I couldn't believe it. Two pink lines were staring up at me and I couldn't move. Tears rolled down my cheeks. After all this time, trying so hard to have a baby, it was finally happening. A grin broke out on my face as I tossed the test into the trash and rushed out of the bathroom. I had to tell Kip. Scooping up my cell phone from the table, I opened a new message. My fingers hovered over the keyboard, words jumbling in my head. This message had to be perfect. I typed a few words before hitting the backspace. Starting over, I typed half a message before quickly erasing it. What was I doing? I couldn't tell him through a text message. I had to do something bigger. Something more special. I shoved my phone into my back pocket and grabbed my car keys. Maybe a drive would clear my head and help me come up with a better plan.

My plan to clear my head had brought me to the mall where I wandered aimlessly, looking in store windows. I stopped when I saw it, a huge smile forming on my lips. It was perfect. I rushed into the store and grabbed a shirt in Kip's size, paid for it and rushed back to my car.

By the time I made it home, I had just enough time to fold the shirt and put it in Kip's drawer. I then made my way out to the kitchen to start making dinner. The front door opened soon after and Kip was behind me. "Hey, baby girl." He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.

I smiled at him, "Hey, how was your day?"

He stepped back and fell into a chair, "Good, but exhausting." I looked him over, noticing a stain on his t-shirt. I smirked. Perfect.

"Why don't you go change, babe?" I motioned to the stain and he nodded. He got up, mumbling to himself, and made his way into our bedroom. I turned back to the stove and continued stirring the pots.

"Babe?" I turned slowly to see Kip standing in the kitchen doorway, clutching the shirt I had bought for him this afternoon. He held the black shirt out to me, so that I could see the white block letters spelling out BABY DADDY. Kip stared at me, "What is this?"

"I'm pregnant." Kip dropped the shirt and rushed towards me, wrapping me in his arms and placing a searing kiss to my lips.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been exhausted lately. Requests are still closed. I totally forgot to tell you guys that I went to a Kip Moore concert earlier this month and while I've seen him live like 3 other times, this was the absolute best night of my life. Oh and guess who cried? That's right, it was me. Anyway, thanks for reading!
