[Sugar coated, lies unfolded. You still lick the wrapper. It's addictive, you know this but you still lick the wrapper.]

"My son will be soon joining the business, father."

The old man grinned, looking down at the little boy staring at the toys placed in front him as expected his grand child had lost all interest in what supposedly called 'normal childhood'. He knew this was the child he was waiting for, those pair of silver eyes he owned weren't as innocent as some people thought and he would make sure it stays that way.

Piero was foolish enough to disobey him and run from his very fate but he sure did raise a child that ignited the lost flames in his heart. The old man smiled when the child looked up at him.

"How old was he?"

"He is eight now."

Three years...that child had been with them for three years and never ever did he complain or cry when gruesome things were thrust in front him. He was fascinated, he saw in him the younger version of himself. Those eyes held no emotion and the normal days with his parents long gone and extremely intelligent to not whine in such situation knowing if the child did, he wouldn't mind scoring a hole through his tiny head. Blood or not, if there was a hint of fear in them, they are deemed dead rather than letting them live a cowardly life.

"Melissa stand there." He pointed at the space in front of them, the maid obliged.

"Now Rebus will you listen to what your old man say."

"Yes."

"Good hold this and aim it on her head."

There was short silence, the maid gulped confused if her master was playing a trick on her or was it real...

"How old are you Melissa?"

His tiny hand took the gun from the old man and looked at her.

"Eighteen young master."

"How sad.." There was no hint of remorse in his voice as he pulled the trigger and fired the gun over and over again till her body fell on the ground, numb.

There was a hysterical laugh echoing throughout the room and it was from the old man. He just couldn't believe how obedient and fearless the child was. Three years of torture really didn't go in vain because he learned everything. He was amused or call it impressed of the child unlike his two unworthy son, useless but he had no option but keep them.

"Rebus, you impress this old man. You are wiser than that stupid bastard." He said narrowing his eyes to Jason. Yes Jason was not qualified to become the actual heir to his growing empire, he lacked everything except insanity while the one son who was far most the best pick choose to leave his place.

Jason just smiled as he stared at the child...his child lovingly. It was a gift from his father for eliminating Ella out of Piero, his younger brother's life. Everyone knew how much those two were in love but before he killed her, he did something so unthinkable.

He had a night with her alone in a discarded room, all those years of him showering her with his love she choose Piero over him and he asked why.

All she said was...

"You are evil man, Jason. I could never find myself to actually love you."

He was hurt and to chase away the sting in his heart. He had kissed her one last time before drilling a hole through her head with his gun.

He was so sad.

But when he looked at the child in front of him, he felt a little relief knowing that all his love didn't just vanish when he killed his ex wife Ella. After all Rebus was a part of the women whom he loved so dearly that he killed her for hurting his feelings.

Love was deep but it was also frightening.

This was the way the Schwarz's men loved their women.

"I'm so proud of Erubus." He smiled down at him.

"Call him rebus, Jason. He is not really darkness." The old man laughed walking out of the room.

From the next day his training started.

He was taught Martial Arts by a very strict and wise master called Roshi whom Rebus stunned him with his talent.

This kid was different, Rishi noted.

Even when he was just eight, he was very much sync with his mind, body and soul. Through this tough training, he hardly whined but followed all orders given to him. He was learning way faster than other disciple he had ever trained.

"Do you not feel any pain, son?"

One fine morning Master Roshi asked and was very curious for an answer. The boy stretched his limps and got into a fighting position.

"I suppress it, when I'm strong enough I will use it to kill everyone who hurt her."

Silence followed after, he didn't ask anymore question because he understood now. There was a hideous monster lurking inside him, locked right now but as he grow it might become something horrendous. He trained him from almost two years before parting ways.

There was nothing he could teach anymore. Everything he knew the boy learned it all.

"You've trained him well, Roshi."

Jason smiled at him and so did he.

"Yout child is very intelligent, he learns things so quick that it only took two years."

Of course for some it took about more than ten years to finally grasp the concept of martial arts. What master Roshi didn't know was the fact that it wasn't only his training the child was going through..he went through a lot and lots of brutal training in different section.

CRAVING SWEET

"Who was your first kill?" His partner nudged him. He rolled his eyes before answering.

"A maid."

"Now shut up and focus."

He really hated having a partner while he was on the duty.

"The cars approaching from the east, might as well as get ready."

He didn't even get the time to get his gun ready when he heard something swipe beside him, almost near his ear.

"What the heck!"

"Our works done."

Rebus packed his guns and walked out of the rooftop while the man he left behind stood shocked and when he looked down front he building, there was a lot of commotion going but to his surprise. He saw their target's body being dragged out of the car while their was a gun wound on his head.

Likely to survive.

"Damn his fast."

Among the secret assasin everyone knew about him but for the first time he saw the top assasin getting his job down so quick like rumours had been going around.

None knew about his identity or what he actually looked like since he had his face covered up with a mask.

And that was Hans memories from some five-six years ago.

He still had it freshly imprinted in his mind and of course they were paired again two or three times but he didn't talk much. He looked down at his buzzing phone and quickly hit the green sign.

"Hello?"

"Long time no see."

He smirked at that voice, who could forget that.
