saying they will be late too. Guess it's just me and Suga now." Taehyung thought.

He didn't take two steps before his phone dinged again. He took his phone out only to see a message from suga this time telling him that he is staying back to work on a new music piece.

"Unbelievable, I can't believe all of them ditched me. Now what the hell am I supposed to do all alone. I guess just go back home and wait for one of them to call me."

Taehyung began walking towards parking lot. He was just about to get on his bike when a voice stopped him.

"Hey Tae, are you leaving? Why are you going alone? Where are your friends?" Jenny asked

"What do you want Jenny? Whatever it is I don't have time for it so can you please move?"

"Why do you always have to be so rude to me. Can't you talk nicely just once?"

"Are you done, then move I don't have time for your shit."

"Why Tae, you got someone else in your  life now. Are you seeing someone else. Tell me those rumors about you and that new boy that was sitting at your table is not true?"

"Jungkook, what has he got to do with anything and what rumors are you talking about?"

"Oh so his name is Jungkook. Tell me tae why was he at your table. You guys never allow anyone to sit with you then why did you let this Jungkook sit with you?"

"Who we allow and who we don't allow to sit with us is our decision and it's nobody's business. And don't you dare say some shit about Jungkook. Consider it a warning."

Taehyung started his bike and zoomed past her leaving Jenny fuming behind. He was already in a bad mood because his friends all ditched him. The last thing he needed was Jenny's bullshit.

"What rumor was she talking about?" Taehyung thought.

He was just about to cross the gate when he saw a familiar brown head standing near the gate. Taehyung went towards him and stopped his bike in front of him.

"Jungkook, what are you doing here standing alone. Are you waiting for someone?" Taehyung asked

"Actually hyung my driver called me saying that our car broke down on the way. He is getting it fixed but it will take some time. So I have no other option than to wait. But why are you alone hyung, where are the other hyungs?" Jungkook said.

"Well they all have stuff to do, so they'll be late. So it's just me. Now hop on I'll drop you home."

"What no no hyung I'll wait for my driver. You don't have to bother hyung. I'll manage."

"Jungkook if you think that I am going to leave you standing here for God knows how long alone then you are out of your mind. Now are you going to get on the bike by yourself or should I do it?"

"Hyung I, it's just I have never been on a bike before."

Taehyung smiled when he said that.

"Come on I'll help you. Come here."

Jungkook came and stood in front of Taehyung. Taehyung made him wear a helmet and then helped him to get on the bike. Taehyung had to admit that Jungkook looked too adorable with the helmet on his head and a pout on his face.

"Hold on to me Kookie I ride very fast."

Jungkook timidly held onto Taehyung's jacket but the moment Taehyung sped up his hands automatically came towards the front and he held onto Taehyung for dear life.When Taehyung felt Jungkook hugging his waist his breath caught. He liked the feeling of Jungkook's hands around his waist a bit too much for his liking. No one has ever ridden in his bike other than Jimin before. He always said that he will never let anyone ride on his bike. Taehyung has known Jungkook for a total of 2 days and he is already breaking all his rules. First with allowing him to sit with them at their table and deciding to be his friend and now he is giving him a lift on his bike. But he has to admit it feels nice to have Jungkook on his bike.

Jungkook loved it. At first he was scared  but then when he felt the wind hitting his face he felt alive and happy and carefree.

"Taehyungie hyung go faster."

Taehyung increased the speed as soon as Jungkook said that. He looked in the mirror and saw Jungkook laughing and that was the most beautiful sound he ever heard. Taehyung wanted to make him laugh more. So he decided to take the longest route possible. Jungkook looked so happy. In this 2 days if Taehyung has learnt anything about Jungkook it's that he is very innocent who finds happiness in the littlest things and that he always speaks what's in his heart and his face shows every emotion that he is feeling. Jungkook is like an open book. What you see is what you get. Even when he spoke about getting bullied in his school he was talking like it was no big deal but Taehyung could see the pain that he was trying to hide behind his eyes.

Taehyung doesn't want this ride to end. He wants to keep going. He has never felt this happy and content before. Yes Taehyung has a happy life. He has the best family and the best friends anyone could ever ask for. He has never felt like he was missing anything. He has been with his shares of both boys and girls but never has he felt anything for any of them. Whenever his friends encouraged him to date he would always deny. It's not that he doesn't believe in love. It's just that Taehyung is very practical when it comes to all this. He knows exactly what he wants and he strives to achieve his goals. 

Apart from the fact that he has never felt any kind of attraction towards anyone he also knows that even if he were to date someone in the future his friends and his dreams will always come first and he doesn't think anyone would put up with that. I mean who would want to be number 2 in someone's life. But if he is telling the truth then he will admit that another reason for him not interested in any relationship is that he doesn't want to end up like his mother.

 His parents loved each other very much. They were best friends turned lovers turned couples. They were each other's rock. Growing up Taehyung always looked up to them and wanted to be like them. But everything changed when his father passed away in an accident. He was heartbroken, but his mother more so. She didn't just lose her husband, she lost her best friend, her lover and her entire childhood and adulthood. She didn't know a life without him in it. So after a few days of his father's death his mother passed away too. The doctors said it was a heart attack but he knew better. He knew his mother didn't die of a heart attack but she died of a broken heart.

He had seen the kind of love his parents shared. It was a once in a lifetime kind of love. But he has also seen the pain it left behind. And it's that pain that scares him that keeps him from ever having a real relationship. He is terrified of ever letting anyone have that kind of power over him that their mere absence will be the death of him.
