Mina POV

I now currently at my usual place. Yeah, even I'm okay with my friends I think I'm more suitable at this place. Plus, no one will disturb me here. This is like my hidden place. I try to take a nap when someone sit down next to me. Two actually. The duo, JB and Jackson.

"Sitting here alone?" JB asked.

"Leave me alone." I warn.

"Jeez, what did we do to you?"Jackson asked.

"Just go okay. Do what you guys usually do. I don't care as long as you leave me alone." I said.

"Why do you have to be such bitch? We just trying to keep you company since Chaeyoung won't." Jackson said chuckles.

"How do you know that?" I asked surprised.

"Everyone's knows. Its pretty obvious when you didn't come to school with him. Why? You guys have a fight?" Jackson said again.

"Go away. Its none of your business." I'm slightly bogged down by the fact.

"Well, you butted in between me and Momo. She broke up with me because of you." Jackson said a bit mad.

"Yeah, me and Nayeon too." JB added.

"They deserved better anyways. You guys are jerk. Eventually, they was going to." I coldly respond.

"You don't actually think we were interested on you right?" JB asked smugly.

"Yeah, you're definitely not out type." Jackson said.

"Yeah, I know that. You were trying to get back at Chaeyoung since Nayeon like him. And you think Momo like him too. But, in real life. Its because we all know you two are jerk. What a childish." I scoff.

"Bitch!" Jackson said.

"Whatever." I said.

Then, JB sliding closer to me. Out of irritation, I shove him away. To my surprise despite my infamous lack of strength, I manage to make him scrape an elbow on pavement.

"Look, I'm sorry. But you need to leave me alone." I said to them.

I turn to push myself up, but Jb pulls me back down by the elbow so hard make my wrist slams against the concrete.

"Chaeyoung probably only saw you as an easy piece of ass. What? He got tired of you body?" JB jeers.

"Chaeyoung isn't like that! Let me go!" I yell.

When JB's grip tighten, my free hands gropes around until it lands on the cup of my drink. Taking it, I pour its contents over JB's head. His mouth opening to gasp catching dribbled of drink running down his face.

"You fucking bitch!" JB growls.

He and Jackson quickly catches my hands and pinned me facing on the wall. JB grab my hair and push my face on the wall but I kept straight face despite the pain shooting from his grab.

"What? No Chaeyoung to protect you now?" They smirks.

Suddenly the realisation of crowd gathering due to our increasingly loud and hostile conversation. With more chatter, it drew more and more people who either filmed the altercation on their phone or stared not intervening. Seeing this, I had no choices but to engage in physically protecting myself.

I step hard on Jackson feet that make him groans and loose the grip. Then, I jerk my arm to the side causing JB to lose his grip too. Then, I twisting my torso, position my elbow and ram in into JB left rib. He yelps, loosening his hold on my hand so I could grab his arm, twist it behind him and I push him hard on the floor. Then, Jackson attack me from the back which is I aware and I trip his leg and he fell into JB on the floor. I then take their hand and twist it and pressed them against the ground. All of this happened so fast before I knew it. I was leaning on my weight on the groaning and cursing JB and Jackson. Laughter erupts from the crowd surrounding us.

"Holy fuck! JB and Jackson just got them ass whooped by a nerd." Someone said in the crowd.

"Wait, is that a girl? Mina?" I search around and find Dahyun who looking at me shocked.

"Dahyun!" I call in surprised.

"Shit! Chaeyoung!" Dahyun turns around to find Chaeyoung.

"No, no, no." I try to intercept.

I immediately stand up, JB and Jackson clamours to their feet and JB quickly push me, making me fell on the ground. Then, the crowd splits into two within seconds, making a clear path for Chaeyoung to run through. As soon as he arrived, he grab JB collars and throws a fist at his cheek. Then, he turn do the same to Jackson. It would have been worse if I hadn't pulled Chaeyoung. JB pressed his hands against his lips to see that it was cut and bleeding, probably inside his mouth too.

"What the fuck?" Jackson yell trying to stand up same as JB.

Chaeyoung lunges forward again but I try to grab onto his arms. When it fails, I wrap my arms around his chest from behind and cling into him, trying to slow him with my weight. Once I do this, Chaeyoung finally stops giving them enough time to stand up. I then realise that everyone's eyes on us makes me drop my arms and step back a bit.

"I'm fucking swear, if you two touch Mina one more time-." Chaeyoung starts to warn before JB interrupted him.

"She's the one who seduced us." JB groans, wiping blood from the corner of his lips.

"Yeah, she's the one who seduce us." Jackson adds.

"You bitch!" Chaeyoung again try to punch them but I quickly wrap my arms once again into him.

"You know they're lied. So, don't let them get over you." I whisper to Chaeyoung. 

"They're lied. I saw what happened." Someone yell from the crowd. Its Tzuyu.

"She's my friend. I know my friend won't do such thing. She's not like what people think about her. Plus, I have an evidence." She said.

Everyone starts whispering to each other making JB and Jackson uneasy.

"If I see you two come near or touch her again, I swear I will kill both of you. You deserve it for being an asshole." Chaeyoung warn.

He turns and without looking he grabs my hand and leads me in the opposite where JB and Jackson was standing. I follow without resistance and get into passenger seat when Chaeyoung open his car. He demeanour changed in the car. He seemed irritated but was quiet and kept his stare on the road and minimised  his frowning.

"Thanks." I try to break the silence.

"What were you thinking fight with two guys?" Chaeyoung asked, his tone cold.

"Well, they won't leave me alone. So, I have to defend myself." I replied.

"You can asked for helped you know? What if something happened to you? You're lucky you can beats them up. What if they are much more stronger than this?" He said sighing.

I just stay silent because I don't know what to replied.

"Hmm, about a few days ago. I'm sorry-." He cut me off.

"Let me ask you one thing. What happened to the necklace?" He asked.

I look down and check my neck to find that the penguin necklace was gone. Shoot! Where did I put it? Did I wear it or not? Shoot! I can't remember. Did I drop somewhere? Or did JB or Jackson pull it off? Shit! My mind was racing but I tried to compose myself to look calm.

"Oh, I probably left it on my dresser." I replied.

"No other reason?" He asked.

"Not really." I said.

As he drives, he reaches into his pocket and drops something into my lap. Picking it up, I realise its my necklace.

"How-how you get this?" I stutter in shock.

"I saw Tzuyu wear this last night at party. I even saw you." He said, his eyes kept on the road ahead.

Tzuyu? I'm trying to make sense of everything. Why would she wear my necklace? Is it possible she got the same kind? Oh, right! I forgot about she borrowing my jewellery.

"She-." He cut me off before I explain.

"I was really hoping you wouldn't lie to me. If you really don't have feeling towards me, you could tell me Mina. If you don't like it the gift, you could tell me." He sighed.

Before I can explain myself, he pull away to my driveway.

"We shouldn't be friends anymore. I don't want to be friends anymore. Its hurt Mina." He said.

"Chaeyoung, I-." He cut me again.

"I have to get go. So, you should hurry inside." He continues, his serious voice unwavering.

I sat glued to the seat. Continuing to look at him. I could see that he refused to look at me. Both his hands on the wheel and looking straight ahead. Slowly, I unbuckle myself and get out of the car. The entire time, I willed for him to look at me, but he never did. He really hate me now.

I'm losing him.
