Adam and I pulled up to the field where almost all of our friends had gathered. There was blankets and chairs set up in front of a large screen with the projector only a few feet away. I smiled over at Adam before sliding out of his truck and making my way over to some of our friends. While in the middle of my conversation, I felt Adam walk up behind me. He placed his hand on my lower back and I shivered at his touch. I could practically feel the smirk radiating from his face. I looked back and sure enough, he was smirking down at me. I only smirked back and pushed closer to him. He faltered for a second, but recovered quickly, placing a kiss on my temple. "Hey, Adam! Come give me a hand!" We turned to see our friend waving Adam over to the projector. Adam kissed my temple again before jogging over to see what the problem was.

I had been dragged over to another group of friends, who shoved a drink in my hand and started talking about the movie we were going to watch. I nodded along, but my gaze kept sliding over to Adam. This time our gazes met. Adam smirked and I noticed his eyes were a shade darker than usual. He nodded over to his truck. I smirked back before shaking my head and turning away. I focused on the conversation for a minute before turning my gaze to where Adam had been, but he was no longer standing there. I looked around, but I couldn't see him anywhere. And then suddenly there was someone behind me. I smiled as warm hands landed on my waist and Adam's hot breath was on my neck. Then his lips where placing gentle kisses on my neck, moving towards my ear, "We should get out of here."

I let out a breathy laugh, "We've been here for twenty minutes. We haven't even said hello to everyone."

"They won't miss us." I shook my head and leaned into his chest.

"We're staying." Adam groaned and I laughed. His hands slid around to rest on my stomach and he moved over to my other ear.

"Then I'm about to cause a scene right here." I turned in his arms and slapped his chest. He tightened his grip on my waist and leaned forward to press his lips to mine. I sighed into the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck.

I pulled back, "Okay, let's go." Adam smirked at me as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards his truck without so much as a backwards glance.
