Mina POV

Then, she walked alongside Chaeyoung, endless spewing facts about every animal we passed. I would lying if I said I wasn't annoyed. She walked in close proximity making it impossible for me to cut in. However, I managed to catch some of their conversation.

"You must have worked here for a long time. That's a lot of stuff to memorise." Chaeyoung points out.

"Not really. I'm actually a volunteer here. Its look good on my college applications. Once I finish high school. I'm going to study to be a marine biologist." She explain.

What the heck? She's in high school? Seriously? She looked so mature, I thought she was a college student or something. Shoot! I really feel annoyed right now as they keep talking about something that I don't interested. Am I even on a date anymore? How did I suddenly become a third wheel?

"Here we are." She points to penguin area. Even I love penguin so much as I love Cuddle, I lost all interest.

"What's wrong? Don't you like penguin?" Chaeyoung turns around to check on me.

"I'm going to the bathroom for a bit." I said.

Chaeyoung just nods, slightly confused by my sudden lack of enthusiasm.

Before I explode like a bomb, I needed to splash myself with some water. It may seem counter intuitive to leave the two of them alone but I need to. As I going back to Chaeyoung, a boy running crush on me.

"Oh my god. Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah." He weakly replied.

Then, a woman come to us and apologise to me as her kid running to me. I just said its okay then they walk away. I head back to find Chaeyoung, until I realised something. My entire shirt was smeared with ice cream the entire time. No wonder people kept giving me a strange looks. Finding a the nearest bathroom, I attempt to wipe it off with a wet paper towel. But, it still left a giant dark spot on the front of my shirt when I walked out. Chaeyoung stopped his conversation with the girl and ran up to me as he saw me.

"What took you to long? I was getting worried." He sighs.

"What happened to your shirt?" His eyes widened seeing my shirt.

"A kid running with ice cream happened." I laugh.

Soon, the girl walked up to us.

"Ready to keep going?" She asked a bit impatient.

"You can go ahead and help other people. We will just look around. Chaeyoung suggests keeping his eyes on my stomach.

"I don't mind." She said to Chaeyoung.

"Its fine, really." Chaeyoung replied.

"Don't worry. Its my pleasure." She said smiling to Chaeyoung.

She's really stubborn. She's getting me annoyed. Realising she wasn't going to leave, Chaeyoung didn't insist in it anymore.

"Wait here okay. I gotta go get something really fast." He pats my shoulder and jogs off somewhere, leaving me awkwardly standing there with her.

"You guys seem like really close friends." She comments still looking the way Chaeyoung go.

"We're dating actually." I replied.

"Oh, sorry." She laugh.

"Its because he patted your shoulder. Seems like a thing friends would do." She said underlying tones of malice.

Fuck! She's so annoying. Excuse for my languages everyone.

"We were friends for a long time." I said.

"I see. That makes sense." She giggles.

I swear. She's fucking annoying.

"Sorry?" I asked turned to her. Curious to know what she finds so amusing.

"Well, I have been in relationship with my friend before. It didn't last long. I only saw him as a friend the whole time." She said.

"If you're trying to tell me, my boyfriend isn't interested in me, you should say it directly. I have to put up with so much with passive aggressiveness already." I smile, returning the same underlying tones of malice she gave me.

"I'm only trying to give an advice. No need to get all worked up." Her smile dropped and so did mine.

"If you like my boyfriend so much, why don't you ask him out? I won't stop you, I promise." I said smiling to her.

"Fine. But don't get pissed when I do." She scoffs.

"I won't. I will even pay for your date if he accepts." I said laughing which ticks her off.

"Hope you won't regret it." She said trying to smile provokes me.

"I won't." I replied chuckle.

Then, she started smiling again. I knew Chaeyoung had come.

"Minari, here. You should change into this." Chaeyoung hands me a white tshirt with the penguin printed logo in the front.

"You didn't have to. My shirt was going to dry anyways." I said.

"It was a good opportunity. Now we can match." He beams smiling holding up a shirt of his own.

"Alright, thanks." I smile.

"We are going to go change. So you don't have to wait." Chaeyoung tell her.

"Don't worry. I will wait here." She insist once again.

We leave to change in the bathroom. Once I get out, Chaeyoung was already done waiting outside. He takes my shirt from me and leaves it with his on top of the picnic blanket inside the basket.

Chaeyoung POV

"Don't worry. I will wait here." She insist once again.

Aish, this girl really annoying. Don't her see that I'm coming with my girlfriend. We just leaving to change. I waiting for Mina outside once I done but not before I do something important.

"Aww, my girlfriend looks cute even in a tacky shirt." I coos pinching her cheek.

"My boyfriend as well." She pinch my cheek as well.

I smile even widen as she mention my as her boyfriend. Its so good to hear coming from her. I taking her hand and we walk in the opposite direction of the where we came from.

"Hmm, isn't she waiting for us?" Mina asked.

"Don't worry about her. She's busy." I snickered.

"Son Chaeyoung, what did you do?" She stop turning to me.

"Well, I paid a kid ten dollars to ask her a bunch of questions. We should hurry before she starts looking for us." I said dragged her as I chuckled to myself.

"Surprisingly, I like this side of you." She replied also chuckle.

"I paid a lot to hand out with my girlfriend. If I wanted to know facts about animals, I would watch those boring documentaries." I said.

She just laugh. We continued to walk until we reached the picnic area. Since it was next to the bird exhibit, a bunch of pigeons and peacocks were walking around and eating the leftover food people had dropped. I found a place relatively bird free, so that they wouldn't harass us while we ate and set up the picnic.

"I tried to baked. But.. these supposed to be heard shaped. But, it kinda melted in the oven." I said frowned.

Mina picked one up to try and her eyes went widen. I know its disgusting. I sighed.

"They taste really good!" Mina said.

"Don't lie." I sulked.

"I know its taste disgusting. I shouldn't brought them." I said looking down.

"Silly. Taste them." She picked one up and fed it to me. After chewing for it a bit, I smile.

"They taste okay at least." I said.

"They're not just okay, its really good. I might have to recruit you for the cooking club." She said laughing.

Everything was going well until the zoo volunteer girl plopped down next to me. I sigh silently.

"What a coincidence." She was short of breath.

Did she run away here just to find and disturb us? She's really something.

"Hey, we were going to have lunch. So we didn't bother to force you to follow us around." I explained scorching closer to Mina.

"Oh, I'm actually on my lunch break right now." She said but empty handed.

"I usually get food from one of the stands." She explained.

"I will go buy you something since you were such a great guide today." Mina suggest getting up.

Not again. She's really like to leave me alone with other girl.

"Wait, Mina-." I calls after her but she just wave to me and leave towards the nearest food stand.

"Hey, do you have fun today?" She asked.

"Hmm, yeah." I replied.

"Hmm, do you like to go out with me? Like a date? I think we both have some connection and similarity. So, I think we can get along well." She said.

"Oh, sorry. I have a girlfriend. I love her so much. Basically, this is our dated actually. But, we got so much disturbing from others. Yes, we have a similarity but I think it would be boring. So, I'm sorry." I said to her.

Then, Mina returned. The girl face was red and she hotly got up and left, kicking up some grass behind her in process. Mina approaches with two soft serves in hand.

"Where did she go?" She asked.

"Away, finally." I sighed.

"You bought her soft serves for lunch?" I asked.

"No, these are for us." She said hand me strawberry.

"Then, why did you say you were getting her lunch?" I asked confused.

"I knew she was going to leave." She happily continued to eat.

"Myoui Mina, what did you do?" I suspiciously questioned.

"She wanted to ask you out. So I let her." She replied.

"What? You let another girl ask out your boyfriend?" I stares at her, wide mouthed.

She just shrug. "She so confident that you would agree. So, I just let her be." She said.

"Why would you do that?" I asked disbelief.

"Because I knew it wasn't going to happened. I just wanted to get back at her." She replied.

"So, you make me sit uncomfortable with her and reject her?" I asked still disbelief.

"You're the one who wanted to ask about the stupid penguin." She said.

"For you." I groans.

"I know. The ice cream is a token of my appreciation." She said smiling.

It suddenly got quiet.

"Guess what?" I asked.

"What?" She asked nervously.

"Badass Mina is so attractive." I said laugh before taking my ice cream and smearing it ob her lips.

"Hey." She pout.

"You got something on your face." I said.

"Thanks, Captain obvious." She try to lick it off, but she miss a few spots.

I slides close to her, pull her face close with my free hand.

"Let me help." I said almost whisper.

I smashes my lips into her and she freeze. I lead our passion kissed as she closing her eyes. As much I don't want to stop but I had to as both of us need an oxygen.

"You... missed a spot.." She sheepishly said.

I smiles, placing my hand on her cheek this time and our lips met again. That ice cream must have been really stubborn, because it took us forever to get off.
